Utilities for everything. There is a 24/7 family mart convince store. It's not an exclusive expensive shop but the same prices you would find outside the hotel. They have wifi of course, lan and you can even cast video from your device to the tv in the room (airplay or google cast). There is a free hot spa in the hotel on the 4th floor which is great. There is even an outdoor bath. Note that it's a traditional Japanese spa so there is a bit of getting used to. Easy steps: 1. Find the robe in the hotel room and put it on with just underwear. Put a bath towel, face towel, your key card, and payment card/ credit card in a bag. 2. Go to the fourth floor and go into the respective male female bath using your card key. 2. Make sure you take off your shoes/slippers at the entrance. 3. Place the slippers in the slipper boxes. 4. Go to an empty locker, get butt naked but bring your face towel - put the key on your wrist. 5. it is IMPORTANT to wash your body before jumping into the baths so when you go into the bathing area, you will see washing booths. Sit down, get clean. Yes you can wet the face towel. 6. Once clean, wring your face towel and enter any hot pool. You can place the face towel on your head or just put it down on the side. 7. Once done just repeat the cleaning process and exit the bathing area. Dry your body, put on your clothes/robe and use the beauty seats to dry your hair, clean your ears etc. 8. Pick up your shoes/slippers and exit the bathing area. 9. Go into the family mart convenience store just outside the spa area and grab a beer, sour or choice of refreshing beverage and pay it with your payment card.(pasmo, suica also works) at the self serve check outs. 10. Return to your room and enjoy the drink, your clean spirit and body. - repeat as many times as you want.

Rooms are small

The location was great as it was near many sights, train, shopping and food areas. Able to get to Yokohama in a few stops with the subway nearby by walking. The view from the higher floor was great! Comes with a bathtub to be able to soak in daily, so that was a plus.

The entrance to the hotel reminded me of a casino, bright, crowded and overwhelming. The room reminded me of a cruise ship sized room, compact, not possible to have any luggage in anywhere but under the bed. Need to be "creative" to pack and unpack with an open luggage as the room was really small.

Very close to the metro station (Bashamichi), shops/malls, museums, parks and attractions. Has a konbini (Family Mart) and other restaurants directly in the hotel. The location is great with possibility of great view (bay/city).

Not enough laundry machines and dryers (4 of each) for that many rooms. Also that the above mentionned machines are situated in the onsen's dressing room and it may be uncomfortable for certain tourists to get to set their machine next to naked strangers. (Not a problem for me though, but I heard some echoes from friends.)

Check-in and check-out were easy at the machine. The location is ideal for walks through the city and near various restaurants, as well as the train station to Tokyo. Very clean and great spa (onsen) with washing and drying facilities on the 4th floor.

We had a room with three beds, which was extremely small. It was impossible to open large suitcases, and two people had to sit on the bed while doing so. Don't take the slippers provided with you to the spa; many people do, but ours were taken by someone who had forgotten where they had left theirs. You can take your own slippers with you, there are free lockers where you can store them.

The hotel is at less than 5 minutes walk from the metro station Bashamichi, making it very easy to reach Yokohama central station. Inside the hotel there are also restaurants and a minimarket which is helpful if you are short on time. The room had a minifridge and electric kettle which was very convenient as I could eat easly in my room if I needed to. The spa is open until late at night and was a great plus.

Single rooms are most probably meant for short stays and, while there is a coat hanger, there is no wardrobe. This may be inconvenient if one has a lot of luggage.

Location was relaxing and beautiful, as it was alongside a river where you could take a stroll at night and see the Cosmo Clock lit up. The happy noises from the amusement park also lend a very unique charm. The view of the harbor was just stunning. You could just watch the harbor all day long! All the APA hotels I've stayed at have the beautiful orange and crystal chandeliers and dark walls. You just don't expect this very pretty look at a hotel chain. The staff was nice, too, and helped me check in.

The chair upholstery in the room could have been cleaned. They could give you a fresh bottle of water every day.

The view from the room was astounding, especially for the price! I was lucky to see a firework & drone show right outside the window over the bay ❤︎

It's very busy during check-in time, the staff are helpful but clearly under pressure.

Amenities are in good quality. Location is not very close to metro but in an okay distance. I arrived in a heavy rain night so the first walk was terrible, I was all wet. But after that day there’s no rain the walking distance is fine for me. Two convenience store inside of the hotel, this is very good. And bed is comfortable.

Room size is small, bathroom has a stair(higher than average step) so it’s not very comfortable. I heard some noises during my stay so I guess the sound proof isn’t very good. Also checkin is a little slow because I have to do it by myself and staff was not very helpful if I tried and failed several times without ask. Though I got help after asking for it, I thought it would be better to offer help. Washing machine takes 500 yen per use, and I have to spend 200(1 hr) to dry my 5 T-shirts because spending the first 100 yen for 0.5hr, clothes are not dry enough.

Great location, I walked there from Yokohama station in about 10-15 mins with my big luggage. This hotel is packed and it's huge. Many locals seems to come for the onsen and pool areas. There was probably 10+ self check in counters and they were busy. Staff was friendly to help in English. Nice walking distance or easy to grab busses from nearby to many nice places. Great restaurants, shopping mall etc. nearby. I stayed on a too floor, and despite of the common tint room, my view was amazing from up there.

Despite many elevators they were very busy during specific hours, especially due to people going onsen on the 4th floor.

APA Hotel & Resort Yokohama Bay Tower was in an interesting part of Yokohama and it wasn't far from the nearest station to get around. I also enjoyed being near the bay with restaurants like Bills was which has a fabulous breakfast and coffee. The onsite Brewery restaurant was excellent too. The spa facility was very good and free for guests. Splendid views over the harbour from on high in a comfortable room and bed made the stay enjoyable. Great value for money.

At 14 square metres, the room was the smallest I stayed in during my time in Japan. It was a little tight and probably would be moreso for two people. But the space was well-designed and had everything you needed, including a magnificent view, so it was not a big issue if you are mainly out exploring, as most of us are when visiting.
