I got the king sized room on discount & it was incredible. Massive room, very modern. The bathroom was heaven on earth. Very nice toilet, very nice shower room. Very fancy room. Lots of free amenities - toothbrush, toothpaste, razor, ear cleaners, shaving gel, hair brush, wash cloths, etc. They supply you with adapter plugs if you ask. Excluding the middle of the bed where the 2 single beds joined up, the bed was extremely comfy. Pillows were also very comfy. There's a safe. You're about 10 mins walk from downtown kyoto & it's a straight line. Very nice & polite staff. Extremely clean. Would 100% stay here again or in any of their other hotels.

Location was a bit annoying train station wise as you would have to walk 10 minutes to get to it, then have to take a train from said station to kyoto station. The 'king sized' bed was just 2 single beds put together. If you like sleeping in the middle that's an issue, buf if you sleep a couple inches left or right of the bed it's very comfy. A few scuffs on the wall but frankly that was one of the only problems. Only listing this as a complaint because the room is meant to be very luxurious & quite expensive (unless you got a discount like me), therefore the room is more open to criticism.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were stylish, clean, and very comfortable, with great beds and a fantastic shower room. The location is ideal—within walking distance to central Kyoto and very close to public transportation (trains and buses), making it easy to get to all the temples, neighborhoods, and attractions. I also want to highlight the excellent service: I accidentally left my AirPods in the room after checkout, and the staff found them quickly and offered to send them to my next hotel. We had already moved on, but I was able to return and pick them up with no hassle—very helpful and professional.

The only downside was breakfast. It comes as a fixed box with preselected items, which didn’t suit us well. My daughter is a picky eater and could only eat the fruit, and I have allergies, so I had to be cautious. It would be much better to offer a buffet or allow guests to preselect their meal to accommodate different needs.

Happy with the location as everything was easy to reach: the station, Gion and the buses for Arashiyama. The room was clean and fairly large compared to others on this trip. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was well-equipped. There was no bath this time, only shower. The staff were professional but a little inflexible. There was one slightly worrying incident when they suggested there might be a fire on the 7th floor and we were literally locked in to our floor as the lifts stopped working and the only staircase had a security lock on it that had to be broken in case of emergency. Luckily, it was a false alarm, but it was a bit disconcerting to be locked in there.

Quiet area, supermarkets close by, staff people were nice, u have tea and water available for guests at the lobby, big window in the room, and the room is small but is separate for 2 halls with a door you can close between so it’s nice if you need privacy, hotel lobby is nice to sit in, it was clean, good WiFi, nice design

Area is not that close to the main area, about 20-30 min walk to gion and nishiki market, shower water were not hot enough for me, the hotel bar is nice but only for quiet drink cause people are not really going.

Welcoming staff allowed to check in early which was much appreciated as my child was sick. Amazing location, a very large number of buses next door. Close to subway and shopping area. Central Kyoto is home to many cafes and restaurants which are not overrun by tourists. Supermarket next door was also convenient.

Laundry was challenging as some unconscionable people put their laundry on and then left for the whole day! In other hotels, staff can unlock the machine but this hotel didn’t. Please change this policy.

What did I love- all of it!! Wow!! This hir is above what I expected- we stayed all over Tokyo and Osaka and this place by far had the best quality begging, linens, pillows were so comfortable and room came with 2 pee bed which most places you have to ask for a second pillow. The duvet felt so luxury. They spared no expense on making the beds feel so comfortable and you can touch the quality! Room facility’s and entity’s were lovely, it’s only a stand up shower no bath but that’s ok for us. Effect warm and modern toilet. Great use of layout and space considering the size. Free coffee and yummy toast and jam for breakfast each morning! Love this place!

Only downfall was location it’s not too close to Kyoto station or the main shopping or tourist areas. Lots of local bus options to catch out front but they are always packed so you will be standing for the ride.

Conviently situated not far from metro station.

There was not enough English breakfast tea vags provided in the room. Just green tea bag’s and we do not drink green tea. Second day thought they would provide but had to go and ask at the office. Both times I was told that English breakfast tea only available with breakfast. Eventually when I requested whether I could swop the green tea bags for English breakfast teabags, the receptionist gave me the black tea bags. This was an unnecessary inconvience having to go ask for teabags which most western people drink

This hotel is 20 minutes walk from 四条 the very commerical part of the kyoto. I love that under the hotels, there are bus stops take you everywhere, also really nice neighborhood restaurants, my favorite is tiger gyouza, they have the best Chinese food with hugh Jiaozi Gyouza, so yummy, we went for 4 nights straight. This hotel is very clean, staff very friendly, i totally will come back to stay.

washing machine is always occupied.

Rooms are quite big, very good location. There is also a good free bread provided in the morning for free.

They have an espresso coffee machine that is available to all customers, but only in the afternoon. Initially, they were letting guests use that in the morning too, but then suddenly they changed the policy halfway through my stay.

room was spatious, clean. The staff was very friendly and advised me well. The location is great.

the breakfast was not so good, however there are a lot of stores in the surroundings that offer amazing food.
