Overall a great experience! The location is great with easy access to transportation and plenty of restaurants nearby. The room was small as shown in the photos, but worked well for a couple with light luggage. A good selection of amenities were included, as well as two different types of pillows to choose from. I highly recommend visiting the baths on the second floor as a way to unwind after a day of activities! The staff were excellent and service was great! The breakfast available at the hotel restaurant had a decent selection to choose from, including both western and Japanese options.

The hotel was fantastic, I've stayed at places costing 3X as much and had a less good experience. The staff were amazing, all spoke good English, checkin and out was flawless. The attention to detail was fantastic little things like the shower having exceptional pressure and temperature control, the layout of the light switches, the TV recommending good places to visit. But this attention to detail extended to essentially everything in the stay. I would recommend this hotel very highly

The room was small, although as described. I'm 180cm (5' 11") and my feet were just on the bed. Taller people might overhang. The air con made a VERY small amount of sound

Location was short walk from Hiroshima station. Room was cozy. Breakfast at hotel had a wide assortment to choose from, crowded at peak times. Our second stay at this location in the past year. Wonderful overall. Room TV has monitor of activity level in spa, laundry. Was able to send luggage ahead from Fukuoka Airport to this hotel ahead of arrival and hotel held it for us.

Waiting for elevator in lobby and 3rd floor at peak times was trying. On the 3rd floor going down took several tries since so crowded cannot get in. Figured out take elevator up and go down with it. Laundry room was also crowded at times, dryer took longer than expected with folks waiting. Bit pricey.

When I arrived I was curious about the room size I had chosen, 11 sqm. Seeing the room I had no reason to worry. Everything was planned and optimized to perfection showing a degree of thought had went into it that I hadn’t anticipated. The bed and the bath was great so everything needed after a long day of sightseeing was perfect. The staff were incredibly friendly and the location perfect for my purpose.

I have nothing to add that I didn’t like. While my stay was short I had a really pleasant stay.

Exactly what you'd expect from this chain of hotels. The room was tiny but very cozy: bed super comfortable, big tv, spacious desk, nice natural light, and all kinds of amenties. There's a convience store just downstairs. Also, very close to the main train/bus station which is convenient if you're planning to travel to other cities.

The room was really small even by japanese standards. That was absolutely clear from the picture and the description (plus if you've been to other hotels of the same chain, you know what to expect)... just something to keep in mind if you're travelling with a big suitcase.

Good, standard APA hotel room with great location close to the Hiroshima Station. The public bath facilities were good, up to the chain standards and the breakfast was really complete, good quality and of course quantity.

We couldn't find a way to tell the staff not to give us the entire amenities package per person every day, because that was simply way too much. Nobody should need one toothbrush/yukata per day and receiving one for each person every day made the process of handling towels and yukatas quite difficult, not even talking about the space situation :)

For a budget hotel, I have no real complaint about this especially since the location is designed to be good (it is in the name). I actually like the most the way I could check the availability of washing machines from the TV set in my room. I was also able to book this room at last minute due to the typhoon prediction, which really helped.

If I have to say something, among all the budget hotels I stayed, APA has been the most compact (and hence the smallest space in the room). This makes unpacking and walking around somewhat awkward, but I can live with it.

The room was small but comfortable for me as a solo traveler. The bathroom looked brand new! Although it seemed a bit impersonal, the automated front desk was super efficient (and there was plenty of staff there to help as well). It was handy to have a Lawson's attached. Sadly, I didn't notice the okonomiyaki restaurant next door until too late. There is also a bike rental place very close by (if you don't have a Japanese number, only full or afternoon rentals are possible).

The room was a little too warm (the hotel is air-conditioned as a whole, not room-by-room). It is possible to open the room window, but I couldn't figure it out.

Quiet, clean and comfortable room. Short walk from the Shinkansen station. Close to restaurants and conbini. Towels and clean yukata provided daily. Bath is very clean and many small amenities provided. Hot water kettle and fridge in the room; ice machines on several floors. Luggage storage is well organized. I appreciated the room's bedside control panel!

Check-in required assistance, a little confusing. Note to Westerners: you step UP and then DOWN into the bath area, it's a bit tricky. This was a good room for one person but would be a little "cozy" for two.

Just a short walk from the train station, so easy to get to on arrival in Hiroshima. Early check in cost Y1000 per hour or you can leave the bags at reception until check in. My room was small but adequate for my stay: very clean and comfortable. There's a convenience store attached to the hotel which is very handy if you want a ready meal or a sandwich at a reasonable price. As it was a one night stay I can't really comment on any other facilities. I found the location very convenient for my needs, allowing me to wander around the city and then not have far to walk to the station the next day. I would definitely recommend.
