Excellent location, ultra-clean and super-nice staff. Our first night’s stay was in a smallish room with a single queen-size bed; when we decided to extend our stay one more night we moved to a twin bed room which was quite a bit larger and had a bathtub. Our taxi driver had great difficulty in locating the hotel even with the address provided by the hotel itself. The Splaisir occupies the 4th through 12th floors of a huge multipurpose building called “Yokohama Front.” There is nothing we saw on the outside of the building that indicates it houses a hotel, so be aware. An excellent, pricey, bakery is adjacent to the hotel check-in area as is a restaurant serving only Japanese food.

If you’re looking to explore Yokohama or take day trips into Tokyo, this is the most convenient location you can find. It is located just outside of Yokohama Station, and is surrounded by hundreds of amazing restaurants, large malls, grocery and drugstores. The hotel itself is very new, modern, and clean. There is a gym, self service luggage room, and self check-in/out. We stayed in the residential double room, and it was the perfect choice for longer stays as there is a well-equipped kitchenette (utensils, pots/pans, stovetop, rice cooker, fridge/freezer, etc) and laundry wash/dryer with detergent in the room. The rooms are beautifully designed with calming light wood tones, with high end furnishings including a Toto Neorest toilet! There was ample closet and storage space, as well as space to relax and place out luggage. This may be one of the best rooms we’ve stayed in, and we have been to 20+ hotels in Japan. Cleaning staff did an excellent job keeping the rooms spotless and tidy, and reception staff were efficient and polite. Thank you very much for a wonderful stay in Yokohama! We hope to be back again!

The first thing I really liked was that everything was very new and clean and felt luxurious, which makes sense because the hotel just opened earlier this year. The size of the standard room is also larger compared to other "Sotetsu" hotels that I have stayed at. The toilet and shower is in separate rooms, yet they were still very spacious. The bedroom also had an extra space to fit a small couch. The amenities were all provided in the room, such as combs, toothbrushes, towels, etc. And they were just replaced whenever you have housekeeping. There were also plenty of self laundromats in each floor, which was a godsend because I didn't bring enough clothes and I sweated too much everyday. Checking-in and checking out was an easy process, and there was always staff nearby to help. There was also a fitness/gym room but I did not use it during my stay. The location was quite nice. There was a very delicious bakery right at the lobby, as well a restaurant for the breakfast and other meals. The hotel was located on the new Yokohama Front, at the 4th floor. There were plenty of restaurants in the 1st and 2nd floor. There was also a walkway to Yokohama Station, which was very convenient. They also had a luggage storage space near the lobby. The last thing I really liked the most was that there was a grocery right at the back entrance, near the elevator. This grocery helped me get affordable meals and snack when I didn't want to spend too much money. And this grocery is a lot closer than any other convenience store in the area. It was called Bunkado.

There was a weird smell in my bedsheets and pillows. They looked clean and they were changed every other day, but maybe the detergent or the way it was washed was different. Also it was first confusing when I tried to find the hotel on my first day. I exited from the North West Exit of Yokohama Station, and I took a left turn instead of turning right and going up the escalator to the walkway. Hopefully there could be a sign or directions near that area for first timers.

Great location, new and clean. We chose a room with a washing machine which was great for our longer stay, but they also had laundry facilities on every other floor as well. Big fridge in our room. Grocery store close to hotel. So many restaurants in area, loved options at NeWoman shopping center just next door. Loved city bakery in the lobby.

The room was clean and modern, and this hotel seems to be a relatively new hotel. The bed was comfortable. It was also nice to have a humidifier in the room, to increase the humidity in the room during winter. The location of the hotel is great, as it is a 5-10 minutes walk to the nearest exit of Yokohama station. Thus, it was a good location for making day trips to locations outside Yokohama. There are also many food options within walking distance from the hotel.

The underground walkways in the nearby Yokohama station are quite long, taking more than 10/15 minutes to walk from one station exit to another station exit. Nonetheless, this was expected when I chose to stay at a hotel near a large train station.

