Good value for money, nice public bath, quiet neighborhood without being too far from downtown.

The place was good in terms of location to omiya station. It was clean and tidy. Good size rooms for compare to Japan standards as well.

The place was clean n good . But with customer service, the staff was a little put off . Like 2 bottles of water with room cleaning will not make a dent in their pockets but they just refused. Plus the breakfast was a pass with no options of live eggs to order. Too cold a menu to be had in the mornings.

Good location, near the metro. We were able to do laundry for free (bring your own detergent) and the staff always made us feel very welcome.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was cosy and the bed was very comfortable.

Nothing much, just the location is a bit difficult for my travel plan. I had to make a few transfers to reach the hotel.

If you arrive sooner than the checkin, they keep your baggages. Or if you want to explore the city on the day of checkout, they also keep your baggages for you. Also has a lot of ammenities that are free to use

A little bit expensive

Slightly larger bedroom than the average in Japan. Good location, easy to take the metro, train and bus to the center. You just need to cross the street to have access to the train platform that takes you to Osaka. Supermarket a few steps away. The hotel can keep your luggage before check-in and after check out, they store it in a secured area, something that you don't always find in other hotels in Japan.

The hotel had informed us that early check-in could be possible if rooms were available. But when we got there, we were not allowed early check-in even though there were several people checking out. We would gladly wait for cleaning and pay extra, but that was a no deal. We arrived really early in the morning and tired, some flexibility would have been nice.

Comfortable beds, onsen included in the price, kind and helpful staff, clean and relevantly equipped room, good location, botles with fresh water in the fridge available. Receptionists were helpful, when I needed to chose some restaurant to celebrate my husband's birthday, even before we come to the hotel.

Limited selection of food for breakfast, small rooms especially for bigger Europeans.

The staff are very friendly and accommodating, the rooms are very clean and well maintained, laundry machine is free and the location of the hotel is the best; the nearby train station has access to the main tourist spots in Kyoto and it’s very easy if you're traveling back and forth to Osaka. Also just around JPY 1,800 if you're going to take a taxi from/to Kyoto station (would recommend getting a taxi if you have 4 luggages 😅). and there is a 2-minute walk nearby Supermarket if you want to get some fruits and other stuff.

Well located to visit Kyoto and closed to Hankyu line. Very clean but room very small (as usual in most japanese modern hostels). Really good value for money. Free tea and coffee. Public bath.

Only small issues. Our fridge was so cold that everythng just freezed… so we could’nt keep fresh food during the week. Only one microwave for the entire building, and no place to cook. Only two wash machines and two dryers for the entire hostel. Nice because free to use but no detergent… of course we don’t have that in our luggages so we had to buy a very small dose at the hostel office for ¥200… Our towels have been changed every day even if we don’t ask for it. It wasn’t necessary.
