Close to Kanazawa train station, the building does look a little old, and to be fair the whole hotel does appear dated - but do not be put off by this!! It is wonderfully located and comfortable. Including breakfast when making the booking is a great idea as it starts off the day perfectly, definitely giving you the energy for all the activities you'll be taking on for the day. Unfortunately, I did end up getting sick whilst in Kanazawa. Staff were lovely making sure I was okay. Travelling with my father, he was able to bring up some food from breakfast for me (I didn't want to go down to make others sick).

Good location, right in front of the train station. From there is walkable distance to everywhere to visit in Kanazawa, max 30min walk to 40min. They give amenieties. Room enough for 2 average size persons with 2 bagpacks cabin size and 2 suitcases medium size. Good breakfast but less western options. Be aware that probably due to reducing leftovers they may not replace some foods (good and bad point i Guess)

Hotel with some years could use some renovations maybe

The hotel was VERY close to the main train station which was very convenient. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was excellent as well. Everything was really clean and well mantained. We really enjoyed the breakafst too.

The staff didn't speak a lot of English which was difficult at times. We usually rely on the hotel staff when we go somewhere we don't speak the language to help us navigate the city and the communication was very stilted as they didn't speak enough English.

Excellent hotel. It's literally right outside the train station, so no problems having to get connections. The hotel was spotlessly clean and is well decorated and really well presented when you walk in. I would be expecting to pay around £150+ for a hotel like this in London. The staff were very friendly and polite and the breakfasts were really good too, with a good variety. All in all, it was a really nice hotel that I'd definitely recommend to anyone reading this.

The close proximity to Kanazawa Station was very helpful! Also, the included buffet breakfast catered for Western and non-Western eating styles.

The property was very likeable! The only thing I would note is that for a hotel that says that the staff speak English, it was very basic and we still had to use Google translate for check-in and recommendations (which of course isn’t a problem because we still communicated, but we just didn’t know enough Japanese to try communicate otherwise).

The location is excellent which is right in front of JR Kanazawa station where there are so many shops & eateries that you can shop & eat without any problem. Also , bus terminal is 2 minutes walking distance away from the hotel where you can take most city buses to anywhere of the city. The famous Omicho market of Kanazawa is only one bus stop away where you can enjoy many varieties of fresh sea foods from local areas.

A little disappointment that it doesn't have a local onsen which I can enjoy around the hotel vicinities .

Excellent hotel for a great price, yet with breakfast included and it was pretty good. Just steps from the train station. Staff was very helpful even with a request clearly outside of their responsibilities (we didn't need to use the favor at the end but that was really nice of them). And the breakfast was pretty good.

Maybe just a tad noisier than we'd like to, but that's just because the location and really not a concern.

Loved the location and the breakfast. Loved the fact that we could walk to the Gardens and Castle through the Omicho markets. Enjoyed Okinomiyaki and craft beer at the markets on the way back to the Hotel.

I dislike the bed being right up against a wall so there isn't easy access from either side but this seems to be normal thing in Japanese hotels.

I really enjoyed staying at a hotel only 2mins away from the train station & bus terminus for my 1 Day Loop bus pass. Plenty of food options around the train station. Check in is 3pm & it was not a problem to have my suitcase secured. My single room was compact but everything worked just fine. Met my needs 100%. The price/performance ration offers good value.

Prime location with great old style service. But facilities and rooms are a bit out-dated. The lovely buffet breakfast makes it all up - full of options and with Japanese traditional breakfast food too.

The quilts are lined with sheets only, not the quilt covers. Kids who sleeps moving a lot can find it hard to keep quilt in place and become messy quickly.
