Services are fantastic. Onsen is great, delicious and good range at breakfast. Location is perfect though near the station it is on a quiet road. Hotel room is new and spacious. Staff are courteous and helpful. I am very satisfied with the offerings.

Great location: - The hotel is less than a 5 minutes walk to the train station which allows you to have easy access to the city loopbus which brings you to all sights spots in the city. - Otherwise it's about a 10 minute walk to the city center with multiple convenience stores around the corners. - The front desk agents go out of their way to assist you. When we asked about the luggage forwarding service, they contacted our next hotel in advance, confirmed the reservation and completed all the paperwork for us. The following day all we had to do was bring our suitcases to the front desk and we received our proof of postage/receipt. This allowed us to experience a last visit to the local market before catching our next train.

The location was excellent- just a few blocks from the train station. The hotel itself is beautiful and has a nice public bath (separated by gender). Our room was a great fit for our family of 4 (2 teens). The room is very big and the "bunk beds" are tucked away and very private for them. The staff was SO helpful! When we arrived to Kanzawa, had lost/left a train ticket on the train, and therefore had to buy a new ticket (8500yen) in order to leave the station. We asked at the desk if they could help us by calling JR to see if the ticket could be found and retrieved on the train. The next day, the front desk emailed us that the ticket was FOUND and sent to the Lost and Found office at the station. We retrieved it and got our money back! Thank you again!

The staff at the Torifito is absolutely incredible, they are always polite and eager to help and make you have a good time. They helped with my luggage shipment in an outstanding way. They are great people. The room is large (for Japanese standards) and very comfortable, even for a 1.90m tall person. The bed was super comfy, and the pillow they provided was probably the best one I have ever tried. They provided toiletries and the bathroom was excellent. Shampoo and shower gel with lovely perfumes and great washlet with heated seat and adjustable bidet direction. I didn't make use of it, but they also offer a public bath and a washing room The position is perfect for anyone staying in Kanazawa, within walking distance of many attractions and right next to the main station for anything else. If you are in Kanazawa do yourself a favour and stay at the Torifito. The room price is also incredibly inexpensive for what they offer.

Excellent breakfast buffet (best I've had in Japan for this price range), nicely designed room that feels clean and well lit. The beds and pillows are very cozy and I loved the free cleaning service, too. There is a small fridge where you can store your food and drink, so if you want to heat up anything, you can go to 4F and use the microwave/ mini oven. There is also a drink vending machine there, free ice cubes and plastic cutlery for your convenience.

The room feels a bit small if you travel with another person, but it is perfect if you travel solo.

What a wonderful surprise the Hotel Torifito Kanazawa was! The exterior of the hotel is quite unassuming; however, it opens into a spacious lobby with a very pleasant welcoming staff. The room was spacious with comfortable mattresses and super bathroom. The big surprise was the wonderful breakfast buffet with so many choices, and delicious Kanazawa curry! Breakfast is served in a large, sunny, cheerful room off the lobby. I must add that this was our least expensive hotel in Japan, yet definitely one of my top favorites!

We had a bit of trouble first finding the hotel, so possibly add directions from the train station. Once we figured out how to navigate to the hotel, it was close and an easy walk to the JR Kanazawa train station.

The staff service was excellent. They were patient and friendly and helped arrange luggage forwarding very quickly and efficiently. The rooms were a bit small but the hotel was very modern and clean. It was within walking distance to the station but do bare in mind you need roughly ~20 mins of walking to get to the samurai district / castle park. There are public transport options close by though :) which is handy and I wouldn’t say the location is a deal breaker. Lovely temple located right across the road. Overall a good experience and we appreciate that the staff held our bags after we had already checked out so we could go out exploring. Thank you :)

1. We spent a little more than NT$2,000 to book this hotel. Breakfast is included. It’s really a great deal. 2. The overall style is great. The attitude and professionalism of the service staff are excellent. 3. The location is great. Not far from the station. It can be reached within 3 minutes. 4. There is a hot spring bath where you can take a dip. It is very clean and comfortable. 5. Finally, I have to say that the breakfast was just like the photos provided on the website. It was really rich, diverse and fresh. After eating breakfast, I felt very happy. It was really worth it.

Sadly when we arrived in Kanazawa the weather is so bad, very windy and heavy rainy and cold. Basically you cannot go out to explore anything. I was upset about it. But the hotel gave us an early-check-in which is super nice in a rainy cold weather. The staff is very helpful and can communicate in English well. Everywhere is well organized and clean. I must mentioned about the hot bath in the hotel is amazing. It is separated by male and female, super clean and big. In female public bath they also provide locker, hair dryer, Curling iron, shampoo, hair conditioner, face wash, lotion for you to use freely. Totally beyond my expectation!!! I will high recommend to anyone visit this city to choose this hotel.

We booked a standard double room via Booking, 10th floor. The location is good, breakfast was excellent and staff was kind. The room was comfortable, small (15 sqm) but OK for Japan standards. The onsen was busy during the evening, but it was good that we were able to check how crowd it was via the TV service. Overall I'd recommend the hotel.

During our 4 nights stay, the hotel had large tourist groups. Because of this, the breakfast was busier at times (I think because they follow a schedule, so a lot of people have their breakfast around the same time). To make breakfast better, maybe the hotel could consider adding one more coffee machine as the queue gets long.
