The Hotel is a gold standard in luxury, from the staff to the rooms. I loved the association to the Kahala Hotel in Hawaii and it brought so much nostalgia since I am from Hawaii and used to work at the Kahala resort when it was still a Mandarin Oriental property. The iconic sweets, the ambiance, traditions and level of service are exactly the same. It reminded me so much of home in Hawaii. This is my first stay here so I could not explore everything at the property but if I ever get another chance I will definitely stay here again.

The location was a little out of the way but is only a minor detail as Minato Mirai is not hard to navigate or you're main purpose of stay is a short getaway from the city. The property however is situated right next to Pacifco so if you are there for a convention or event its the perfect location. The location also leaves a bit to be desired if you are looking for a place with a view, however the ambiance of the hotel makes up for this minor detail and the architecture and design of the property is a site to behold. I did not get an opportunity to tour the facilities or property as much as I wanted to so I will definitely stay here again.

Big hotel with many attractions like swimming pool and small public bath. Staff is educated very well. They communicate with microphone or something that they share where we should go to or try to maximise the utilisation. Small public bath warmed us a lot. The room was brilliant. Very clean and luxurious looking room.

The front is somehow the top of the building and we have to go to the top. We had to wait quite sometime compared to other hotel to do check in and out.

The hotel room is huge by Japanese hotel standards

The processes are unexpectedly clumsy given that this is a 5-star hotel. At check-in you are first directed to sit at a lounge then almost immediately get up and move to a check-in desk. At check-out, it was the same. Wait at a lounge then almost immediately move to a check-in desk. Then after check-in I stayed at the lounge for about 40 mins waiting for my husband and finally when we went to leave via the elevators, a service staff chased me to the elevators asking if I had already completed check out. They had 40 mins to ask me that question OR they could have checked with their colleague beforehand rather than chasing me down at the elevator.

We had one night there combined with a birthday celebration. We enjoyed the spacious room with a view as well as the proximity to the Rinko park. The dinner that night was top-notch, both from eh fold selection and cozy setting in the private room. The team at the receptionbgrlped us with arranging short-term babysitting service so we could spend a few hours out before the night. Overall, it was an excellent stay, way beyond what we expected.

This well situated hotel near the convention center is moder, new and well cleaned property. The check in was very personalized and all staff is very professional. The receptionist escorted us to the room, showed us all possibilities and services. The room was large with nice view to harbor. The breakfasts were served in several ways - can make a reservation in buffet restaurant or a la carte restaurant Ozzio. The service in Ozzio restaurant was as in Michelin star restaurant (very professional and attentive service). The spa area with swiming pool, sauna and ,,onsen,, pools with hot waters were amazing.

The restaurant with breakfast buffet is advertising on 3 big screens the whole breakfast time the Kahala property in Hawai. Was nice to see but not every morning - we were in Japan so would prefere to see Japan culture.

The hotel is new and comfortable. The room was quite large, beds were also comfortable, we slept very well. Air condition works perfectly, it cools the room but does not make any noise and you do not get cold. The swimming pool looked clean. Location is also convenient in Yokohama.

The staff was everywhere and they did not let you do anything or go anywhere without them. I understand this is the hotel’s policy and is supposed to be helpful, but in fact it is not. Sometimes we felt overwhelemed and not comfortable, e.g. in the locker room in spa area, we would prefer more privacy. Additionally, when we got back to the room in the evening our clothes as well as the bed were a little wet. I do not know why because we left the AC working so the air should be dry. But as we stayed for 2 nights only it was not a major problem.

New elegant hotel, good location, beautiful suite

The food was terrible either breakfast in the ballroom, which was only on a Saturday, in room breakfast n lunch in the lounge was cold. Every day our breakfast was allocated in a different place, which was very annoying and the hotel western breakfast was very limiting. Two hamburgers were $102 Aus and the spa treatments were good but extremely expensive ranging from $300 to $600 for facials and massages

The room and view was spectacular. Truly 5 star. The gym was very well equipped and open 24 hours…even Chris Bumsted (Mr Olympia) would have been happy. The spa facilities were excellent.

TV didn’t have App options or mirroring otherwise it was fine.

Spacious and luxurious room, staff are great!

Charges for use of public bath. Small issue but was also asked to leave my mat in the midst of exercise in gym (no signages showing that that mat was reserved?). Wasn’t expecting these in a upscale hotel.

Staff very really helpful and accomdating, one lady in particular was super friendly, making me feel more comfortable about my stay, she even showed interest in my nezuko/demon slayer and one piece stickers on my luggage. Room was super comfy and a lot of room, had all the facilities and amenities I required. Would stay again if I'm ever in Yokohama again
