We felt very safe; we are a family of four who wanted to try the capsule experience. Our boys were settled next to their dad and I was on the woman’s floor. For anyone concerned they might be claustrophobic- there is lots of room and feels more cosy and “womb-like”. We all slept like babies.

This definitely caters to men! They had beautiful spa and shower rooms. I had everything I needed; there were nice basic showers for women and makeup stations. It was lovely and comfortable but would be nice to have the onsen experience for women as well. The fan in my capsule didn’t seem to work but there was enough air flow that it didn’t get stuffy.

Please note that guests must check out every day at 10am, no exceptions. if you stay consecutively, you need to check out everyday. This was fine with me, but this is something you need to note. The luggage is stored in a separate room which can be inconvenient. However, this is a capsule hotel right near the station, a great location to be next to the Yokohama station. However, it is not near the tourist attractions. I knew this booking it so it was fine for me. This is a real capsule hotel more aimed towards locals who miss the train or want to be closer to work. it was perfect for my situation. Check in and check out 24 hours a day, and you don't even need a reservation. This was life saving when I urgently needed a place to stay with no notice. It is exceptionally clean. The capsules even have a tv and lights. However, it is on the warmer side. Pyjamas, towels and slippers all provided. Do note the spa onsen part is for males ONLY. So do not stay here as a woman expecting to be able to go to the spa. if you know what you are signing up for this is a great place to stay and I enjoyed my stay.

Spa onsen was only for men.

I loved the atmosphere. I think I was the only tourist in the building... The breakfast coupon option was good, and the cafe next door was excellent. Everyone else was Japanese and working class / on business, and it was a very peaceful, respectful stay. The Capsule pod was fantastic, the Sauna and Spa Facilities were very clean, organised and easy to use. The Staff were very helpful, even though I don't speak Japanese.

The button to activate the pod facilities was not marked clearly or labelled and took a momment for me to figure it out. Turns out the pod number light, you press it and it powers all items within the capsule pod. But this is a really minor point tbh. Somehow got booked as female on their end, was changed to male and the prices difference adjusted. I think it was an assumption based on my name or other mistake...

This hostel is just a quick walk away from Yokohama station. I appreciate how the capsules have a small TV and a futuristic, spaceship-like feel. Upon check-in, they provide an amenity bag with items like lounge wear, slippers, and towels. The amenity skin and hair care products were cool, and the shower/dressing room area was spacious, with tons of counter space which was perfect for doing a skincare or makeup routine. The lockers are large length-wise. They won't fit a suitcase, so you will have to leave your luggage in a room technically accessible to everyone on the floor. But my advice would be to simply take out more pricey items from your suitcase and put them in your locker instead, which can only be opened with your individual key. I felt completely safe here, so I always felt comfortable. The entire floor is gendered, so you will always be among women if you are on the female floor. You have to leave the dorm area from 10am to 2pm everyday since they change everyone's sheets every single day, but you can always stay in the lounge area downstairs. You can eat, relax, or use electronics there since they do have outlets. The front desk was consistently staffed, and during my stay, extending it last minute was easy as there were a lot of empty beds. This place is probably the biggest hostel I stayed at, so there were still a lot of occupants. Simply tell the staff if you plan to extend your stay so you can keep the same bed/locker. A tip for getting the best price and availability: check their official website or Booking.com. Handling everything online can prevent you from potentially paying more than necessary at the front desk.

You have to leave the dorm area every day from 10 am to 2 pm. I actually thought this would bother me more than it did, but I guess knowing that this is how the capsule hotel operates made it easy to follow the schedule, so just be aware of this. I suppose it is the best way they manage such a large hostel. Most of the time, my sheets were completely clean except for once when I did find a stain. I did ask to extend my stay at the front desk once, and the guy literally hid an online deal from me to try and get me to pay more. However, once I noticed there was a deal online, I just went back to my dorm and did it on my own. Almost all the staff were great though; it was just that one guy. So again, book everything online.

I really liked the location. It's super close to Yokohama station which is very convenient for travelers. It's a very modern hotel and everything is updated. They provide pj's, tooth brushes, a shower bag, and slippers for you. You can't eat in the upper levels but the dining area was nice and quiet to enjoy a good meal. The women's floor is the second and there is an unlocked room to store your luggage and then a locked changing room with lockers to store your valuables. Similar to an onsen, you get a key from your locker that you wear on you for the rest of your stay. . The staff are great. They have English, but since I am learning Japanese they made sure to use slow and easy Japanese so that I could understand. How considerate!