A new and modern hotel close to Yokohama station. Easily accessible from Haneda Airport - direct train to Yokohama and 5 min walk to hotel. The breakfast is not a buffet but a choice of 2 dishes (one in 6 variants) with a self selection of sides, but the quality was excellent.

The only issue we had was find the way to the hotel. We followed Google Maps and the street level and then it is hard to find the correct way to the lobby which is level 4F of the building. The easiest way to (which we only found out later) was to take the elevated walkway on level 2F coming from Yokohama station and then there are outside escalators and clear signage to the Hotel.

This is the second time in this hotel. Last year in (Nov 2024) we stayed at this hotel for four nights and went there again this month (March 2025). It was one of the nicest hotels for us in Japan as it met our needs. The bedroom is recent and clean. There is a big TV, and multiple storage options. Everything is replenished and replaced every time the room is cleaned. (Bathroom utensils, slippers and pajamas and so on). The bathroom is inviting to take a bath as it is a separate Japanese wet room, with chair and water bucket. We personally love this. After a long day of walking, you can relax in a warm bath with a Japanese herbal bath bomb. There are washing machines on two floors, which can be checked via the TV, as well as vending machines for drinks, an ice machine and a microwave. In the entrance of the hotel (4F) is the The City Bakery and also a hair salon called Vif AVEDA. In the same building below is a sushi restaurant (Sushiro), a Desserts Cafe called Hanayori Cafe and an Italian restaurant. A few meters away is a pharmacy, a grocery shop (Bungado) and a Family Mart. A 24-hour restaurant is next to Family Mart. The hotel is directly connected to all the malls NEWoman/Marui City/ LUMINE / VIVRE / AEON etc. and very very close to the train station. The two gentlemen at reception were very friendly and our check-in was quick. Check-in is modern and digitalized. We liked it very much. See you soon! New edit, 6 March 2025: We arrived at the Hotel and were welcomed so heartwarmly. A welcome letter was placed in our room for us. Thanks a lot! That made us very happy. Excellent location! Stone throw from Yokohama Station. Clean room. Friendly and helpful staff.

1. Limited choice for breakfast. 2. From my room, I could hear the moving trains as early as 05:00+ in the morning until end of day operation at about 01:00. However, my friend from another room (different facing) hear nothing. 3. The electrical switch box was located behind the bed!!! Realised this when staff came to troubleshoot the entrance light malfunction. 4. All Japanese channels; no English or Chinese or any foreign language news channels available.

The whole building was extremely modern and comfortable with both a delicious restaurant and cafe. The staff were really friendly and accommodating and both the check-in and check-out process was smooth and hassle free, including being able to look after your bags before and after your checked-in time. The hotel is in a great spot, right by the train station with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. I highly recommend visiting Yokohama and this hotel. Very happy with my booking.

With my flight landing early in the morning, but the check-in time being at 3pm (or up to 12 with a small early check-in fee), it does leave you waiting to just slump down in your room for a bit after a long journey. However, they are able to lock away your bags in the meantime, meaning you don't have to lug them around the city for long.

Location - connected by a footbridge from Yokohama Station N.West Exit, it's located right by the station and housed within The Yokohama Front Tower building. If you take the right train, it's really just 18mins away from Shinagawa, 25mins from Haneda, 35mins from Tokyo Station. Convenience - plenty of restaurants, izakayas, ramen shops, convenience stores in the surrounding area. Shopping - again, NEWoMan, Lumine, HANDS, Takashimaya, Sogo are all by the station Hotel Amenities - Fast check-in/out (staffed counter or self-service machines); clean drinking water from taps; decent cafe at the lobby; locker area; free gym until 2400 Room - separate bathroom w/ sink and toilet!

Room size - Not bad really but Tokyo standard I'd say. Can be a wee bit bigger Late check-out - 1000yen/hr after 11am. Came knocking my door a couple mins past 11am directly while I was in the middle of changing clothes. Could call first perhaps.
