Fantastically convenient location surrounded by amazing food, cafes and shops and close to the harbour and other attractions; very comfortable room; friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is just a few minutes's walk to Nankin-machi (Chinatown), which is very lively and full of fantastic, cheap and delicious food. There are also plenty of restaurants and shops in the area, including "Bakery RIKI" just around the corner which does the most amazing pastries. The hotel is about 10 minutes' walk from Sannomiya, the main bar and entertainment area, or is one stop away on the nearby train. The Kobe port and harbour area is about 10 minutes' walk in the opposite direction. The room was very clean and pleasant, staff were lovely and helpful, the hotel had bicycles for guests to use and guests could request a late checkout or take advantage of luggage storage. Highly recommended.

The location is convenient. Near Chinatown and Sannomiya. There is a family mart opposite the hotel. It is also about just 10 mins drive to Harborland / Mosaic

There was a miscommunication about the parking. We were charged 2000 yen per night and were not told we were not supposed to move our car out at all until they placed a card on our card the second day to inform us. They almost wanted to charge us extra but didn’t as they realized due to language barrier, it was a miscommunication

The location is good. It’s easy to walk to Kobe Arena. The staff were really nice. The surrounding seems to be safe for walking at night.

The air conditioner seems old. It made noise at times and the room was a bit hot sometimes. However, I did not ask the staff for help because we stayed only 2 nights and we came back to the hotel very late every night.

Very clean, efficient staff and very nice family room that was fairly big for the four of us. Location seemed very good though we only stayed one night. Breakfast was really good and nice staff. Only negative was that they wouldn’t reserve a table for me at a restaurant - never understand why you wouldn’t in a customer service environment, and I’d rarely ask but the language barrier stopped me from doing it plus only data on my phone.

This is a little nicer than the standard business hotel offering in Japan. It is clean and confortable as you would expect but it had the odd extra touch that was nice. The room was a little larger than some (although still small by European standards), and that includes the bath as well as the bedroom, and I liked the drip coffee machine rather than the normal Nescafe offering. It also has quite a lot of ammenities on offer such as bikes to rent. I didn't use any of these, but I can see that could be a nice option.

Oddly there was no green tea option in the room, and I couldn't find a way to turn off the heated toilet seat. Neither is a huge deal and it is quite possible that both were easily fixable if my Japanese were a little better. I also had trouble finding the hotel since it isn't on the main road. Not an issue if you have a map on your phone (that's what I did eventually) or are more skilled at map reading than me.

The staff was warm and patient, I felt very welcome. Each time I went out or came back, they would say "have a good day" or "welcome back". This might sound silly, but I have a small teddy bear, and the cleaning staff tucked it in with so much care when they did my bed. These little things really made my day. I've been travelling alone for a long time, and this hotel made me feel cared for. Other than that, the room was clean, spatious, the beds comfortable, the decoration luminous, and everything I needed was there.

Some progress could be made in the dusting of the floors, mostly under the beds. It's true that there is some pink mold in the bathroom. Still nothing shocked me and the sink, toilet and bathtub were very clean. If they could take care of these small things, everything would be perfect.

Convenient location close to station and china town and a short walk to Meriken park. Staff were very helpful and knew enough English to help us at check in. We left our luggage at the hotel before we checked in. Missed out on buffet breakfast but we still went to have lunch there instead and it was really good.

The location is very good - close to Motomachi train station, Chinatown, bay. In spite of that, it was quite silent place. The staff was always available and extremely helpful. They kept our luggage while we were in Kyoto. We enjoyed the possibility of laundry.

The room was extremely small. We were three of us, so the third bed covered all the free space. As there were no wardrobe or shelves, it was not convenient to navigate in the open luggage below the table... If you are two, not three in the same room, it should be much more comfortable.

Good rooms, sturdy beds, a lot of room for a Japanese hotel. Staff is very helpful and respectful. Ammendities were always replenished. Housekeeping was excellent.

Stains on one of the beds, presumably from earlier guests treading with muddy shoes on the sheets. The room was otherwise clean tho.

The personnel is really nice and there are lots of free amenities in the hotel. I didn't spend much time here as I was in-and-out most of the time, but it was comfortable and had a good night sleep, too! :-)

The bathroom is a bit tiny and it was a bit swaying for me. I'm not sure if there was a mini-quake or it was just too claustrophobic, but that was a bit uncomfortable. A good way to save up on water! :-D Unrelated to the hotel: unfortunately the iconic Kobe port tower was under renovation during my stay. :_(
