1) Convenient: Near to bus and various train station lines within 5 to 10mins walk. Near to shopping areas and various eateries. Nearby 7-11 and lawson konbini. The hotel is at the "quiet" south side of Sannomiya station which is good, as compared to the northern area where it can get pretty busy/noisy. 2) Room: Clean and modern rooms with the necessary amenities. Room comes with a phone charger-cable and a microwave oven! 3) Breakfast at Level 2 Kitchen Salvatore Cuomo. We stayed for 8 nights and I must say the food quality are one of the better ones we had even though the spread are not huge per se. The menu are pretty much the same every day but didn't get too sick of it which is a good sign haha. The only item that only served every alternate days was the beef tendon - yummy! The breakfast crowd can get rather busy during weekends, especially around 8am-8:30am. 4) Wifi: Pretty consistent through our stay 5) Price: On the higher side of our budget. Unfortunately it is hard to get triple or bigger rooms in Kobe area.

The room was nice and very clean. I like the layout of the room, with a small table and a comfy chair in the corner. And that you could order food from the connected restaurant to your room. Staff at the front desk were welcoming and fluent in english. I had breakfast all three days I stayed here and only had to wait for a table once (~09:00am a sunday morning). Even then I only had to wait for 10min. Breakfast was good and had enough options for my three day stay. The location of the hotel is good too. The street is quiet at night, but just a short walk from the nightlife. There's also a small Lawson just across the street. I used subway exit B10 which got me very close to the hotel. I would stay here again when visiting Kobe.

The hotel is conveniently located close to all the fun shopping areas. Yet, it is not noisy and still maintains that peaceful/relaxed feeling. There are also heaps of restaurants around, and is only 5-7 minutes walk from the biggest train station in Kobe. This is definitely worth the money and has great value. I specifically like the fact that the room size is big (comparing to other Japanese hotels)

This is very close to Chinatown, Sannomiya Station, atóa aquarium, and high end shopping (if you're into that) as well. Lots of walkable distance places (within 10-25 minutes walks). They have bath salts as part of the amenities to soak your feet. The room has a tub/shower. The amenities bar is pretty amazing. Wonderful staff and efficient check in and out by machine. Our room was pretty spacious for a hotel room in Japan. Beautiful view of the mountain and city from our room. Comfortable beds. Just a great base of operations for travelers.

Location of the hotel is great. Extremely convenient for all activities and at the same time very quite. The breakfast was good too. Though it gets a bit monotonous after two to three days. Adding some more variety will help.

I would have liked to see a gym and a machine to take fresh drinking water. I dislike using bottled water but had no choice as the tap water tin the washroom had a bit too much chlorine, at least it tasted like that!

Rooms are spacious probably we booked the suite room. Location is great, center of the Kobe city.

Breakfast soso, the restaurant is rather small and seems can't fit too many ppl at the same time. It would be great if the hotel can separate the breakfast time for all guess so each section can only have say 40ppl. The worst thing in this hotel is the lift issue, too small with 3 lifts. Hundreds of guess will come down for breakfast or check out in between 8-10am, if you are lucky then you only have to wait for few minutes for the lift, if not probably 15-20mins......

We stayed at Daiwa Roynet Hotel for our last night in Japan before flying home from Kansai Airport. It is conveniently located in Sannomiya, close to the train station, the Airport Limousine bus stop and many shops and restaurants. The rooms are very spacious for this type of hotel and way more luxurious than I expected for the very reasonable price! The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful. I made an error when booking and they promptly helped me to fix it (and spoke excellent English, which was helpful as I was unable to explain my mistake with my limited Japanese!) I look forward to staying again next time I visit Kobe!

The best hotel we have stayed in during our ten-day trip in Japan. If I come to Kobe again, I will definitely stay in this hotel again. The room is very spacious, with a very comfortable large bathtub and a large toilet. It's a new and fashionable modern hotel, and the price is surprisingly not expensive compared to other big cities (about ₤78per night for a double room).

There is a coin-operated washing machine service, but it takes a very, very long time to queue up. It's annoying that there are not enough washing machines that can be used.

The price is pretty reasonable for the service and quality this hotel provides. The staff was really helpful that I arrived earlier than expected due to flight schedule change then she let me check in early with a small extra fee. The room is clean. The bed size is large enough for comfort purposes. The AC is strong.

The space is not roomy enough for the luggage to be opened easily. The location, despite claimed nearby the train/subway main station, takes a good 7-10 min walk to arrive, so if you carry a large luggage like me, it would be pretty cumbersome and exhausting to arrive.

Convenient location. Have a restaurant and laundry machine. Toilets in common areas. Guest rooms have all the necessary amenities. Our request for two adjacent rooms was granted. This is important to us as we are a family of four and it is convenient to have adjacent rooms. Staffs were helpful when request assistance with make restaurant reservations in Japanese language which we don’t speak.

To my surprise, I saw a pair of slippers belonging to previous guest under the bed when I was looking for something I dropped. Housekeeping staffs should check under the bed to make sure nothing is under it and clean for next guest.