When I booked this place I read in the title "spa"and expected to find an onsen in site which is why I paid the 5,000 for this booking, but was a tad disappointed when I walked into the bathroom and found only a row of showers. I've been able to find similar accomodations in the 2-3,000 yen range, but I suppose you're paying the extra 2,000 to be so close to the station. I found the capsule beds to be nice, very standard, but there was no air conditioning in the room and I was very hot throughout the night which made it hard to rest continuously.

Comfortable and sturdy beds - no creaking, good size, solid privacy curtain, equipped with a clock, TV, circulation fan. Nice shower area - plenty of showers, good water pressure/temperature, lots of mirror area with tissues and outlets for use. Good location - around the corner from at least 2 different konbini chains, easy walking distance to lively food/fun neighborhood, near a post office, not too far from Yokohama station (the walk is flat).

Sauna is only available to men - women's showers are clean and nice, but no sauna. Lockers are slim - full height but not meant for luggage (even a backpack is tricky). There is a room for suitcases, but the lockers are only good for hanging a few things. Daily 'check-out' period - you need to have all of your belongings out of your capsule from 10-2 (regardless of if you're staying multiple nights). This is a daily cleaning period. You're able to keep your belongings in the locker/luggage room but you will not be able to enter past the lobby until you are checked back in, so make sure you have everything you need for the day.

The property is located area 10/15 minute walk from Yokohama Station so is well linked. The property provides towels and pjs which you return every morning and they are replaced with fresh ones. The floors are divided into women's only and men's only for privacy and there is a sit down area with a small kitchen and vending machine in the reception. The women's only floor had a large area to get ready with showers, sinks, a separate hair-drying station and a sit down area with a large mirror. The pod room was clean and sheets were changed each day. Large luggage storage that can be accessed throughout the day.

Unable to access room or facilities between certain hours, which you are made aware of beforehand.

I was pleasantly surprised but the whole thing. It is 5 minutes walking from Yokohama station, so a very central location, and very easy to find since the entrance is giving on a medium street. 2nd floor is female only and 3rd floor is male only. It's a great idea to avoid awkard situations, and also I was very happy not to have loud snoring like usual when the room are mixed. The pods are pretty large compared to other places I have been to. I could sit up and strech my arms above me. You can choose the lights intensity, which is really great because you can have a powerful light or a very dim one just to watch a movie. There is also a TV (with headphones) and a small clock/alarm set in the wall. Like other people have mentionned in their reviews, you need to take all your belongings out of the pod bewteen 10:00 and 14.00 so that the staff can clean everything. Might be a bit bothersome for some people who would like to sleep in but at least it gives you a motivation to go out. You can put everything in your designated locker meanwhile.

The locker to put our belongings is so small ! It's tall (like 1m70m) but the width is like 40 cm maximum, to make my 40 liters backpack enter I had to push it hard to slide in ! The room next to it where you leave your bigger luggage is not locked at all so technically anyone can enter and take your luggage, even if they are cameras always watching. You need your bracelet with a QR code to enter the pod rooms, the shower room, the locker room but not the storage room ? I can kind of understand the concept because people leave their belongings there the day they leave and can come back later, and since at check-out we give the bracelet with the QR code back, it would be difficult to re-enter this room without it, but still, a code could be a good idea instead.

This was a cosy and comfortable capsule hotel. The bed and facilities were super clean and well maintained. The only issue I had was storage space as there is only 1 facility available for large suitcases and the lockers were super slim, meaning no bulky items (backpack) could fit. Apart from this, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and would go again. There is space downstairs to warm up your food or make a cup of tea/coffee and free wifi throughout the building.

Location was great, right by the station. The facilities were clean and I had a fresh kit with towels and loungewear left each day. Bed was comfy and I liked that there was a fan built in to your capsule

The lockers to place your stuff in were very small, but there was a luggage storage space on the women's floor - get in early to find a space! Staff would answer your questions, but it did feel like it was a great effort to them. I was a bit disappointed there weren't any hooks or anything on the walls for personal items you want with you at night
