Lovely club lounge

No food after 9.30, everywhere closed and no room service. Would be good to know this in advance.

We liked the location for easy access to Trains ,Pacifico,The main shopping complex . The breakfast buffet was excellent ,the view from our room was unforgettable and the bed was fantastic . We will definitely be back.

The only thing that we found fault with was the fact that a person to person booking service for the limousine bus service that is in your brochure was none existent, when we asked about booking a pick up from the hotel to Narita airport we were handed a piece of paper with a QR code to book it online . We could not access this as we only had in room internet connection by this time so we ended up getting a taxi to YCAT

Nice location near the Queen building, so if you need a convenient store, get the metro, post office or any sort of food, you don’t need to step out of the hotel. Room was big as i got the executive twin room. Room had a balcony which was super nice. Bathroom had tub and shower with massage jets, which could allow guests to have a private “onsen” experience.

To be honest, i m giving this an 8 because of the expectations. Considering that this is a 5* hotel, i was expecting a bit more. The place is advertised to have a spa/pool and there wasn’t (probably just because there s some works being done atm), I enquired about using the gym at 3pm and being told that it’s only available in the morning, i contacted the hotel via email and i got a “rude” (maybe because of the poor english spoken by the operator) answer about my enquires about the upgrades and no negotiation. Again, this is a “meh” just because it’s a 5* hotel in the marina and it s supposed to be top! I had a pleasant stay but for the money I could have stayed at the adjacent APA for a fraction of the price and probably have a similar experience.

Stellar view of the picturesque waterfront, the Ferris wheel, wonderful way to wake up each day and dreamy at night. Pleasant, thoughtful room design and layout, nice ambience, natural light and good memories of Yokohama Bay. Super convenient! Right after the train ride into Minatomirai, straight to the the hotel in minutes! Best shopping areas, eateries, attractions, views, a pleasant stroll away! The staff is excellent, truly accommodating, from the moment we walked in till the moment we left. Well designed, nice feng shui, loved having a little balcony.

The breakfast buffet was good. On the first day we were escorted to the best, most spacious table. On the second and third day we were escorted to a smaller table in a more crowded area. The maitre d directs the staff at the door and designates the table so I felt slightly ostracized. I don’t know how their seating system operates but I did feel there is some sort of discrimination but can’t quite put my finger on it. It’s hard to complain though, too many good things to point out. It was our last stop on a three week stay in Japan and honestly the best service of all the hotels we stayed at.

The staff spoke english very well and the room was cleaned daily. The hotel is positioned perfectly into Yokohama Bay and is 3 min away from the train station. They have also a scale at ground level so you can weigh your luggage before going to the airport.

You can't call a taxi in front of the hotel through the apps (it's a red zone) so you have to make your way to the street. Also the shuttle to the airport started way too late for my flight so I had to make other arrangements.

Great location with an amazing view of the lights at night. The room was very spacious, lots of room for a family of 3 and all our luggage. The buffet breakfast was good value. We also loved the way the staff interacted with our 4 year old. The little music box they gave him is a much treasured souvenir.

The pool was closed for maintenance while we were there. If I had known when I made the booking I would have booked somewhere else.

The room was very spacious and set out nicely. Bathroom was large and we liked that the toilet was separate, allowing separate usage. The bed was extremely comfortable. Cannot forget about the view! We faced the bay from a corner room on the 16th floor and had an incredible view of the city and all the amusement park lights. This was easily blocked out with the heavy curtains leaving our room pitch black when we were ready to sleep. We look forward to returning to Japan and extending our stay in this hotel to much longer than just one night.

There isn't much negative to say. The only slight issue I had was the shower head was getting on a bit and was difficult to change the sprayer to something softer as I was getting blasted when trying to wash my face. The interior may need a little TLC but really no big deal to us. All in all, it was an excellent room and great value for money.

The Keikyu airport limousine bus to and from Haneda Airport made stop at this hotel. Staff at check in were very polite and friendly. One feature that many hotels have discontinued is the bell service where they’ve cut back staffing. Glad to say that this hotel still assist delivering your luggage, and going over the room features and answering any questions. Picked up our luggage at checkout and held until airport bus arrived. Subway was within a 5-10 minute walk for us.

Yokohama Bay Hotel is ideally located for your last nights in Japan. There are some lovely walks along the bay side and really only about 15mins walk to the Red Brick Warehouse precinct on the bay where there are some interesting eateries and artisan shops. Of course there’s the Cup Noodle Museum and Fun Park with carnival rides, Ferris wheel etc for the kids. Underground malls and shopping precincts are connected to the hotel as well as a short walk to the train station and the Yokohama Art Gallery.

Breakfast down stairs is at times very crowded!

We had a lovely view of the Cosmo World lights from our room which was the biggest draw for staying here. Location was super convenient since you could explore all of the Minatomirai area on foot from the hotel, or take the train from Queens Square without ever needing to go outside of the hotel. Room was incredibly roomy and the beds were very comfortable. Bathroom was huge and had plentiful space for all your needs, also had a separate tub next to shower. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return soon!

No cons, we loved our stay!
