I had a wonderful stay at Kobe Nadeshikoya Guesthouse! The location is incredibly convenient, making it easy to explore Kobe. The shared spaces, including the toilets and bathrooms, were spotlessly clean, which made my stay very comfortable. The other guests were polite and considerate, creating a pleasant and disciplined atmosphere. I booked a shared room with six beds, and my bed area provided ample space for a cozy stay. The only minor downside was that the wooden bed frames creaked a bit when climbing up, which could be slightly disruptive in a shared room. However, all the guests were understanding and patient, which made it a non-issue. Overall, I enjoyed a restful night and felt refreshed for the next day of my trip. I highly recommend Kobe Nadeshikoya for its cleanliness, great location, and welcoming vibe!

Back for the second time, I really enjoy the vibe of this hostel. It's small and cosy, so it doesn't have all the perks of a big structure, but it's super clean and functional. My favourite things are the balcony, where you can chill and chat with other guests, and the location, inside Chinatown, one of my favourite spots in Kobe. They also store your luggage before/after checkout. Thanks for your warm welcome, see you next time! :)

The location is so good! It is in China Town Kobe. I can walk to Sannomiya and Haborland. There are many restaurant, convenience store and souvenir shop. Staff are very kind and helpful😊

Water heater in shower room, take time to wait hot water. There is announcement in shower room.

- No capsule hotel. So no need to checkout everyday morning. - Good location with plenty options nearby for eateries and souvenirs.

- Sleepwear and shower towel sold separately. - No elevator - Although the room is generally clean, some sections were covered with slight dirt. (Especially the shelf above my bedlight)

Small hostel on the side of the Chinese district. Nice, cheap and cozy - good access to the city center so location is a plus. The shower facilities were clean and good quality - though of course renting the bed in shared room it's not entirely private. Still I shared the room with only one other Japanese person and it was a pleasant and relaxing stay.

Too small lockers for big backpackers - though it's usually safe in Japan and might have been some option to store somewhere - sadly I was leaving very early in the morning so wouldn't want to risk not being able to get my backpack.

Right in Kobe's Chinatown! It was nice and quiet and the beds were comfortable.

I kind of wish they got rid of the desk in the room so that there is more space for luggage. The rooms are quite cramped and difficult to navigate. I think there is enough space to work and study if you need to in the common room.

Location central to all tourist attractions, staff fluent in English, recommend places to visit. Very helpful, clean, good kitchen, bathroom. Restaurants nearby, beds spacious for bunks. Lockers secure

The bed was comfortable and it was very quiet in the evening. I slept very well during my stay. The bathroom was clean and they had separate bathrooms and showers for men and women. I really appreciate that. The location in China town was convenient too with many street food vendors.

It was my first time staying in a hostel here in Japan so I was a bit nervous but the staff was very helpful, everything was clean and organised. I always worry about the loos and showers in hostels but they were very clean. The bedding was comfortable and I liked the privacy too.

I’ve stayed in a lot of Japanese hostels and capsule hotels and this one was maybe the nicest I’ve ever been in. The bunks were really solid and very nicely built and the whole place was super clean.
