The location is very close to the Shijo-Omiya public transportation stations, do not need to walk far to get on a bus or train. There are also multiple convenience stores and supermarkets in the vicinity, so it's very easy to buy food for kid (milk, and etc.) or snacks for the adults. The rooms is very spacious in Japan standard and very new, possibly because it's newly opened. The room is equipped with a washing machine with drying function, which is life-saver if you are traveling with a kid who is constantly generating dirty cloth. The staff is not always present but very polite and helpful.

There are not too many restaurants around the hotel. You would have to walk 5min to get fast food and 10-15min to get proper Japanese cuisine (such as on the Omiya Dori). And to get fancy food you basically have to take 15min bus ride to more popular neibourhoods like Gion. So be prepared. The room is not very sound-proof to interior noise. So if somebody is shouting in your same floor or some kid is running around in the room above you, you can hear them. Luckily during our stay there were only one or two times we heard the noise. Still, it is better to have a mechanism to remind guests that "other people can hear you".

The room was just as shown in the pictures, spacious, comfortable, well-equipped with amenities, and ideal for a family of three with a teenager. The kitchen was a great feature, making it easy to have breakfast in the apartment, especially with a gourmet supermarket just around the corner (we used Google Translate to read the labels!). The location was excellent, with easy access to train stations and buses, and just a short walk to authentic local restaurants. It had a great local vibe and made for a very enjoyable stay. Highly recommended.

The kitchenette was very well stocked, making it easy to cook a simple breakfast of eggs and sausage. The plates and silverware were immaculate. Beds were comfortable, bathroom spotless. Staff was not able to arrange luggage delivery but helped us write the address in kanji to make it easier for 7/11 to arrange. You must be present at facility to receive luggage delivery but staff did bring it up to our room.

The only inconvenience was that they required you to be at the hotel to receive luggage and didn’t arrange luggage delivery. Everything else was amazing.

New and well designed room. It was spotless and had a decent size. It comes with a nice walk-in-shower, hairdryer, large fridge etc. The Hotel is right across the street from the Hankyu-Line entrance, which connects well to other lines in and around Kyoto and all the way to Osaka.

The light towards the bathroom is very bright and motion activated, so walking to the bathroom at night is not the best experience. I am not a fan of registering my data before check-in and then checking in via videocall. I was surprised that the remote employee asked me to call again later because It was 4 minutes before the Check-In time. That just seems rude, given that the call would have lasted those few minutes anyway. However, there were employees at the front desk from time to time, just not at my checkin in the afternoon.

I really loved the apartment, so clean, so bright, so comfortable and with 2 bathrooms, very calm, with nice table to have meals, amazing stay for the price. The pictures are exactly the hotel. Have nice supermarket nearby, subway, everything.

I suggest having the cloth washing machine instructions in English.

The room was clean & included all appliances. It was in a great location close to all the tourist attractions. Everything was easily accessible via public transport & taxis. Easy check-in and check-out. Two toilets in the 2-bedroom apartment was a bonus. Loved the bath. Good size for 4 people. Would definitely stay here again!

The property was in a good location, with easy access by train to many shrines. The staff were excellent. The beds were comfortable and the hotel was quiet and clean.

In the kitchen area there was a light which activated by a motion sensor which came on at night when other members of the family went to the bathroom- it would be good if this could be deactivated if desired.

Staff didn't really speak English but they were super accommodating and using Google translate to assist in everything.

There is a motion sensor light that at our front entrance to our room (toilet right there), so anytime someone went to the restroom at night it would light up the room and wake everyone up (it's super bright bulb that you can NOT dim).

The room was immaculate, the position, brilliant. It made our stay in Kyoto even more amazing. We had plenty of space, washing machine, kitchen, two toilets and a wonderful bath. The kids slept in the tatami room and loved it.

Clean, simple modern furnishings, comfortable, spacious. Location was great for us. Fantastic LIFE supermarket across the road.

Staff barely acknowledged us, seemed to actively looking ignored us. Anyone could walk in and access any floor.
