Lovely two storey house with plenty of room for two or even three people, big rooms for a Japanese house. The facilities and the decor were great. It was close to a train station and in a quaint little street with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby.

It was difficult to get to from the main train station as the bus routes were confusing and we ended up in a very different location and ended up getting a taxi. I would suggest a taxi for your initial trip after that it's easy to navigate the public transport system.

Two floors, space, central location in Kyoto.

Communication with apartment owner (failed to provide access code, even after contacting them in the morning. Another family who just arrived, also didn't receive access code, even afyer contacting them the day before). Limited kitchen utensils, not entirely sufficient for 5 people.

I liked how everything was already set up for our party of 5. It was a nice and thoughtful touch. I was expecting the neighbors to be quite loud based on the advisory from the owners; however, the walls were not as thin as I was expecting. The only minor issue our stay had were the mosquitos/gnats in the room, but overall it was not too big of an issue.

Spacious and full facilities for kitchen (oven and microwave), washing machine that comes with cleaning powder. Property is clean and well maintained. Beds are comfortable and air conditioning works well.

The front door lock is flimsy, and hard to lock. It looks insecure with a small catch to lock the door. However the environment is peaceful and neighbourhood look safe.

- it was really cold place - the air conditioning heating only worked upwards, so it was too hot to sleep upstairs and it was cold downstairs to sit at the table - We also didn't like the camera in the kitchen... We had the feeling that someone was still watching us

location was great, easy to go around kyoto by bus. We liked the architecture and also the rooms were nice, well equiped and clean. Tatamis floor and futon beds were comfortable. we liked the public bath right next door which was very typical to have full immersive experience.

Excellent property in a great location. Not too far from the castle, right next to the markets and shopping and close to the train station. The property itself was very comfortable, clean and modern traditional styling. Loved this place and would gladly go back again.

I really liked the whole house! It was big and had everything you needed. My friends and I had a really comfortable trip in Kyoto. The location is great too - everything is accessible because the train stations and bus stops are only a few minutes' walk away.

Amazingly comfortable beds & futons. Well equipped bathroom.

Very little cutlery in kitchen. Floors in entrance area were quite dirty. Limited communication from staff.

It had what we needed - washing machine, kitchen. It is a few min walk away from Omiya station, bus stops, the keifuku randen tram line that goes to arashiyama, and convenience stores.

The toilet is on the first floor and the shower is on the second floor.
