We stayed here because it was well priced and very well located for exploring the Peace Park and Museum. Convenience store located close by for breakfast and snacks, though you can opt for breakfast in the hotel. Plenty of restaurants in walking distance. The bus from Hiroshima Station stops right outside. The room was clean and quite large by Japanese standards. Hotel staff were very kind and helpful given our very limited Japanese. Would stay there again.

The room is spacious, and the cleaning is top-notch. The staff is friendly and helpful. I stayed for two nights and said that no cleaning was neaded during my stay, but when I came to the hotel in the evening of the second day, I found a bag with fresh towels and amenities hung on the door knob outside my room. I found it very thoughtful and sweet :) The location is within 15 minutes walking distance from Gembaku Dome, Peace Memorial Park and Museum, and Hiroshima Orizuru Tower. There's a tram station within walking distance, too, making it simple to get to and from Hiroshima station, as well as Miyajima ferry terminal. I would definitely stay here again when in Hiroshima.

Excellent Location, Very Affordable, Good Room, Great Staff. The hotel is in walking distance to the Memorial Park and Museum, and just a couple more steps to reach the Genbaku Dome and Hondori Shopping Street. I arrived at Hiroshima Station and just took a bus from the station to a stop right in front of Memorial Park. I thought the price for the room was very affordable, considering the location and cleanliness and the room was quite spacious in comparison to other hotel rooms I stayed at during my trip, also the staff were professional and friendly. I would definitely stay here if I were to stay in Hiroshima again.

Bed was quite firm, but I think the only problem was I didn't stay longer :D Other than that? no problemo

Wonderful hotel for a really nice price. Next to the Peace Memorial Park and well connected with the rest of Hiroshima. Staff is really nice and will help you in everything you need. The rooms are really comfortable, and the breakfast buffet is outstanding.

We only stayed 1 night, it was comfortable, clean, with old fashion style hotel. Short walk to Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum. Would recommend more night stay to explore and do other sightseeing next time.

The bathroom is very small has shower in the tub which takes too longer wait to set up the bath for a soak in the tub. Another I have called the front desk to request to book for a taxi to the train station next morning and which they could not be much of an assistant, quite disappointing. They told me it was fully booked. So, I have to do it myself.

Very good location. Walking distance to peace park and the museum. There is a ferry close by to Miyajima or a cheaper and faster one just short ride away. There are many buses around and short walk to restaurants. There is an option for breakfast buffet.

Big hotel, outdated very comfortable but not our kind of vibe.

The location was amazing, it was really close to the main park and other main attractions. You could see the river view from the room windows and it's located in a really nice area.

The rooms were a bit small particularly the beds. They weren't standard double beds but everything was clean and nice.

The location was very quiet but convenient to walk to Hondori as well as trams and buses including the Meipuru-pu. The staff were friendly and welcoming. My room was on the top floor and had a wonderful view of the river and the Nakashima bridge. The room was spacious esp. compared to many other more pricey hotels. The amenities provided were generous and included bottled water which some hotels are not doing now. There is a bakery across the road that does a set breakfast and a Lawsons on the corner. It is about a ten minute walk from Hiroshima Peace Park and Museum. This hotel is not in the heart of things but that is the trade-off for the peace and quiet. The No. 24 bus to Hiroshima station stops directly out the front which is convenient if you have lots of luggage. I would highly recommend this hotel.

I can’t think of one single criticism.

Hiroshima City Bunka Koryu Kaikan was amazing! We really felt comfortable there and the staffs were super lovely with us. We can’t recommend enough this hotel. The location was amazing really close from the main attractions. The room was spacious and it was super clean, tidy and comfortable.

Huge structure few steps from the Peace Memorial Park of Hiroshima. Staff is kind and professional, rooms are perfectly equipped and with a nice view. Breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of food (Japanese and Continental). Perfect balance price/value. The fact that the hotel is not new gives even a more interesting touch to the experience
