Great location close to the train station. Lovely, helpful staff who went out of their way to assist us when we had questions about the area. We had booked an accessible room but there was a bit of a mixup when we arrived and they had us booked into a regular room. The staff were wonderful and changed the booking so that we had the room we originally booked, which was very comfortable. We often ate at the cafe downstairs and befriended some of the staff who were very happy to practice their english with us. Overall, a wonderful experience.

There is nothing negative to say about our stay.

Stylish for a business hotel. Decent soundproofing. Five minutes walk to the station, so convenient for a one night stay. Good value (if you can get a good deal). Staff were pleasant and efficient.

Tourists staying for longer than one night would be better off in Hatchobori, as there's little of interest in the immediate vicinity. There's a construction site at the back of the hotel at time of writing. The room is a typically cramped Japanese business hotel room with a tiny plastic bathroom. It's supposed to be 14sq metres, but that seems an ambitious measurement that includes the bathroom. It's more like 10-11sq metres. Pretty much no room to move around or open a case. While the onsen is nice to have, as it's a business hotel it's extremely busy in the mornings for men.

- Toilet separate from bathing area, with the shower separated from the tub. - The table where two people could sit. - The ability to check laundry via the television. - The staff was friendly and accommodating.

- The pillows were pretty firm, despite flipping it to the softer side. - The smoking section was near the front and we could smell smoke when entering and exiting the hotel. - The amenities were more limited than other hotels.

Loved the location (right next to train station-perfect for travelling in and out of Hiroshima, including to Miyajima island), loved the spacious room, the helpful staff, the gorgeous onsen! Cannot fault anything at all!. I can highly recommend this super hotel!

Loved everything! No fault to be noted for the hotel at all! A 35 min walk (which we gladly did to get a feel for Hiroshima, but super easy acces for public transport too), to the Hiroshima Dome. If u do visit the Dome, go to 'Parco della Pace' Italian restaurant for amazing pizza, made by the most lovely Japanese couple, run restaurant. Better than a lot of pizza places back home in Europe! And only a 5-7 min walk from the Dome. Enjoy!

Hotel is on the other side of the railway station. To get to the Peace Park etc, one will have to go through the busy station. However Construction going on the street car side of the station making it very chaotic, so it is better to stay on this side where the hotel is located. My room has view of the shinkansen track but don't get the noise. Hotel has a spacious lobby lounge area to hang out. All the dining outlets at the railway station is just 5 minutes walk away, so very convenient but they are extremely busy especially when baseball games are on at the nearby stadium

The lift system is odd - one has to flash room card on the panel outside the lift and then press the lift button to call the lift. But one can go to every floor instead.

The hotel is right next to the main railway station with access to the train and the town loop tourist buses. There are a few food places opposite and a supermarket. The room was very comfortable and much bigger than other hotels in Japan where we had stayed. There was a roomy seating area which was great for meals we had in our room and we were not tripping over suitcases. I like that more hotels are not using individual toiletries but even more that they have a selection of extras, such as toothbrushes, cottonbuds, coffee etc downstairs that you can grab if you need them, rather that have them cluttering up compact Japanese bathrooms.

Pillows. I'm not a fan of Japanese pillows - they are hard and vary from flat to fat at have beans or something lumpy on one side. But this was at every Japanese hotel, not just Via Inn.

I chose the hotel due to the location next to the train station, it was a 3 minute walk and made things very convenient. It was elegant and pleasant. The room was nice and spacious for Japanese standards, we enjoyed the table area. The breakfast at the downstairs cafe was really nice and nourishing.

We stayed with a child, who was officially part of the reservation, but I assume not charged for, but he did not get the included breakfast. We had to pay extra for his breakfast, even though ours were included, and the breakfast was also the reason why we chose the hotel. This was odd.

I love the sento/onsen, it has both indoor and outdoor bath. It was also very close to Hiroshima station. The room was also good for 2 people. My husband loved the bathroom. You can also see on the TV the status of the laundry as well as the vacancy of the sento/onsen. The sento/onsen area has a cold water that you can drink after taking a bath. The pajama was also very comfy. There was also a microwave on the 1st floor. It was also very easy to check in and out. The view from our room was great! I love the shampoo, conditioner and body wash. You can get as many toothbrush/toothpaste, bath towel, coffee/tea as you like. Overall great experience!

There were no free complimentary water on the room. The room was small like other budget hotels, it would be good if luggages can be kept below the bed. It would also be good if they allow eating/drinking on the lobby area where the microwave is located, since there are seats.

Location is brilliant for the Hiroshima train and bus station, which are both around the corner from the hotel, 5 mins away. The onsen was fabulous! Staff were lovely and could speak a little English or would use their 'pocket talk' machines to help converse! Luggage receiving/forwarding worked a treat again. The breakfast in the Komeda coffee shop attached to the hotel was sufficient to start the day. Room was compact, as per alot of the Japanese hotels, but had everything you needed.

Only Minor things -hard pillows again, and the washing machines seemed permanently on the go, only 5 on our floor( not sure if it was just the 5 for the whole hotel! ) waited 3 times to use one, eventually getting one at 11pm!

The location of the hotel is excellent - only a couple of minutes easy walk from Hiroshima Station. There is a nice little bar/restaurant precinct of 4 or 5 streets next to the railway line in the opposite direction to the station accessed by an underpass. We ate at different places there both nights of our stay. Room size is good as is the onsen.

We didn't think the connected cafe was so great (only had breakfast there once of our two mornings) but its very busy so obviously doing something right
