The location was perfect, across from the Peace Park and close to bus and trolley routes. The breakfast was healthy and hearty and varied, good for enjoying Japanese flavors or falling back to some Western comfort food. The best part of breakfast was the view enjoyed every morning from the top-floor breakfast restaurant. Staff (front desk, breakfast) was superb and helpful.

So close to tram and bus. Also across the river from the peace park, museum, and A-bomb dome. Close to bus to go to Hiroshima castle also. Got there easily on the tram from the Matsuyama-Hiroshima ferry too. Also short walk to peace park ferry to Miyajima. Variety of food stops nearby including Okonomiyaki, Italian, onigiri, curry, udon etc. comfortable room with ample space, friendly reception staff, a bar downstairs in the lobby area. Combo washer and dryer was good too in the laundry room.

Due to the high volume of tourists in the space, the elevator going down with luggage can take up to 20 minutes. Not the fault of the hotel, just to note that you’ll need to give a lot of extra time to check out if you’re going to catch the tram or bus to JR Hiroshima for train or Shinkansen.

The location was amazing - short walk to the peace park + peace museum. There were plenty of food options around, as well as convenience stores. It was super easy to get to and from Hiroshima station on the bus as the bus stop was a minute away. We had an amazing view of the peace park and the water. Room was a good size (especially compared to other accomodation options in Japan). It was an extremely enjoyable stay, I would definitely stay again

The room did have some black mould on the curtain and the wall next to the bed (aside from this the room was very clean). Additionally some of the pillows weren’t too comfortable, however, could still have a good nights sleep. Overall still great value for money

The hotel is very well located a few minutes walk from the peace park and museum and right next to the river so we had a wonderful view from our window. We were also close to restaurants and a shopping mall a couple of blocks away. The ferry terminal for Miyajima ferries was 8 minutes walk from the hotel, which made our day trip to Miyajima very convenient. We stayed as a family of four with two teenagers and we were all able to stay in the one room comfortably - everyone had their own bed. The buffet breakfast was one of the highlights for us - offering western selections of eggs and bacon as well as Japanese breakfast options. There was something for everyone. Overall we had a very comfortable and affordable stay in a fantastic location in Hiroshima.

The hotel was quite old and some of the furnishings and rooms looked worn - there were cracked tiles in the bathroom.

The beds were very comfortable, the staff very friendly and the view was truly amazing.

The hotel seemed clean at first sight but once we got to our room we sadly came upon a very dusty and smelly room. It smelled like a very damp and dusty room, and there was in fact dust everywhere. We even found a sleeping mask from one of the previous guests lying on the floor only under the bed by half of it. We were only staying for 2 nights so we didn’t ask for room cleaning thus letting our stuff out in the open but they still entered to “clean” the room and left a note that they couldn’t make up the beds because of our belongings lying there.

A nice hotel, staff were wonderful, beds were comfy, room was clean and spacious enough. Location is amazing, diagonally across from the Hiroshima Peace Park and Museum and up the road from the ferry to Miyajima Island, plus a 10 minute walk to dozens of restaurants. Parking is not so great, one had to walk a little bit down the road to a lot, which I could see might be a pain for a family. It was ok for us as we travel light. the view from the breakfast buffet is fantastic - overlooks the peace park. I also left a pillow/blanket combo that I travel with and the hotel have been so sweet communicating with me several times in order to get it shipped to another hotel we will be staying at.

Buffet choices were on the small side.

The ease of location to the road car ( tram ) and the location to the Peace Park, all 100mtr access. The room with a view was worth it. The amenities, such as all bathroom necessities are free to access, so don't have to pack bathroom stuff was a bonus. Breakfast was free and the 50 items allowed me to eat well, even though i don't eat sugar, carbs nor seafood. A great Japanese bathhouse was only 900mtrs away and an awesome vietnamese restaurant in the backstreet was the best.

The hotel restaurant wasn't open in the evening, so had to walk to find something after a long day of walking, yet the Italian on the corner next to the boat cruise ticket area was lovely.

Amazing location, across the river from the Peace Memorial Park and Museum. Great view overlooking the river. Rooms were clean and staff were friendly and welcoming. The building itself is dated, but is in great condition. Next trip to Hiroshima, I'm coming back.

My biggest gripe is the heat in the room. The air conditioning is centrally controlled and my room faced West. This made a great sunset view, but made the room very warm. If you can sleep in the heat, this place is the best. Next time I'll request a room that faces North.

It's a nice stay, conveniently located near the Peace Park. The views from the restaurant on the top floor are amazing. We loved the location, the spaciousness of the rooms and the cleanliness. We decided to pay extra for the breakfast and we liked the variety - although we did find it a bit pricey. We could leave our backpacks after our check out so we could explore the area. The VfM is very very good.

It's such a big hotel and a bit outdated and my personal feeling was that it lacks character.

The location was excellent as we had a great view of the peace memorial park and genbaku dome. It was also well connected by street cars and buses to the train stations as we went about our travels around Hiroshima prefecture. The breakfast buffet on the top floor of the hotel was a treat as we got to have an even wider view of the surrounding area. The food did not really change during our 3 times there but they were tasty and that's all that matters to us. There's vending machines on every floor and that helps too.

There's only 4 machines in the laundry room in the hotel so we opted to visit the coin laundry 1 minute walk away from the hotel.
