I liked the location, it was close to Enmachi Station and many bus stops. There were good options for food, for example Coco Curry which i recommend! The laundromat was about a seven minute walk, and there was a marketplace about ten minutes. There were plenty of convenient shops, 711, Lawson, a pharmacy with good deals and cheap water!

The entrance is pretty steep, I was wondering how someone with a wheelchair or has trouble walking would fare but there is an alternative entrance on the other side of the building. Also the light at night is at motion sensor and it made it hard to see when I went to do laundry after a whole day if sightseeing.

I think one of the highest values of this hotel is location. It's pretty close to a train station, like 5 mins walk. The room is very good for one single person, but it can be kind of narrow for two people since getting in or out of bed can be troubled. The hotel has a vending machine at the very entrance. Though there are two convenience stores between the hotel and the nearest train station.

There are a few coin laundry rooms near the hotel. Please take mind that the hotel has no laundry room, and these coin laundry rooms are not 24-hour. The one that it is, it's like 14 mins walk away. When we stayed at the hotel, we tried to contact the receptionist at the reception, but they didn't answer, though it is hard to say how consistent this behavior is, since they were open to be contacted through the app.

A clean and comfortable hotel. It was lovely having a bathtub in the room, very useful after a lot of walking! The bed is comfortable, although the pillows less so. The heating/ air conditioning is good, as is the water pressure and temperature. The room has a mini fridge but no kettle. It is quite quiet at night. It was a good size for one person, but I think it would probably be quite cramped for two despite being a double room. The location perhaps isn't the best, although it is very close to Enmachi station this line is not very useful and most days I walked 20 minutes down to Nishioji Oike as that line went to more places I wanted to visit. The nearby area also isn't the prettiest, it's in the 'living' part of the city so expect a lot of concrete. Overall I had a warm and comfortable stay, which is important in the winter as it gets very cold outside.

The hotel offers free breakfast, including coffee, juice, and toast. The coffee machine is available 24 hours, which is a great convenience. The area around the hotel is quieter compared to staying near Kyoto Station, making it a more relaxed place to stay. Additionally, there are many dining options right in front of the hotel, such as a ramen shop, Sukiya, Yoshinoya, and Lawson. A supermarket is also just a five-minute walk away, adding to the convenience.

The hotel doesn’t have a washing machine, but there is a coin laundry just a five-minute walk away, making it easy to do laundry during your stay.

The hotel is very close to Emmachi Station so it's a quick trip to Arashiyama or Kyoto Station. The hotel is walking distance to Nijo Castle, Kinkaku-ji and The Imperial Palace or a short bus ride. My room was very quiet even though the train line and a major road were very close to the hotel. Complimentary breakfast was available.

The back of the hotel faces a main road but the name is only in Japanese and the main entrance from the small side street has no visible signage until you've almost walked into the entrance. There are no washing machines on the property.

Great facility, clean, modern, near several public transport stops. It’s a short hop to all the major attractions. Convenience and drug stores a right next to it. And there’s restaurants all around. The staff were very friendly. The heat pump in the room actually worked unlike most other hotels. The rooms are a bit small definitely only meant for one person, but I don’t travel to hang out in a hotel room.

Only critique I have is that the wifi is bad, but not unusable. The breakfast is just toast and ramen, but it’s high quality bread.

The bathtub was large (larger than most hotels in my opinion) so you should have no problems showering. There was breakfast included but the toast, plain dried noodles and orange juice did not interest me. There was a coffee machine (like the ones at a konbini) that you could use anytime -- that was great. The location is about 5 minutes from the train station with several restaurants and a 7-11 nearby.

The walls are thin/poorly constructed and because of this when I had my AC at level 2, the walls and sounds of vibrations were noisy. The isn't a table and only the ledge running along the wall to put your laptop/food/etc.

was surprised to see there was a free breakfast offerred-- first morning and to my last morning breakfast was a loaf of bread to make toast with either butter and jam -- disappointing -- did see there was some sort of dried noodles that you could make with hot water but most of the time it was never offerred just sat in the kitchen area. sad

The room was spacious, with all the facilities. Very clean. Plenty of restaurants and convenience stores around the hotel. Five-minute walk from the Enmachi station (which is not a crowded one, being helpful). They say they don't offer breakfast, but they offer a simple toast with butter/jelly and there is a coffee machine available 24h, with hot coffee, tea, and even corn and onion soup.

I knew the rooms were Japanese style (with futons instead of beds, and they were very comfy indeed), but I missed a place to sit properly (they had only 1 floor chair available for the coffee table inside the room and we were 3 in our family)

Very good value for the money and the location is good if you want to stay close enough to Kyoto Station but still not too far if you plan to visit Arashiyama. There is a ramp next to the stairs when you enter the hotel, so luckily I didn't need to carry my heavy suitcase on any stairs. The room was comfortable and I slept well. Big enough space to open 1 suitcase on the floor, but for me as a solo traveller this was fine. But I think this room can feel a bit cramped if you travel with a partner. There is a lot of restaurants around the hotel too. If you're a tourist and want to try japanese food but don't like fish, I recommend to eat at Coco Ichibanya which is across the road from the hotel. Japanese curry is the best! (not spicy don't worry)

Only thing I don't like are the stairs before you enter the hotel, but was OK as they had a ramp next to it. The breakfast is very minimal, I didn't eat it, better to eat outside instead as Kyoto has many nice places to eat at. I think I saw some natto, miso soup, and maybe white toast bread? If you're western and stay here and expect white person breakfast, eat outside instead. For me I don't mind as I don't eat much breakfast anyway. The room is a bit small, but this is normal in Japan.
