1. The transportation is very convenient. There are tram and bus stops just outside. There are also convenience stores and some fast-food chains nearby. It is also close to the scenic area. 2. The location is very quiet, and you can sleep well at night. 3. The actual interior of the hotel matches the official pictures provided. It has basic toiletries and daily necessities. For a short trip, this hotel is a good choice.

It would be great if daily cleaning service could be provided.

Staff was fenomenal, they were really kind and ready to help with whatever is needed. The breakfast is big and tasty. Free coffe is available at the machine in the lobby. The hotel has a great location with many convience stores, restaurants and attractions at walking distance. You can leave your luggage after checking out and explore the city.

The beds are too hard for our taste. It is important to note that room cleaning is done once in 3 days and only if requested a day earlier at the reception.

They do not give extra pillows. The pillows are very small and the beds are over firm. Not getting extra ones had us tossing and turning most of the night. Also the bathrooms are pretty outdated for japan and very small for tall people. Also employees are really hard to find haha!

It was very convenient placed, close proximity to the bus stops and train. It’s in a calm area so there is basically no noise. The room had a good amount of space and were soundproof. The amenities were always stocked up and the staff were very nice

The carpet had a few big stains and the staff weren’t readily available.

The location is great, and is surrounded by some quick food and shop options. The bed was comfortable and the shower pressure was great! we had read reviews criticising some aspects of this hotel so we were apprehensive but were really pleasantly surprised. Although the staff have limited English this made no difference to the quality of service they offered. Check-In was swift with the receptionist using her Google translate app to give us all of the information we needed. The breakfast was incredible value for money. Remember you are in Japan so the breakfast was light and tasty. A selection of changing pastries, yummy bread to make toast with (butter, jam etc available), some delicate bowls of egg, sausage and little soy sauces meatballs. all teamed up with fruit juice, fresh coffee and tea. I mentioned to my husband on the second day that there weren’t any little bowls of egg like the day before but that I was fine with just toast, within a couple of minutes the lovely lady serving breakfast said my name and handed me a little bowl of eggs after hearing our conversation. All in all this place is fantastic value for money. No, it’s not a 4 star hotel but they don’t claim to be. It’s a comfortable place to start and end your day exploring a stunning city.

The rooms are a little bit dark and the AC wasn’t great but these were very minor things. There weren’t many close plugs to the bed but we found an extra usb port on the desk which saved the day!

Unfortunately due to the lack of staff there was no breakfast, but they will compensate the return accordingly so it is still professional of them

Good size room, very clean. Very close to the city bus, rail and JR trains. Great position, close to Nijo castle, market. We took breakfast. It was delicious and filling. Hotel has great free espresso in the lobby.

It is very close to the next building so our window was looking at the wall. Not too much daylight.

The location is perfect, close to bus stops and subway, you can take a train to Osaka from this station. The room and bathroom are big, the biggest bathtub I have seen in Japan. The spaces were clean and the decorating is cozy.

The blinder were not working perfectly and it was extremely bright in the morning, I needed to use a sleeping mask. The bed was a bit too hard but not uncomfortable.

The clothes driers were horrifyingly dirty The washing machines were OK. However, dirt/dust was dangling from the driers above. Really disgusting

The rooms for being in Japan (usually small) had a good size, however the window had a wall view. The breakfast was just ok, but acceptable to have energy. But the best of this hotel was the location, perfect to go to all landmarks, in a neighbourhood with amazing typical izakayas and with the traditional essence.
