The location was perfect, across from the Peace Park and close to bus and trolley routes. The breakfast was healthy and hearty and varied, good for enjoying Japanese flavors or falling back to some Western comfort food. The best part of breakfast was the view enjoyed every morning from the top-floor breakfast restaurant. Staff (front desk, breakfast) was superb and helpful.

So close to tram and bus. Also across the river from the peace park, museum, and A-bomb dome. Close to bus to go to Hiroshima castle also. Got there easily on the tram from the Matsuyama-Hiroshima ferry too. Also short walk to peace park ferry to Miyajima. Variety of food stops nearby including Okonomiyaki, Italian, onigiri, curry, udon etc. comfortable room with ample space, friendly reception staff, a bar downstairs in the lobby area. Combo washer and dryer was good too in the laundry room.

Due to the high volume of tourists in the space, the elevator going down with luggage can take up to 20 minutes. Not the fault of the hotel, just to note that you’ll need to give a lot of extra time to check out if you’re going to catch the tram or bus to JR Hiroshima for train or Shinkansen.

Very friendly and professional staff. I arrived a little before 15:00, but had the opportunity to go up to my room. It was raining that day, but the hotel offered the opportunity to buy an umbrella for 500 yen or rent one for free. The room is very large and clean. The view from the window to the park is stunning. In the lobby there is a vending machine with momiji manju. Very tasty breakfast, during which you enjoy a stunning view of the park. The hotel is very conveniently located in the city center and there are several bus stops near. The bus from the airport arrives at the Hiroshima Bus Center stop. Then you can go down the escalator and walk a little to the taxi stand. Or you can walk to the hotel in 20-25 minutes. I was very impressed by the city and my trips to Miyajima and Matsuyama. I will definitely come to Hiroshima again and choose this hotel.

The hair dryer work weak. If your hair is long, it will be very difficult to dry it. Mine is short, but I couldn't dry it all.

The hotel is located directly on the river. It is only a five-minute walk from the museum/park and the ferry landing to Miyajima. I particularly liked the onigiri delicatessen on the opposite side of the street. The connection to local public transport is very good It is a very quiet area so you can leave the window open at night The bed is very comfortable There are plenty of power sockets in the room and extra charging cables for electronic devices The staff at the reception desk is very friendly and helpful to non-Japanese speaking guests laundry room with washing machines

My room was very small - I did not have a lot of freedom of movement in the room/ very limited space for a large suitcase There is only a very small wardrobe with a few hangers to hang up your clothes

We had shipped our luggage to the hotel prior to our arrival. As soon as we checked in, the staff immediately went and got our luggage for us. We didn’t even have to ask, it was in the system that our luggage was there already. As the hotel is a little older, the rooms are a decent size. We were fortunate to have a room overlooking the River and we could see all of the Peace Park from our room. All the staff we dealt with were very friendly and helpful. We enquired the day before our departure about shipping one of our suitcases to the next hotel. We were told to just bring it down in the morning when we checked out. When we got to the desk in the morning a different staff member was working. I mentioned about shipping one of our bags and he grabbed the paperwork completely filled out by the lady the day before. She had already confirmed our reservation with the next hotel and filled everything out. The staff definitely go above and beyond! It was a wonderful stay and we would certainly come back. The hotel is in a great location for exploring the Peace Park and the River ways.

The location was amazing - short walk to the peace park + peace museum. There were plenty of food options around, as well as convenience stores. It was super easy to get to and from Hiroshima station on the bus as the bus stop was a minute away. We had an amazing view of the peace park and the water. Room was a good size (especially compared to other accomodation options in Japan). It was an extremely enjoyable stay, I would definitely stay again

The room did have some black mould on the curtain and the wall next to the bed (aside from this the room was very clean). Additionally some of the pillows weren’t too comfortable, however, could still have a good nights sleep. Overall still great value for money

Great location: very close to the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park. Panoramic views from the restaurant. Close to the tram station and convenient stores. The staff were very courteous.

- It would be good if you could make drinking water available free-of-charge in the lobby. Yes, there is a vending machine where you can purchase water. I had just come from another hotel where drinking water was available in the lobby. - When having breakfast one morning, the staff took me all the way towards the end where the view was not great although there were vacant tables near the entrance. I had to ask to be moved. Not a good experience for the guest who turned up early for breakfast. - The check-in time could be made flexible (to be fair, this is not specific to this hotel but across other hotels in Japan).

Stayed 2 nights here. Location is perfect - right next to the peace park and peace memorial museum. There is a nearby 7/11 and an amazing laundromat place around the corner (Al Jean Coin Laundry) and the streetcar station is a short walk away. Reception staff are amazing - they provide luggage forwarding services and also hold luggage after you check out. They are super understanding and quick to resolve issues as well - unfortunately I was given a room with a stale, smoky stench in it and they resolved this by preparing another room. The other room definitely was much better - had better views of the peace park and no smoke stench.

My first room unfortunately had a stale smoky stench in it, which was especially difficult to sleep through on the first night. Luckily, as mentioned above - I spoke to the staff at reception and they were so quick to amend this. They prepared a new room on another level and there was zero smoke smell in this room. If this happens to you and are sensitive to smells, let the staff know and I am sure they will be able to find a way to accommodate you.

The hotel is very well located a few minutes walk from the peace park and museum and right next to the river so we had a wonderful view from our window. We were also close to restaurants and a shopping mall a couple of blocks away. The ferry terminal for Miyajima ferries was 8 minutes walk from the hotel, which made our day trip to Miyajima very convenient. We stayed as a family of four with two teenagers and we were all able to stay in the one room comfortably - everyone had their own bed. The buffet breakfast was one of the highlights for us - offering western selections of eggs and bacon as well as Japanese breakfast options. There was something for everyone. Overall we had a very comfortable and affordable stay in a fantastic location in Hiroshima.

The hotel was quite old and some of the furnishings and rooms looked worn - there were cracked tiles in the bathroom.

The beds were very comfortable, the staff very friendly and the view was truly amazing.

The hotel seemed clean at first sight but once we got to our room we sadly came upon a very dusty and smelly room. It smelled like a very damp and dusty room, and there was in fact dust everywhere. We even found a sleeping mask from one of the previous guests lying on the floor only under the bed by half of it. We were only staying for 2 nights so we didn’t ask for room cleaning thus letting our stuff out in the open but they still entered to “clean” the room and left a note that they couldn’t make up the beds because of our belongings lying there.
