There is a stream in front of the house, and it looks nice and cool even in summer. I was healed by the flow of the stream that I could see from the living room on the second floor. Self check-in was easy. I like walking, and I was able to walk to sightseeing spots and downtown areas and enjoy the scenery of Kyoto.

Nice stay, great location and very modern and cozy. We had a good time there with our family of 5. It is Japanese style so don’t expect a ton of room but we enjoyed the authentic experience

the location is perfect with open window to the Gion Shirakawa. I had a lot of good pictures of the place. it is really nice and worth the price.

The kitchen is quite small and didn't have a stove.

A beautifully presented traditional property in a very lovely peaceful location, within a short walk of both peaceful temples and the busy Gion and Nishiki areas.

Far too small for 5 adults. Tiny kitchen (although exceptional quality) with only 3 cups/mugs, no storage space for clothes for our 4 night stay. The only storage cupboards were locked and unavailable to use.

Great location and very cozy! Great for family!

Need to read the instructions very carefully as no waiting staff. Also during summer there are lots of cicalas outside which is quite noisy. And the blinds don’t block out enough lights.
