First of all, it was my best hotel experience in my whole traveling life. It is because of the combination of some reasons. First and foremost, the hotel is a concept hotel of sailors. Everything was well designed accordingly and makes you feel something different, not just like you're staying in a hotel. Second, price-performance with this concept is unbelievable. If I have another visit around Yokohama, no doubt I will go for this [ if they keep that price-performance ratio :) ]. Third, its location is great. In its bar, you can have one free drink, which was nice. Staying and spending time in Knot was really nice. I felt like time flows slower there.

I just wanted to keep this as it is, there is no "I do not like" section for this one.

The Knot hotels are always a great classy, cozy yet hip vibe. They offer you a drink coupon per person upon check in to grab at the bar (limited selection for the welcome drink but that's expected and it's free so always a win for me - alcoholic and non-alcoholic options available for free check in drink). The room isn't large, but I never expect that in Japan. What I will say is that 1) the room is well-equipped with amenities, 2) the bed was comfortable, there was enough room to accommodate 3 big suitcases, and 3) the view of the river from my room was gorgeous. It was rainy and you can watch people with their umbrellas walk along the shimmering roads - just gorgeous. I loved the proximity to public transit and that it was close to everything - from restaurants to malls - it was prime. Now, one thing I will warn you is that it sometimes, people will be partying outside until early morning light, but it never bothered me. It was just amusing to open my window and hear people laughing, singing and having a good time. The staff was also very sweet. They stored my baggage for me when I sent it to them via takkyubin service and they also held it for me when I checked out and wanted to explore the city before my flight.

I found the room size was just right for one person and the room was well equipped with all typical necessities. the location is fantastic as there are several major malls and the train station nearby. cleaning was done every 3 days which I found totally sufficient. staff is very friendly. the washer-dryer on the 4th floor was very convenient and efficient.

every day (except for the cleaning days) staff hung a bag with fresh towels, pyjamas, slippers etc. on the door which i found unnecessary since the room already had plenty and cleaning/replacing was done every 3 days. the bags were just piling up in my room. it's just a minor issue which can easily be overlooked though.

Best place to stay if you're in Yokohama. It's close by Yokohama station and near a bunch of shopping centers and konbinis. Everyday we get new towels, slippers, and coffee delivered in front of our door since they do not offer room cleaning. There's a bar downstairs as well as a restaurant. Saw lots of wedding photos being taken here.

The room smelled a bit weird when we checked in (probably due to carpet smell). We used a deodorizer and it sorta helped. The room we booked was next to the main road, so it gets noisy in the morning. Not a lot of good lighting in the room unless you don't mind opening the blinds (lots of buildings and pedestrians can look into room).

Location : fantastic. within 10min walk to the west of Yokohama Station, with AEON behind, Lawson convenient store in front. Toyota Rent-a-car is also nearby. Lobby is on the 2nd floor. We like that the restaurant and bar is right on the ground floor as you enter the building. Really nice decor/ambience. Room is nice, spacious, clean and comfortable. We had 2 separate bookings as we extended our stay. First room was Level 4...and it got a little noisy late at night and early in the morning from the street below. The 2nd room was Level 10 and was quiet. However, L4 had the microwave and laundry room. Bathroom is clean and everything works fine. Love that they provide organic drip coffee bags in the room. Concierge was accomodating to store our luggage for several hours after we checked out.

we had to leave used towels (if you want them changed) and the trash outside our door every morning. I guess it's just a small inconvenience.

Location is near the Yokohama Station , plenty of places for dining and shopping . DFS is just round the corner. Paid for a room for 3 with two adults gave us a lot of space . Room is clean and all toiletries are provided . The beds are comfortable . Took the Narita Express from platform 10 to the airport for our departure . A good place to transfer to/from Narita apart from busy Tokyo. Suited our needs

The room is not quite sound proof. We could hear talking voices of people but it did not bother us and so that was okay

The room is spacious and must say a big thank you to the cleaning team who always hang clean towels at my door! The reception is great too. When I was unwell, the gentleman helped me to look for an English speaker doctor whose hospital is walking distance away. It is also surrounded by many eateries and malls. Very convenient.

Will appreciate if we can have 2 keys so that we can go in and out at different times.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It has a grear location, just a 3-minute walk from Yokohama Station, made it quite convenient for exploring the city. The surrounding area has a variety of restaurants and shops, adding to the overall experience. The facilities were very clean, and the staff were super friendly and available at all times. We would definitely choose to stay here again on our next trip to Japan.

Including USB power points to recharge phones and tables would be a big plus. Especially for overseas travelers that lack a Japanese power adapter

Location is great - short walk to Yokohama Station which made getting there and getting around easier. Our family twin was huge and had a great desk space to do a little work. Room under beds for luggage was handy. There is a good large supermarket behind the hotel which made buying snacks and breakfast supplies easy. The hotel bar was a comfortable place to grab a drink and had a happy hour with 500yen drinks each afternoon. Staff at the front desk were excellent. Yokohama itself is a fabulous city for a few days as a change from Tokyo. We really enjoyed it.

The hotel is in a great location, just 5 minutes from the Yokohama station. The intrior is very nice, with a feeling of an old british high-end pub with industrial elements. The rooms are well equipped and the beds are very comfortable. The breakfast was also tasty :)

The rooms were rather small. The 3 person room was managable, but the 2 persons room barely had a room to leave our baggage. This is normal for Japan though, so just a remark for travelers to keep this in mind ;)
