Really nice hotel in a super handy location for Sannomiya. I stayed for 5 nights and it was a little cramped for that amount of time, but apart from the room being a little small it was ideal. Very clean, the reception and entrance was really nice and modern, I used the laundry which was also ideal and had a vending machine as well. The bathroom was a decent size compared to some places I've stayed. The free amenities were the best of any hotel I stayed in in Japan, including some 4 star places. I particularly appreciated the tea and facemasks. I'd definitely recommend it, especially if you want something central and easy to get back to after a day or night out.

its not that I didnt like, I just ended up not trying the breakfest even though I paid for it so its my own thing (tough would love if it was untul 10 or soemthing). yet if I have tried it and liked it maybe I would have ranked the services a 10 - just felt it wasnt honest to rank it so high that I havent tried everything. really great place

The location was excellent! Just steps away from Sannomiya station and and is very close to almost the attractions of downtown Kobe. the hotel itself was clean and quiet and had everything you could need. And even if you do decide to stay at the hotel to rest up then get hungry, just step right outside the front door and you'll find all the great food options you can ever want: a 711 right beside, gyudon bowl chains, a tempura place, a yakitori restaurant, and more! there's even 2 supermarkets within 5 mins walk!

the room size is pretty small though, especially if you are lugging around big suitcases. That's not the hotel's fault though. Just be prepared, if you have a lot of stuff with you, the room will feel a little cramped. So if you do plan on going to japan with big suitcases maybe choose a hotel that will fit you better. but if you are a small suitcase or backpack kind of guy, Sotetsu Inn will be more than fine!

I had a high floor room with a nice sunset view over the train station. Bed was firm, with a soft and hard pillow. The light switches had English translations. I found myself using only the USB wall plugs to charge my devices. I self-checked in so I did not get to interract with any of the staff but I noticed they appear to be 24/7 present. I was within walking distance to all I needed, sadly for me the Blue Bottle coffee in Hankyu opens up only at 10. Kobe is a lively city and I could not stop looking out my window as I admire it so much.

Desk was small

The hotel can be easily accessed from the train station. There are plenty of food options and convenience store downstairs. I love the free amenities available for guests as well as the amenities for rent, it is extremely thoughtful for this service. Check-in and out process can be easily done via the kiosk machine. Hotel staff were helpful and friendly and are able to converse in English which is a plus. There's also coin laundry, vending machine and microwave available for use!

Just a few minor and not so important matter. - The pillow is quite hard, but I think it could be easily resolved by requesting for another, I'm just lazy. - Will be good if there are more hangers during cold season because of the number of layers and jackets we are wearing. Other than these, nothing else that I dislike of.

First time in Japan, the staff was very welcoming and they helped in various situations (lost my bag in a bar and they called it for me to make sure they could wait for me to get there and get it, they printed me a paper full of places where I could have used certain food stamps I received at work, I locked myself out of my room, etc.). Position is top-tier (seven eleven literally next to the hotel), very close to the station too. Check in and check out were super easy!

Only one of the employee has a sufficient level of English, so it was quite a struggle to communicate with them. I didn't know I had to put a magnet outside of my room to make them know I wanted it to be cleaned, so that was another thing I wish they could have told me beforehand. Smoking area wasn't great either, if you care about those things. Room was small - given the price and the area though, it was still a bargain.

Very nice and helpful staff. Very clean, the rooms look like new. Great location, restaurants around. Sannomiya station 5 mins away. Only a 15 mins walk to shinkansen station. Of course, very small rooms - but you cannot expect huge rooms in Japan :) I really have no major complains and would stay there again for sure.

Two details here. There was a long waiting time for elevator in the morning - sometimes the elevator came already full and it was necessary to wait for the next one, it could take even 10 mins. So if you want to go out quickly in the morning, better take the room on a low floor and use stairs. Also, there is no space to unpack your luggage in the room, you have to keep all the clothes in your suitcase on the floor.

The hotel was extremely clean and staff were very keen to help. Comfortable bed. Toiletries and pyjamas available for guests. Brilliant location for all transport links including bus to KIX airport and shinkansen services

Rooms are small and do not have drawers/ wardrobe to put away/unpack your clothes for a long stay.

I had a very pleasant stay at Sotetsu Fresa Inn Kobe Sannomiya. The hotel boasts a fantastic location, making it incredibly convenient for exploring Kobe. My room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. I particularly appreciated the quality of the bedding and found the pillows to be exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep.

Easy check in, check out process. I got checked in at midnight, got late food and returned at 1am to sleep. Slept great and checked out without any fuss or needing to talk to any staff the whole process.

The remote for my tv was broken, not that I had a lot of time for it anyways though. Nothing else was off unless you consider not seeing staff a worry. I also was only here for one quick night, so I didn't have time for things to go wrong
