We arrived a Kyoto Late so were provided the access code to the hotel, accessed the room and then didn't need to interact with anyone nor saw any staff for the entire stay. This suited us but if you're used to house keeping or want a 24h desk then it might not be for you. Once we left it was a case of leaving the key in the box and we were away. The room was very spacious with separate kitchenette and washing machine and the apartment was clean, quiet and comfortable despite being on the ground floor at road level. Unlike a lot of apartments on Booking.com this didn't have a "BNB" feel to is where you had to wait for a host and was a whole host of apartments set out like a hotel.

The washing machine by default has no Spin Cycle. The booklet with the room says to not touch the settings other than start so this resulted in very soggy clothes which we then struggled to get dry. If we had, had time to work out the setting i'm sure we could have done it but we were rushed for time so had to bag some of our clothes and take them with us wet.

I like it included a washing machine, the instructions on the room were very clear. The bed was comfortable. The space is enough for one or two guests.

Well prior to arriving at the hotel, a few things happened that made me arrive late. My mind was all over the place and I found it a bit complicated to get the key out of the key box. The person who assisted me during check-in was very helpful and sent me a video with additional instructions. After that, I was able to obtain the key without any further problems.

Good location away from center of Kyoto but .5 miles from Kyoto station and easily accessible transportation stop. The room was larger than the majority of Japanese accommodations- I liked that there were two balconies to open doors and get some air in the room- also it had a washer!!

Coat racks toilet paper rack not screwed in well- a bit pricier than anything else I paid for in Japan and not necessarily nicer accomodation, but maybe Kyoto is just pricier. Bathroom was not separate from sower room,

Initially it felt small and inadequate as there were no plates or bowls to use the.kitchen After a day, and with some plates delivered, realised that the apartment is well equipped and the heat in the bathroom was very useful for drying clothes. Location was central to all the attractions and restaurants are within 10 mins of driving. So a car is necessary. Basically a hotel room size equiped with a kitchenette and washer with a heated bathroom. Once you have this mindset, it's a great place as it is fitted with all you want. Parking was also a plus and the cost of 500 yen a night is reasonable. They also provided for umbrellas which was also considerate as there was a full day of rain when I was there. Check out is simple - just leave the key in the letter box.

Negatives were that the bed was low and a bit soft but that did not prevent me from getting a good night's sleep. The duvet cover was a little short but they provided extra pillows to cover your top half of your body. Considerate. The lack of a proper table and chairs for eating was substituted with a tea table and 2 couch chairs - not comfort for eating but good enough for a snack meal. All said, much thought has been given to offset any short comings.

Good location, easy access to Family mart and Lawson. The nearest stations are Tofukuji and Kujo which are about 8-10 walk or more depending on your walking speed. The apartment is clean and compact, facilities are exactly as described on the website. The staff are friendly, easy check in and out. They speak reasonably good Engkish, even provided a folder in the aparment with detailed instructions on how to use the various devices and some general info on getting around.

Great location with a jr line nearby. The personnel was friendly and helpful. The rooms were a bit small with all our luggage, but we knew that when we made the reservation. We could still comfortably move around. Air-conditioning worked fine which was amazing during this time of the year

Location was good . Station was 7-10 minute wall and even kyoto station was 1 station away or 12 minutes walk. Lot of restaurants and convenient stores and everything was within the reach. We had amazing stay. It was well equipped. But staffs responds very quickly and were helpful all the time.

Check in counter is far from apartment which was stressful at the time of check in . After long travel and tiring day.

A very nice and well equipped apartment. There is no reception, but you can collect your key at the laundry shop, which is a 10-minute walk from the hotel. At the laundry, you can store your luggage (and the reception will take it to your room) if you arrive before the check-in time. The apartment is spacious and clean, and the bed is comfortable. The hotel is a 15-minute walk from the subway and a 10-minute walk from the bus stop... I recommend purchasing the 1 day kyoto pass, which allows you to travel on all subways and buses (no JR) .

if you have noisy neighbors, you will hear them.

Self check-in is available, the room was big, and there was a washing machine in the apartment which came handy. The receptionist was very nice, they let us leave our luggages whole day at the reception:)

The bed's mattress was two separated ones, which makes sleeping with your partner rather uncomfortable... Also the washing machine doesn't dry your clothes entirely, so you must have at least two nights until your clothes will dry.

It was a small apartment, but it had everything we needed, including a washing machine. We also enjoyed the location in a quiet street, but on walking distance from the train-/ metro stations, supermarkets, vending machines, izikayas, etc.. We would gladly stay again when in Kyoto.

For us, there could have been a bit more soundproofing between the apartments and a different (thicker) matras.
