The location of the Hotel was excellent, a few minutes from the Central station of Nara. The Onsen there was small but very lovely and well-maintained. The room was verry clean and comfy for one person. The staff was very kind and considerated. During my stay there i broke my leg when i travelled around Nara, and they did more than i could ask them for. They bought food for me, ordered Taxis for me to go to the hospital, and showed me great care and hospitality during my stay until i was flying back home. This hotel truly care for its Costumers. And i hope to return there one day to thank them again for everything.

A great one night stay in Kobe! The hotel is very close to the train/bus station which is extremely handy! It’s also only a 15-20 minute walk to Harborland! The staff were polite and friendly! The rooms are a little small but that’s normal for Japan,but it was impeccably clean and the bed was very comfortable. The TV has Netflix etc which was great! The WiFi Password can also be found on the TV! There is a little table and chair in the room which is handy should you need to work! There is also a 7-11 right below the hotel and I believe laundry service is available however we didn’t use this nor make use of the breakfast although the breakfast area looked nice! We had only one night in Kobe but I would have happily stayed at this hotel longer!

Conveniently located just two blocks from Kobe Station but zero noise. There's an excellent supermarket and laundromat within two blocks. The building and especially the entrance/lobby area is 4 star all the way, and features a 7-Eleven on the ground floor. Clean, quiet, and freshly-updated room with zero wear. Excellent Internet too.

The standard double room gives you a full-sized bed instead of a twin, but no extra floorspace. Would be a little cramped for two guests. I'd therefore suggest saving money and going with the single room if traveling solo. Also, the staff is strict about not allowing checkins until 3:00 PM, which was a bummer for me since I arrived in town early. But they do offer free lockers to securely store your bags if you arrive before 3:00 PM.

Very convenient with fantastic staff. We had a twin deluxe room and it was incredibly spacious! Very comfortable nights rest after long days exploring. Lovely shrine just over the road too to visit. 7-11 on the ground floor also incredibly handy. Breakfast again was fantastic - very friendly staff once more and selection was great! Incredibly tasty - one of our best breakfasts we have had in Japan! So close to the Kobe harbour land for sights/shopping/food and for trains to explore - we had a day trip to Himeji from here and found it easy to navigate. PS - can highly recommend the mosaic area for food - we tried 8 Eighth beef. Overall would stay again - Excellent value for money - thank you! 😊

The hotel is very much a standard Japanese "business" hotel - small, but totally fine. The room was very clean and everything was comfortable. It's also super convenient to the Kobe Station - you can access it from the basement level via elevator or walking out the hotel door into the station entrance. All in all, this is a solid option for Kobe.

Not a fault of the hotel, per say. But, as this was my first time in Kobe, I didn't realize that the "heart" of the city is away from the Kobe Station. Sannomiya is more the "center" and I would probably stay in that area. But the hotel is still very walkable to the center and through a covered shopping street. So, definitely not a fatal flaw.

We had a wonderful stay at SK Hotel Kobe Ekimae. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the breakfast each morning was delicious and satisfying. The hotel’s location is convenient—situated just above Kōsoku-Kobe Station, it made getting around the city very easy. What truly made our experience special was the kindness and helpfulness of the front desk staff—especially Ms. Tanaka. She went above and beyond to assist us during our stay, and we are truly grateful for her support. Highly recommended, and we would love to stay here again!

Loved the breakfast - plenty of choice and delicious. The stay was worth it just for the breakfast! The laundry room was handy as we needed to wash some clothes. The rooms were well appointed, and the bath was great. Location near 2 train stations was good, too. Be aware there are multiple stations with Kobe in the title, so check which one you need.

Our room felt hot and a bit stuffy, but the other 2 rooms used by other family members seemed fine. The pillows were a bit high for me. Room quite small - not much room for luggage. But hangers and fabric freshener provided.

I enjoyed the room and it was good. The entrance look fancy.

Something that I couldn't understand was that I wanted to book directly with the hotel but they told me that there wasn't a room available. I opened the Booking app and rented one, Baffling... Also, I could hear the beeping noise of the pedestrian crossing. I was lucky that I like to sleep late because the beep didn't stop until late at night.

The breakfast is very diverse and plentiful! There are 24-hour coin laundry service on the 7th and 12th floors. The hotel is located right above Kosoku-Kobe Station, and the famous Minatogawa Shrine is just across the street. Although the Sannomiya Station area is more convenient, staying here (at Kobe Station) is also a great choice.

This was the first room we had with a place to sit down for two (eating our takeaway dinner) and having a really spacious and comfortable kingsize bed. Also we had enough room for our luggage. This is definitely on our list if we manage to come back to Kobe. Another plus: Kobe Station (local trains) is just around the corner and there’s a 7/11 on the 1st floor.
