Surprisingly spacious room, lovely bathroom, all spotlessly clean and very conveniently located with train station literally metres away. Very comfortable bed with everything provided that you could need. Good range of amenities available at reception. Convenience store and restaurants within close walking distance. Convenient location for the international cruise terminal.

Some staff had very limited English but were very anxious to help. We managed with the aid of translation technology. Very limited storage/wardrobe space for suitcases or for unpacking into, which made living out of fold-open cases for 3 days a little challenging.

Location was great for our group. We had 2 rooms for 4 people Like most hotel rooms in Japan, rooms are on the smaller side, but honestly, you should only be in your room for bathing and sleeping as what you have outside is what why you travelled to this location in the 1st place. Metro train really close and convenience stores everywhere. Shopping, tourist sites, restaurants are so close. We didn't have a breakfast option as you have so many options to eat around you, that allows you to experience the local breakfast options. Yokohama is a great city, and this hotel is a great option and truly value for money in my opinion.

I enjoyed my week long stay at Sotetsu Yokohama. Right at Basamichi station. Very convenient to Landmark Tower, Queens Towers, Mark s shopping. Near the Cosmo clock ferris wheel\roller coaster, cosmo play area, World Porters shopping, eating, games bulding. Plus the twin brick warehouses full of artisan stuff to buy ($$$). It was New Years, I spent the day at the nearby Bhuddist temple and Shinto shrine. All within a 20 to 25 minute walk from hotel. The walk along pier is scenic. Staff were very nice. Clean room, nice products. Plus they had coffee packets at front desk, along with a few fun beauty products. I love the waffle jammies.. pants and top. They met my request for room location very well.

I would have liked a bigger fridge and a microwave in the room for 7 nights. There was a microwave on the lobby floor, along with wash\dry machines. The pillows were big-hard, but they will loan you a tempur-pedic pillow when you ask. More shelves, and rails to hang stuff would be more comfortable.

We recently stayed at this hotel and had a fantastic experience. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The bed was cozy, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and we appreciated the thoughtful touches like complimentary toiletries, and a well-stocked coffee/tea. The location was very convenient—close to shops, restaurants, and public transport. Staff were friendly and always happy to help with directions or suggestions on what to do nearby. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay and would definitely come back or recommend this hotel to others!

Rooms were a bit small as usual in Japan.

- Easy self check-in but also a personal receiptionist 24hrs available. Room was very quiet and the windows kept out the sound of the main street. - We liked the breakfast and the babychair for our daughter. - The staff was very (kids-) friendly and gave us a good recommendation for a sushi restaurant on our request. - WiFi worked perfect for our app-based babyphone. - any kind of amenties and rental equipment were at the lobby available. - we were not affected by the construction work as announced during our stay.

The aircon in the room could have been more silent.

I always love staying at Sotetsu Fresa Inn! Incredibly helpful staff, making checking-in and checking-out super easy. Staff spoke English and provided great service throughout my entire stay. The hotel was in a great location, close to the train station and nearby attractions. It was super convenient having an on-site laundromat. The room was clean, and the bed was super comfy. The luggage storage was convenient and allowed me to explore Yokohama without the hassle of dragging my bags around with me upon arrival. Would definitely stay here again!

I couldn't have picked a better place to stay!! Location, location!! first of all, the bus transportation from the airport was perfect!! the stop was just across the street, a few feet from the corner which made it nice dragging our luggage. the subway entrance was right outside the entrance of the hotel which couldn't have been better than that!! the hotel was within walking distance to everything!! the malls, cruise terminals, china town and other attractions. the staff was so very friendly and accomodating especially with storing our 15 pieces of luggage until we could check in. one of the ladies at the front desk printed out the time schedule for the bus ride back to the airport!! I appreciated that sooo much!! The breakfast was great and delicious! They even have a little room for smokers which was brilliant and well thought of!! I would definitely return here, especially if embarking on a cruise!!

All was well staying here!! Nothing to dislike!

Exceptional location - Super close to Bashamichi Station with an exit right outside the hotel entrance (there was an elevator to the station too a little down the street which was convenient.) It was also a short walk to JR Sakuragicho Station and the shopping malls in the area. The neighbourhood is also quiet and there are three convenience stores nearby and in the station. The bathroom was very clean and TV had access to YouTube as well which was nice. The bed was very spacious for a single person room and the room had sufficient space for a solo traveller. They also had a bunch of free amenities on the lobby floor which was very kind of them.

The room was just a little cramped to open a suitcase in but it didn’t bother me that much.

The staff were very friendly, and made every effort to help us with all aspects of our trip. We got a small discount for the Yokohama air cabin. They also booked a taxi for my elderly grandparents. The hotel rooms don't come with excess amenities, but it is all available at reception so you can pick and choose what you want. I appreciated the efforts to reduce waste and be sustainable across the hotel.

As with most hotels, the bathroom steams up quickly and doesn't have great ventilation. Also the room was quite small, making it hard to find space for 2 suitcases. But we didn't spend much time in the room.

Easy check in on the second floor. The hotel is located by an intersection that can be a little confusing for taxi's/ubers. However, it is very centrally located and easy to walk to places. The breakfast buffet is delicious and has a nice variety of western and Japanese items. We only stayed one night before a cruise, but it was clean and comfortable. Just be aware that Japanese hotels generally have smaller rooms.

The hotel was doing some construction, but that was told to us ahead of time. The location is a little confusing for uber/taxi drivers.
