Exceptionally clean property and very close to the local train station and bus loop. It’s exactly as described - a sleeping room only :)

The air conditioners are linked to other parts of the house which meant we couldn’t easily adjust to our liking but we just turned it off in our room and was still warm for winter

This guesthouse brands itself as a no-frills accommodation option for the budget conscious. While it's true that this accommodation is one of the most affordable options within a short walk from Kanazawa Station, the service provided exceeded expectations. I cannot speak highly enough of the staff team supporting the accommodation. They were sensitive, accommodating, welcoming, and responsive to queries and support requests, making our stay enjoyable and hassle-free. After a long day of sightseeing and exploring, returning to the guesthouse was a pleasant experience. It provided a space to have a hot shower, do laundry, and then settle into bed. The house is just behind a Family Mart and there are a few restaurants in the neighborhood. We mainly patronized the Family Mart and enjoyed having hot meals / coffee in the sit-down area there. There is a homely vibe to the guesthouse and as other reviewers have pointed out, clean and well stocked with toiletries, fresh towels.

This is a guesthouse and not a hotel. Guesthouses offer a different experience. So if you prefer not sharing facilities, and interacting with other travelers or looking to stay in all day then this may not be suitable for you.

You do have bo contact with staff , all is per mail or whatsapp. Very narrow bedroom even 3 in a room of 4 is complicated. You have to keep that in mind.

Shower units were spacious. The two washmachines and dryers were very convenient. The staff sent us updates for activities for hot days and other information which was very nice.

The room was very small which was ok because it was advertised as such but the bed frame was very annoying because it made sitting down on the lower bed basically impossible.

The place has all you need and is close to the station and not far away from the highlights of the city. Super clean, new and well mantained. Though only there for a couple of hours the host is very nice person

As said, the room is extremely small, though it has a well equiped common kitchen downstairs. If you are there for one of a couple of nights is a excelent choice for the price

We stayed at this lovely guest house in Kanazawa and we couldn’t be happier. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, always ready to help with anything we needed. The facilities were clean, comfortable, and cozy, making our stay even more enjoyable. We definitely recommend this place and hope to return soon. The guest were so loud and disrespectful, when we checked out, they put in place a time schedule for the shower, I don’t know if it was because people took shower for too long or too late or what but I don’t like the idea of being timed when I’m on vacation

Well equipped but small kitchen. Very organised processes re: allocating time for showers etc. Washer and drier. Rooms as small as advertised, and we luckily had the kitchen to ourselves to cook, but it would be difficult if anyone else cooking at the same time.

Needed another basin upstairs, if someone using basin, nowhere else to wash hands after using the toilet.

This guesthouse is a great value : the facilities are very clean, the location is just a 20 min walk from main attractions, and only 5 min walk from the station (we visited everything by foot in Kanazawa). Our room had one bunk bed. The beds were comfortable. The room is small but I had room to stow my backpack in the corner and my friend stowed her suitcase under the bed. We were welcomed by the staff who was very friendly and welcoming. This guesthouse matched our expectations because we spent all day outside and only cooked a few meals in the kitchen. We did not need spacious accommodation.

There you will experience life in a tiny house. Everything is clean. The staff is really welcoming and nice. Everything is explained (how to use the laundry machine, how to use the kitchen area...). The location next the station is perfect.

The bottom bunk beds have also guardrails which made them difficult/painful to extract from for people over 40.
