The room was simple, but comfortable and clean. The hotel had been renovated a number of years back so the room was a misc of business hotel aesthetics (basic) and modern styling. This hotel had a public bath which allowed me to relax after a busy day. The staff were exceptional and were the best part of this hotel. My partner had left something behind after checking out and when he called, they were able to locate it swiftly. The hotel is a short walk from Yokohama station. We like how there was a convenience store next door and a 24 hour udon store just across the road.

I loved how close this place was to Yokohama Station—super easy to get around! What really made it awesome was having a 7-Eleven literally next door (snack runs at any hour? Yes, please!) and a Jonathan’s just steps away. It’s a cozy local chain that gave me a taste of the area without even having to venture far. Super convenient and full of local charm!

hile some areas of the hotel felt a bit dated, the room itself totally made up for it—it was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed to relax after a day out. The elevator needs renovation, however, it still works.

A convenient location for Yokohama station, with a good variety of local restaurants. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The sento was nice, and the other hotel facilities (coin laundry etc.) were easy to access.

The rooms are a bit small, even for this category of hotel, but OK if staying alone. The lack of a clothes line in the bathroom, which I've become used to in Japanese hotels, was a slight inconvenience.

The hotel staff was very friendly and a big bonus the speak English. Great foyer and the room was very cosy. Hotel was close to Yokohama station. The public bath was very relaxing after a full day of activities and it has an ice cream vending machine. There was only one pillow per person in the room and the pillows is uncomfortable other issue was the room was located sort of parallel with the lift and you can hear the hosting noise when the lift is in use. This carries on every second day and night.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. English was no problem for them, and broken Japanese was fine as well ;) Even though I gave my information about arrival way too late, they were still really nice about it (again, sorry for that). The room was a typical small size for Japan. I was alone and am pretty small myself, so it might not be as helpful to some of you. But I had three suitcases, one big bagpack, and bought too many things, and was still able to live there comfortably. The bed was quite big, and very comfortable. The following information, though, might be relevant for the allergic people: the beds are nice, but it's the feather-filled kind. So be prepared, if you have problems with this. (I did, but I am used to that and just took the sheets and no pillow. Was still very nice and because of the AC no problem with the temperature as well). I probably could have asked for an alternative at the reception, but I didn't want to bother them and I am adaptable... For things like brushes, extra towels, drinks or whatever, a lot is offered at the reception to just take, or you buy drinks at the vending machines. There is also a microwave. If you need to wash your clothes, they have two washing machines and two dryers that (right now) cost 400¥ for washing and 100¥ for 10 minutes of drying. It was possible to have the room cleaned daily, but it is the clients choice if it is needed. You have to put the sign up until 12 o'clock. If yes, the bed will be made, towels changed, garbage disposed and a new water bottle will be provided (and of course, the room was cleaned). The public bath is really nice as well, and I definitely recommend using it!!! Also, I am no expert, but I really enjoyed the offered soaps for body and hair. They surely are basic ones, but they smell nice. Last but not least, the location is quite good, as there are several Konbinis literally right next to the hotel, as well as some restaurants.

I saw some reviews about the cleanliness of the rooms and the way they look. My room had some damages on the walls, and the bathroom had some corners that looked a bit moldy. But it was not that bad, and I definitely have seen worse in more expensive hotels. So I get the critique, but you shouldn't be too turned off by it. It is still a very good deal for the location, quality of service, and a very comfortable room!

I recently stayed at HOTEL PLUMM with my Family and had an exceptional experience. From the moment we arrived, the Staffs were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure all our needs were met. The Room was spacious, impeccably clean, and equipped with all the amenities I could ask for, including a comfortable bed, modern bathroom, and fast Wi-Fi. The location was perfect, situated close to Yokohama Station, major attractions and public transportation, making it easy to explore the area. I also appreciated the Housekeeping. One of the highlights was the Hotel's Staff attention to detail and commitment to customer service. Any requests I had were promptly addressed, and their fluency in English made communication effortless. Overall, my stay at HOTEL PLUMM was Fantastic. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay. I will definitely book my stay here again on my next visit.

Great location, walking distance to the station (5-10 minutes depending on the route). Yokohama was bigger than we expected. We walked to the bay, but it took a good 45 minutes. The hotel had a lovely atmosphere, breakfast was excellent with choices rather than the usual buffet, which was welcome. The Onsen was clean, spacious and relaxing with a Dyson hairdryer (now on my wish list!). Nice choice of books and a piano in the beautiful lobby. Really happy with our choice.

Great location and close to everything. The staff are friendly. The bed is comfortable. The public bath is wonderful. Everything I needed was there (Public bath, Laundry Room, multi-USB plug, amenities, Free wifi, etc.).

I could sometimes hear voices from the next room. Every time I turned off the air conditioner, the remote showed the cost of energy consumption.

The staff will bring up your luggage to your room if you deposit them before the check-in period. Very friendly staff, able to converse in english enough. I placed Amazon orders days before my flight and they took care of them, which you can collect during your stay. There’s a Baskin Robin vending machine at the basement outside the public bath if you don’t wanna get your ice cream fix out in the cold. Plenty of connivence stores and small restaurants nearby. Overall, a fairly decent experience

There aren't many people using the public bath, so we had really good experience using the public bath. It was a great chance to experience Japanese bathing culture before we go to Onsen. The young female staffs were so nice and tried to help us understanding using translator. The facilities were nice and clean.

It is tricky to get to the hotel from Yokohama station. The best way is to use the underpass of the station, and if you go out of the station, the google map will have hard time navigating you due to lots of underpass beneath the streets, and there are not many crosswalks.
