The host was incredibly kind and responsive, and the high ceilings gave the place a museum-like atmosphere—it was simply wonderful. The original elements and the renovated parts blended beautifully, and everything from the furniture to the small decor items was tastefully selected. One of the reasons I chose this place was the bathroom, and just like in the photos, it was amazing and very relaxing. Next time I come to Japan, I definitely want to stay for at least two nights.

The room was wonderful! There was a lot of space and the beds were really comfortable. I also felt like the blankets were nice and the room's AC was really good too. It was such a comfortable stay and in such a convenient location, too. It's really close to the station. Also, my partner and I were able to do early luggage drop-off before we checked in which was really convenient. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this place.

I think the room didn't have a hairdryer and maybe the pillows were a bit more firm than I prefer. Also, maybe the blinds behind the bed were a bit dusty and the sides of the blinds let some light into the room, but those are the only things I can think of that were cons. Everything else was great!

Good location

Slightly troublesome for those driving a slightly bigger vehicle as parking is abit far away from hotel itself. No such issue if your car is small. Would prefer more information on parking to be given when booking has been confirmed. Only found out the parking issue when we arrived at the hotel.

I like the location and the general cleanliness of the rooms and bathrooms. The staff were helpful and welcoming. I was not able to try it for myself, but my colleagues told me they were satisfied with breakfast. The hotel is in good location for checking out the Kobe Earthquake Memorial and Kobe Port, which are just 10 minutes away by foot from the hotel. There are a lot of food shops nearby; the shopping center, and China Town was just 1 block behind the hotel. I regret that I was not able to explore them until the last day because I had to leave very early in the mornings for my meetings.

There are no windows and I was not able to see any view despite staying on the top floor. I was not able to watch English news on TV; no bilingual option on the remote.

The hotel was well situated close to many kinds of restaurants and food shops. Kobe Chinatown and Daimaru, as well as a shopping arcade are just one block away behind the hotel. It is very close to the JR and Hanshin train stations, making it convenient for daily commute to the meeting location. It is also very close to Kobe-Sannomiya station which can be reached by foot as alternative to commuting by train. The breakfast was delicious and filling, with several choices in addition to set meal. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. The facilities are well-kept and clean. The hotel is also a walking distance to the Kobe Port and the earthquake memorial park and well-connected to many other tourist destinations like the Himeji castle, Kyoto, Osaka and earthquake museum.

The rooms where we stayed did not have windows. The rooms are too small for a double bed and there is not much space to move around, especially for two people.

Hotel was across the road from train station and the location was amazing. Just a short walk to Kobe Port, Chinatown, shops and cafes and restaurants. The room size was large compared to others I’ve stated in.

The bed was too hard for my liking and the pillows were extremely hard - I had to buy myself a softer one. I didn’t ask staff if there were any others available.

it’s an up to date hotel, reasonably priced ands at a perfect location. the design and colors of the rooms is modern. compared to other, similar hotel chains, rooms and facilities like the bathroom are up to date. the staff is very kind and helpful. also they offer free coffee and even ice cream and beverages at times. all rooms are non smoking, but there is a smoking room, which is kept very clean.

Great hotel, value for money! Best location, just crossing the street from JR-Motomachi Station Exit, and very short walk to Sannomiya Station/where you can catch the train to the Kobe Airport. Everything looked new and clean. Well managed and staff was very friendly. Generous breakfast with choice of Japanese or western food, worth paying an extra fee. The 3F lounge was very nice w/free coffee and comfortable sitting area. You can check from your room/TV monitor if Laundry (Wash/dry/detergent included) is free to use, very helpful detail.

This is a good hotel. It is clean and well-managed. The personnel were friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for easy travel and sightseeing. There are many restaurants and bars close to the hotel, as well as Chinatown and Walking Street. The hotel is a stone's throw from Motomachi train station. The bed was comfortable, and the AC worked very well. The room overlooked the back of buildings and shops, but it didn't bother me. I liked the free coffee-making machine in the shared lounge and access to various reading materials. I would stay again.
