All staff was impeccable, so courteous Special mention to Tan, who went way beyond the call of duty and even stopped to gently and unobtrusively offer to help us in the supermarket downstairs when he was off duty but saw that we were trying to decipher the ingredients on a package. Also Na'o, hope I'm spelling her name correctly, went out of her way to assist us Location - terrific , elevator up from the train station View from room - terrific We enjoyed the pianist in the lobby Will recommend to all our friends in Israel to stay there, thank you for meeting our Sabbath needs with respect and sensitivity.

Having to leave after only 3 nights!

1) Splendid spread of breakfast. 2) Spacious and comfortable lobby area 3) Relatively quite 4) Well organised

1) The smoking area. -Need to have an indoor smoking room. - The smoking area should be designated away from the taxi stand and main lobby entrance. There is extremely no privacy and severely uncomfortable to be smoking when you have other hotel guests and kids around. People and kids have to breathe the smoke in the air if they want to get the taxi or walk in or out the lobby. As a smoker who dont stay in a smoking room. It is inconvenient to go out all the way outside to smoke regularly especially amidst the icy winds and winter cold.

Breakfast was delicious. Got to choose between two options - traditional Japanese and buffet style. The room was super spacious and clean. A lot of hotels in Japan can feel really small, but this was the perfect size to layout a large suitcase and still have room to walk comfortably. The view was really great! The location was right next to Shin-Kobe so even if you have a lot of luggage, getting to the hotel was super fast and easy. It also not too far from the harbor if you wanted to do some shopping and walkable distance to the historical neighborhood Kitano Ijinkan. For the price, I feel that it was a great value and felt more luxurious than I expected even though I was staying in the more basic rooms.

Excellent staff, all very attentive. Could not to better in that respect. Excellent facilities - gym, restaurants, lifts. Room was excellent, outstanding views. We arrived by shinkansen to the Shin Kobe station which is adjacent to the Crown Plaza. The twin room was a good size and the bathroom was roomy and clean though a little dated. The pillows were the softest we had on this trip where most of the pillows are rock hard. We were mostly satisfied with our short one night stay.

The water temperature in the sink and shower/bath fluctuated between hot and cold and could not be controlled.

This is a wonderful property, immediately adjoining Kobe's Shinkansen train station. The large expanse of windows in our room offered wonderful views of the city and the Inland Sea beyond. Everything about our experience was top-notch, and the price was amazingly low. We also appreciated the excellent access to the ropeway and herb garden, one of the best in Japan.

We only had two nights here. We wished we'd had more!

We couldn't adjust the temperature in the room as it has only central heating and air-conditioning. They provided us with an air cooler, which overall helped to make the stay a comfortable one.

The room was very comfortable with a great view of the mountains behind Kobe and the historic Kitano area. The shower was particularly excelent. And the hotel has a laundromat, which is great for people such as us who are on longer trips.

Located right next to JR Shinkansen Shin-Kobe station which was very convenient. The staff are very polite and professional. Two rental car office within the building. Spacious rooms with sink located outside of the bathroom which can help when multiple people are in the room. Had a great view. We even could see the port.

Not much to complain but while the rooms are clean and spacious, it was starting to feel a little outdated but that's abut it. They had a natural line of soap, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, etc., but it had a scent that I was not a fund of.

Location and Breakfast

Lobby level bathroom. There was only one bathroom in the lobby and one of the two toilets was Japanese style so had to wait until the western style toilet opens up.
