I could upgrade my room to a bigger room for free. Many hotel rooms in Tokyo for this price are so tiny that you cannot open a suitcase, but this room was just big enough to open a suitcase. The weather was really hot, so I appreciated that there were two free water bottles. The hotel located just a few minutes by foot to the train stations, convenience store, restaurants, and many other stores. It is right next to a cool Shinto shrine. The receptionists were kind.

Some of the Apa Hotel have large shared bathrooms with hot spring, but this hotel doesn't have it. There are two Apa Hotel around Keikyu Kamata Station and two more Apa Hotel around JR Kamata Station, so don't get confused!

The room was very clean, they provided us with water, pyjamas, toothbrush, hairbrush so basically everything we needed. It was relatively close to the airport which was what we needed. The room was very silent and the bed very comfortable. Also, the check in staff was very nice. Be aware that the check out hour needs to be respected otherwise they will charge you (we weren't charged for being 2 minutes late but just keep that in mind).

Like most of the APA hotels, the room was small, so for us to open 2 large suitcases, we would block the door. But, we knew this is how it was going to be and honestly the hotel was so nice that it didn't bother us this much.

Very close to a train station. The room was comfortable. Strong internet. The staff allowed me to store my luggage after I checked out for a few hours. The staff also helped with local restaurants and recommendations.

Though the small room was small, it was everything I needed. The hotel was recently rebranded as an APA Hotel but Google Maps didn't show the property as APA, it was something else. It was a little difficult to find, A suggestion to the hotel staff is to maybe update the information so guests know how to locate the hotel faster. The name of the hotel didn't match with Google Maps.

the hotel is a few steps away from the train station,there is a donki store right up that train station, there's 2 seven eleven stores,a couple of restaurants few steps away from the hotel,also there is a huge store for fresh veggies and fruits and cakes and pre-packed food just right under the station, the staff was very very nice and friendly and actually most of them spoke well English, they helped me deliver my bags to the airport and there is two vending machines inside the hotel if you needed something quick,the room and bathroom were clean also there's a playground right infront of one of the hotel gates which made me feel really safe with many children and families really close by,put in mind they do the room cleaning and changing of sheets every three days but they provide you with all necessities daily, it was a really nice stay

the pillow is really hard i struggled with it but i think all the pillows in Japanese hotels are like this? I'm not sure but i had the same struggle in osaka so maybe they all use the same kind of pillow? anyway if you are someone that gets neck pain a lot or have health issues in your vertebrae put it in mind

The location is great for anyone travelling to/from Haneda. In the limited express, it is generally just one stop (from, at least) and only about half a block from.the station's west exit. The hotel was quiet and restful for us, so recovering from jetlag should be easy at this hotel. Getting into the city is very easy on the subway. No need for a cab.

I was quite happy! The staff even printed my boarding pass on request, which was great!

There was everything you need. Refrigerator, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, hair dryer, laundrette, wifi, disposable wash cloth, brush, razor toothbrush etc. Towel is changed daily. It was clean and great location. I lived in Kamata before and I know it is convenient to travel to major touristy areas such as Kamakura , Asakusa, and also convenient to travel to central Tokyo and both Narita Airport and Haneda airport. Staff were excellent also. Great value for money.

Slippers looked old. They can provide disposable slipper lining sheets to stick on existing slippers, if not switching to disposable paper slippers)

The hotel is just strategically located. It takes less than 3mins walk to the hotel once you get out from the KeiKyu train station. If you landed in Haneda airport KeiKyu line will be the most convenient and direct line to reach, no interchange station or other train line needed. The hotel provides bathroom utilities such as toothbrush, comb, bath towel, shaver, cotton bud comb and the yukata, all you need is to pick them up from the lobby before entering the lift. The room is well prepared and with all you needs, from TV, mini fridge, working table with lamp, note pad, cups, green tea pack, slippers, hangers, bathroom attached with bathtub, toilet paper, hairdryer, shower gel + conditioner and even the clothes deodorant spray (especially after meal or smoking). The hotel do provides water dispenser and microwave oven at the lobby, so feel free to check it out. The bed is so so comfy which i could immediately shut down once lying there, you can also make use of the built in bedside alarm clock instead of relying on your mobile just to avoid the time zone difference. Aside, you can easily get access to food whether is in the morning or at night, as there is food street (family mart is the most obvious at the corner) which you will for sure seeing in when exiting from keikyu station. There is also this onigiri shop selling nice and big portion of onigiri with less than a minute of walking from the hotel. So overall, we love our stay here.

The only thing is just the size of the room. But its definitely sufficient for single traveller or couple stay. Unless you're having extremely huge size of luggage, otherwise, you should not have issue in unzipped your luggage. Its just fit nicely without additional space left (Hahaha).

Very useful location for reaching Haneda airport. Keikju Kamata station is just around the corner. Very helpful and friendly staff. One room (we had 2) was bigger than expected and very comfortable with much storage space for luggage. The other was a bit smaller (more the usual size for a Jap. business hotel).

The bed we had was 1.40m wide only. I think 1.60m would have fitted there, too. But comfortable it was indeed.

Its APA so there should be no bad reviews unless we are talking about the man hiding under the bed issue . I have been to more than 8 APA branches and all of them met my expectation. Moreover 2 or 3 /konbini are just around the corner so its very convenient.

Free parking will be better but yes i know japan is so well known for its space issue but still just my two cents.

Helpful, friendly people. Hotel was closer to the station than expected, which was helpful with heavy bags.

East-facing window had curtains which didn't fully block the sunlight, which made it rather bright in the morning.
