Surprisingly spacious room, lovely bathroom, all spotlessly clean and very conveniently located with train station literally metres away. Very comfortable bed with everything provided that you could need. Good range of amenities available at reception. Convenience store and restaurants within close walking distance. Convenient location for the international cruise terminal.

Some staff had very limited English but were very anxious to help. We managed with the aid of translation technology. Very limited storage/wardrobe space for suitcases or for unpacking into, which made living out of fold-open cases for 3 days a little challenging.

Superb amenities. I was already wowed by the options when I was there but now that I had stayed at different places, they really knocked it out of the park and outperformed a more expensive favorite hotel of mine in this department. The cleansing oil they gave was fantastic. I loved the sweet honey tea. And believe it or not, they had Halloween limited edition bath salt on top of other existing bath salt types. The working space is neat. Taller customers might face issues as the ceiling is on the lower side though. But overall it was more than comfortable.

The lower ceiling can give a slightly claustrophobic feel and less than adequately ventilation, that’s where the existing room & fabric freshener came in handy.

Loved everything about this hotel. Great reception welcome, room was spotlessly clean, had everything we needed, very comfortable bed and linen, breakfast was absolutely fantastic, great selection and choice and the maitre d staff member was fantastic, welcoming, friendly and obliging. The extra facilities on Level 2 are a fantastic bonus. Location of hotel suited us brilliantly for cruise terminal but also location is very good within Yokohama. Thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Yokohama.

Location was great for our group. We had 2 rooms for 4 people Like most hotel rooms in Japan, rooms are on the smaller side, but honestly, you should only be in your room for bathing and sleeping as what you have outside is what why you travelled to this location in the 1st place. Metro train really close and convenience stores everywhere. Shopping, tourist sites, restaurants are so close. We didn't have a breakfast option as you have so many options to eat around you, that allows you to experience the local breakfast options. Yokohama is a great city, and this hotel is a great option and truly value for money in my opinion.

I enjoyed my week long stay at Sotetsu Yokohama. Right at Basamichi station. Very convenient to Landmark Tower, Queens Towers, Mark s shopping. Near the Cosmo clock ferris wheel\roller coaster, cosmo play area, World Porters shopping, eating, games bulding. Plus the twin brick warehouses full of artisan stuff to buy ($$$). It was New Years, I spent the day at the nearby Bhuddist temple and Shinto shrine. All within a 20 to 25 minute walk from hotel. The walk along pier is scenic. Staff were very nice. Clean room, nice products. Plus they had coffee packets at front desk, along with a few fun beauty products. I love the waffle jammies.. pants and top. They met my request for room location very well.

I would have liked a bigger fridge and a microwave in the room for 7 nights. There was a microwave on the lobby floor, along with wash\dry machines. The pillows were big-hard, but they will loan you a tempur-pedic pillow when you ask. More shelves, and rails to hang stuff would be more comfortable.

- Easy self check-in but also a personal receiptionist 24hrs available. Room was very quiet and the windows kept out the sound of the main street. - We liked the breakfast and the babychair for our daughter. - The staff was very (kids-) friendly and gave us a good recommendation for a sushi restaurant on our request. - WiFi worked perfect for our app-based babyphone. - any kind of amenties and rental equipment were at the lobby available. - we were not affected by the construction work as announced during our stay.

The aircon in the room could have been more silent.

We recently stayed at this hotel and had a fantastic experience. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The bed was cozy, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and we appreciated the thoughtful touches like complimentary toiletries, and a well-stocked coffee/tea. The location was very convenient—close to shops, restaurants, and public transport. Staff were friendly and always happy to help with directions or suggestions on what to do nearby. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay and would definitely come back or recommend this hotel to others!

Rooms were a bit small as usual in Japan.

I always love staying at Sotetsu Fresa Inn! Incredibly helpful staff, making checking-in and checking-out super easy. Staff spoke English and provided great service throughout my entire stay. The hotel was in a great location, close to the train station and nearby attractions. It was super convenient having an on-site laundromat. The room was clean, and the bed was super comfy. The luggage storage was convenient and allowed me to explore Yokohama without the hassle of dragging my bags around with me upon arrival. Would definitely stay here again!

I couldn't have picked a better place to stay!! Location, location!! first of all, the bus transportation from the airport was perfect!! the stop was just across the street, a few feet from the corner which made it nice dragging our luggage. the subway entrance was right outside the entrance of the hotel which couldn't have been better than that!! the hotel was within walking distance to everything!! the malls, cruise terminals, china town and other attractions. the staff was so very friendly and accomodating especially with storing our 15 pieces of luggage until we could check in. one of the ladies at the front desk printed out the time schedule for the bus ride back to the airport!! I appreciated that sooo much!! The breakfast was great and delicious! They even have a little room for smokers which was brilliant and well thought of!! I would definitely return here, especially if embarking on a cruise!!

All was well staying here!! Nothing to dislike!

The staff were extremely helpful and patient in answering questions and arranging luggage forwarding to our next destination. The check in and check out process was smooth and efficient. Location to transportation and activities was excellent and the breakfast was very good with Japanese and Western options.

The air conditioning was a bit underpowered and the after flushing the water would run for an extended time beyond what was required for the job. The mattresses were a little hard but the room size was fine and it was quiet.
