The staff are great. Front counter staff were very helpful and always pleasant. We stayed a week and did not need a daily clean, but cleaners would deliver new towels daily and clean whenever we asked. Hotel and rooms are very clean. Location is very convenient, being a short walk to train station and shopping malls. Has good access for taxis to pick up and drop off. Rooms are good size and suitable for a longer stay and price was very reasonable. Cheap enough to get multiple room when travelling with family and staff will locate rooms as close as possible. Great and large common area near reception where you can bring meals and meet with friends. Bathroom good size with soaking tub and choice of bath salts.

We did not find anything negative about the hotel or its staff.

Despite the building being surrounded by construction, I did not hear a sound when it came to sleeping. Right next to the train station, so location was perfect. An 8 minute walk to the airport limousine bus, close to awesome department stores. Room was spacious, quiet, comfortable and perfect for my stay. Wonderful staff.

No public bath :(. A couple more side dishes for breakfast would have been lovely, that showcase Japanese cuisine - Japanese cuisine is divine! I was still very happy with breakfast. Also, being able to stream Netflix - I had problems being able to do this. I missed being able to use a public bath at night.

This is a new fairly probably a new hotel, at least the room design is pretty modern. The location was great very close to sannomiya station. The room was fairly big and value for money was good. It was very clean and the bed is very big.

The room itself is pretty challenging. This is not a room for clumsy people or disable or old people. Because they have a step up platform for the bed. Which is in a weird position. If you're clumsy , you might get tripped on your way to the bathroom at night. There are steps to the bathroom as well. So the interior design of the room is pretty challenging. When i stayed there are a big construction surrounding the area of the hotel, so it was pretty challenging to arrive at the hotel from the station. I suggest the hotel staff to inform the guests the way to the hotel during this construction period. Another thing is the sign of this hotel is very small and unreadable from a distance, suggest to make a bigger sign so we can see the hotel name from far away.

Brenza Hotel is a great choice if you're looking for a clean, comfortable, and well-located place to stay. The beds and pillows were excellent, and we appreciated that the windows could be slightly opened, so the room didn’t rely solely on air conditioning. One unexpected highlight? The coffee at breakfast was exceptional—easily the best we had compared to other accommodations. The staff was friendly and polite, making our stay even smoother.

The only minor downsides were the small bathroom and toilet, but that’s quite standard in Japan. Also, if you're looking for something with a unique or traditional vibe, this is more of a straightforward business hotel—but a good one! Would definitely recommend for a comfortable and convenient stay.

Brenza Hotel was in a quieter part of the city, even though it was very close to Sannomiya Station. The room was much more spacious than the other hotels we stayed in throughout our trip in Japan. The breakfast offered was delicious and hearty, although a bit on the pricier side. We loved that it was across the street from Round One, where we bowled and played arcade games to celebrate our son’s birthday!

There was an unpleasant smell in the area outside the elevators that take you upstairs to the reception area and rooms. It almost smelled like someone had urinated there and it hadn’t been cleaned up. This was the case for our entire stay of 4 nights/5 days.

The staff were lovely and check- in was easy. The room had very comfortable beds and was a good size for Japan. It definitely exceeding our expectations. The price was so reasonable we booked an extra night so we could relax before we had to catch our flight the next evening. It is in a great location so close to Sannomiya station to catch the Portliner and pick up the Kobe to Kansai airport bay shuttle. This was a great way to get to the airport and was much cheaper than catching a train or bus. Plenty of places to shop and eat close by.

Brenza location is superb. Right behind is DAIEI Shopping complexe which consist of AEON FOOD STYLE. Lawson just right below. Opposite the main street located McDonalds. Beside and walk for 3min you can reach M'int Kobe shopping complexe + M'int Kitchen street (many restaurant). M'ing Kobe also directly connect to DAIEI. HANKYU is just nearby. Not to mention walking distance to Sannonmiya Station (around 7min). Enter the underground via A23 (staircase only) for easy access to the Sannonmiya Station for JR and Hanshin Line. Staffs are helpful and friendly. No problem to communicate in english. No problem for lugagge storage before and also after checked in. If you are lucky mayb you might be assigned to your room earlier when the room has been cleaned. My room come with "Eco Stay", which means only change of bath towel and also clear rubbish bin. I found this suffix for my style and its do help to preserve our mother earth. By the way it can help you to cut down your travel expenses slightly. Room is clean with nice bed. Sufficient space for 28inch and also 24inch luggage to be open on the floor (I booked twin bed room). Bath water pressure is good. Room size is consider big for Japan Hotel standard. My room has a decice to allow room ventilation (beside using the bathroom "24 hours on" ventilation fan) which I like it, anyhow the outside noise might enter your room. It can be shut to reduce/ isolate the outside noise. Would definitely book again when comeback to Kobe. Thank you! Besides...Kobe is a lovely town. Thank you Brenza Hotel!

Some construction is on-going at another side of the hotel. At sometime it can be slightly noisy after 8am.

Room was probably larger than others of the same price point that I’ve stayed in Japan. Staff were excellent! Ammenities bar was well stocked and included drip coffee bags which was hugely appreciated. Coin laundry on 5F was excellent value - self-dispensing detergent machines worked a treat - my 3 kg load was washed and completely dry! There was a microwave and ice machine in the laundry room. Location was excellent for those who need to catch the Airport Limousine coach to KIX. Venture into the basement labyrinth and there are endless eateries and shopping.

One pillow didn’t have much support or life left in it, fortunately the other one was ok. Smelled a little of tobacco smoke - probably some idiot who failed to obey the rules. Water temperature was difficult to control (my room was on the 11F) making showers a challenge.

The hotel was near Sannomiya and Kobe-Sannomiya stations, allowing us to travel to various attractions without navigating so much, and right across from Round 1 which we could easily drop by on the way back. So many restaurants to try and shopping that could be done nearby as well. We also liked having new sets of towels and pyjamas provided daily and the charging ports at the bedside.

The fridge wasn't working and seemed to lose its function because not only was it not cold inside (our food/drink was warmed up lol), but the heat it emitted through the wooden bench was strong enough to dry some of our clothes overnight. The room was also a bit too dim.

As a solo traveler who was so tired, I encountered smiling faces when I arrived at the hotel. Complementaries include bath salts and nice drip coffees; it's a rare thing in Japan. They're really generous. The room was super clean and super well-equipped. Definitely deserves the price they ask. The bed was super comfy, hot water was solid, and the internet connection was great. Location is great, really close to the station. Luggage storage service was very convenient. I will definitely come and stay here next time.
