Fantastic location, I cannot stress enough how wonderful it was to have it so close to Kanazawa Station. The rooms were very clean, and the showers provided had baskets to bring clothes with you in. Towels are changed daily which is greatly appreciated. The common area is what one has to pass through to get to the rooms which I prefer as you can soeak to a lot of people that way. Also the lady at reception desk is extremely cute with the alt style. Staff are very helpful to the fact that they know there is no elevator and are willing to assist in bringing the luggage up for you (please ask nicely as luggage can be heavy to bring up three flights of stairs). To add onto that, I had lost my wallet and between the police and the staff of the hostel, they were able to deliver it to the hostel and provide a date and time for me to collect it, and were able to provide feedback where there was a delay in delivery, which was extremely appreciated.There is a map of the immediate area that shows the best restaurants, cheap laundry, places to drink etc which is extremely helpful (especially if you want to try something new or rather eat cheap you can see options).

It does say there is no elevator, please be aware of this. It is on the third floor.

Highly recommend the single bed in the female dormitory as it provides more privacy and since there's a door that separates it from the common area, it's quiet as well. During our stay, they provide Muji face wash, and superfood lab body wash, shampoo and conditioner which smells lovely. The female dorm also has their own common area, a toilet and shower. The mattress is thick and cozy, with fluffy comforter to compliment the bed. As it's not a double decker, the bed space is spacious with plenty of space to put your personal belongings, and you can even stand up comfortably. Location is excellent, just a short walk to Kanazawa station, with 2 family marts just around the block. The price is very reasonable. There are 2 family mart nearby as well. Hot water, coffee powder and tea are provided. Check in and check out are hassle free and communicated effectively via bookings messaging.

Do note that the hostel is located on the third floor and has no elevator which is not a problem for me but people with huge ass luggage should reconsider.

Hostel was really lovely, one of the nicest hostels I've stayed in Japan which is saying something. Great location. Beds were comfy, super clean, the entire place looked really cute and cozy, very nice atmosphere. The toiletries all provided, even skincare products from MUJI. Free coffee and tea, you can make your own drip coffee in the morning, super nice! 11/10 for service: when I discovered that my lock on the bedside cabinet was broken and I contacted the hostel on booking, less than an hour later the receptionist was on it, the lock was changed. Super fast and efficient service.

Beds and space are spacious and comfortable, a lot of space for luggage under the bed or next to it. Curtains for privacy. Bathrooms really clean, with all the basic amenities. Towels changed every day. It was fantastic. The location too, the bus left us 50 meters away from the entrance, super convenient. The traun estación is luke 2 blocks away I'll come back to the same place for sure No staff around only someone cleaning after check out time. There're some snacks and essentials you can buy at the hostel(self-service only cash). Everything was super easy and convenient. My stay was short but I wish it was longer.

Nothing bad but a warning to other future guests there's NO elevator and its 2 floors up stairs. So careful if you have too much luggage or if you have issues with stairs.

Perfect location with a 3 minute walk to the train station and bus circle. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and the facilities were very tidy and homely with a comfortable, relaxed feel. The shower is powerful, the wifi was reliable, and there was a bookshelf for guests, as well as a map showing nearby amenities, bath houses, and a google maps qr code of restaurant put together by staff and other guests! There is free tea and drip coffee for all guests, fresh towels are given daily, and there is a snacks and drinks shelf located in the reception with an honesty box system. We travelled as a group of four and were all able to get beds next to each other, which was great. The beds are long and very comfortable, meaning even the tallest in our group (6ft+) was able to sleep well. There is also a female only dormitory with a locked code door for extra comfort, which is very nice. We wish we could have stayed longer!!!! If we ever return to Kanazawa, we will absolutely be coming back.

If you are looking for a very social space, this may not be for you. While there were times when we spoke to other guests and enjoyed their company, it was a quieter relaxed energy. It is on the 3rd floor with only stair access. While it is a short flight of stairs and very manageable, even with luggage, if you are physically impaired, this may not be an ideal place for you.

The capsule concept, capsule was much bigger, had lockers, privacy curtains, free coffee and tea, views from the common lounge where I could enjoy the snow falling during my stay, very close to Kanazawa station and extremely good value for money. It will definitely be on top of my list when I re visit Kanazawa. Not forgetting the staff who kept the place running in tip top condition. This review from someone who travels a lot, but hardly gave reviews.

The location is perfect as when you come straight out if the station its only 5mins walk. Great place to base yourself. Very clean and got fresh towel everyday during my 7 night stay with free hot drinks and snacks/cold drinks available to purchase.

Staff not always visible. When they were there they weren't overly keen to speak . The hostel could get very noisey with people checking out very early or late with little regards to other guest and packing and unpacking using the hairdryers and laundry facilities like they weren't in a shared dorm. Kitchen facilities limited to a griller, microwave and small fridge freezer.

The place was amazing. Very bright, close to the station and lots of amenities. They even have a big map on the wall with recommendations! The "room" was very spacious and the bed was great. they provide slippers for you! They also change the towel everyday and have a shelf with some food/drinks/snacks in case you crave something late at night and don't want to head out to the combini. Stayed both in the female and the mix gender dormitories since I had a problem with the dates, but they changed it for me without a penalty. Very grateful!

Maybe the fact that is located on the 3rd floor with no elevator

The guesthouse is new with nice view looking out to the train station and main road with good sound proofing. They provide free tea and coffee. So I packed my food from convenient store and enjoyed my dinner on the bar table. Dorm bed is spacious and guests can lock their stuff in the wooden box beside own bed. The staff were kind in helping me to call my previous hotel for retrieving and shipping the charger I accidentally left. They were also very knowledgeable in recommending where to shop. There is a big map at lobby with info of good restaurants and onsen in Kanazawa.

Do note there is no lift and the guesthouse is located on level 3. Even I have no issue with that, I met guests coming with elderly persons who were unaware and bit upset that they need to walk-up the staircases.

They had some free coffee and tea, and the lounge was perfect to ease in after a long day of only walking. The place was also directly down from Kanazawa station, making it convenient to access the general Kanazawa area!

A minor issue that IS mentioned within the book listing, it is important to remember that this hostel has no elevator. It was not a deal breaker for me and I did not mind. Otherwise an excellent hostel to stay at!
