The location was great! It was only about a 10 minute walk from Sannomiya Station, even with luggage, and another 10 minute walk from the Ropeway attraction. There are numerous delicious restaurants in walking distance, and plenty of convenience stores in case you forgot anything not covered by the amenities bar provided by the hotel.

This is only a tiny nitpick, and not really something to improve upon, but only to note, I was pleased that the shower head was so tall (shower heads in Japan are often just a little too short for taller people), but the angle of the fixture plus the water pressure meant the stream of water was in the outer edges of the tub, which could be slightly annoying to try to configure yourself within the tub space while showering. Just something to note.

Everything in the room was very well thought-out, laid-out and was of good quality. I felt that the management really thought about the customer's experience in the way the room, bathroom etc was furnished, laid out etc. The lighting and power-points, the light switches, the kettle, good quality tea in the room and excellent quality night-wear in real cotton. Overall a sense of high quality and care. There were no ugly and useless items or papers. Everything perfectly neat and clean. It was also excellent that the heating / cooling in the room could be easily controlled by the guest. The final point is that the staff were all very positive, friendly and laid-back. Even though I walked into reception with an ice-cream, they were 100% professional and sincere. I was checked-in within minutes of my arrival. Excellent work by the reception staff.

The staff at the front desk were really friendly and helpful when I checked in, and again when I needed luggage storage after checking out.

The breakfast option is attached to the restaurant beside the hotel. Rather than ordering anything off the menu, the restaurant has 4 set meals guests can pick from using their hotel vouchers. The meals are fine, but I wish the regular menu was an option.

Location was good. If you are planning to go to Beit Chabad, the place is a 15-17 min walk, quite ok. The place is not suitable though tif you strictly keep Shabat, as entering in the front doors and the room door requires a card and the staff is not aware when you ask for a manual help. (you would need to ask the staff to open for you)

The room has everything needed, but is really small. With luggage walking to Hanshi station can take 15min.

The facilities look modern and attractive.

Maybe it was just our room, but there is a dangerous step down of almost a foot from the bathroom to the main floor. At the very least the edge of the step should be clearly marked with a yellow hi vis line. The price seemed high given that breakfast was not included.

Really liked the location between Sannomiya and Shin Kobe stations, also close to the Kitano district and some great local eateries in the streets across the road

Brekky at attached cafe was ok, pleasant Japanese Set A option, but got a bit boring after 3 days, when you really do not want an option with sausage and eggs.

A clean and cozy place within walking distance from the train station. The mountain hiking trails start and some viewpoints are also close, so the location may be suitable for both business and leisure travel. The room is quite compact, but clean and the bed is comfy with a selection of pillows.

Rooms facing the street may be a bit noisy in the morning even with the window closed.

The location is good, is not far away from the station. The room is quiet at night, and will not be disturbed by the noise on the street or the neighbors. Besides, although the room is not very big, but there is a bathtub where you can rest and relax after walking for the whole day. The service is very good, with a very polite and caring attitude when serving us at the front desk. Last but not least, you could even store your luggage before the check-in time, and pick it up once you check-in. It provides us with a comfortable and convenient experience during our stay.

The sheet looks clean, but it causes a little bit of itchy after covering it for a couple of minutes. Maybe just the material of it is causing us to be allergic to it. But the overall staying experience is nice. We enjoy it :)

Hotel is very clean and modern with friendly check-in staff. Short walk (just over 5 mins) from Sannomiya station. Room was great as well, slightly on the small side but that's par for most standard hotels in Japan. I had the "do not disturb" sign out during my stay and the cleaning staff kindly left clean towels and amenities hanging on the door handle each day.

The washing machine didn't really dry my clothes properly (just left them incredibly hot and damp) but only a small complaint!

Everything was as advertised. Clean and modern. Within walking distance of Sannomiya station, there's also a bus stop right in front of the hotel from where busses take you to the station (just one stop) every couple minutes, which has been comfortable in the summer heat.
