was about a 10 minute walk to Nijo station, but bus was right out front and I feel like in Kyoto you use the bus more than the train to get around. Room was comfy and up to date. Bathroom did feel like a trailer bathroom but had no issues with it. For the price you can't beat this hotel and staff is super friendly and welcoming.

I was actually really caught back at how fancy this hotel is! Everything is extremely clean and new, the rooms are well equipped (TV, air conditioner, humidifier, water cooker) and the bathroom is also very spacious. There's also a public bath for those that like bigger baths! Overall a very enjoyable experience staying at this hotel and if I'm ever going to visit Kyoto again I will definitely be looking up its availability again!

The room was spacious but not enough to fit three beds -- it was a bit tight getting out of bed. The space around the lockers in the public bathroom was also kind of tight, so if there's a crowd you have to wait to get your stuff.

There were 3 washing machines and 2 of them were broken. 1 washing machine for the whole big hotel ! And the reception recommended us to go to the outside laundry as they didn't know when it would be repaired..

Literally a 10/10 experience at this hotel! The staff were so accommodating and helpful. We loved it so much we extended our stay 2 extra nights and they helped us with that! The room is comfortable, modern and the bed is even more comfortable. I think the highlight for us was the onsen in the hotel. They had showers supplied with shampoo, conditioner soap and skincare. It was basically a spa right inside of the hotel you have access to while you stay. The traditional Japanese breakfast was delicious and we paid for it 2 of the mornings we weee there. Location only 10 minutes from JR station and near Nijo Castle. Highly recommend!

The stay was excellent. The room was way beyond my expectations especially with the price I paid. The room has a fabric and air spray, all bathroom necessities smelled so good. The pillows were just the perfect amount of softness. The comforter was so fluffy like cloud. There was also an air purifier/ dehumidifier inside the room. It was also near a 24/7 convenience store. I don't know if these points are standard in all hotels in kyoto or japan but It exceeded my expectations in its price point. I am the type that doesn't give online reviews often but this place was that good for me to compose this one.

The location is great, basically next to a convenience bus stop. We barely had to walk any after hopping on buses everyday. The bathhouse was also nice and great experience. The facility was modern and comfortable to stay

For guests that stay more than 4 nights, they only clean on the third day. Most of the time the cleaning crew would just hang a bag of towels by your door. If you want them to clean, you gotta pay extra.I’m usually okay with that but the trash can is super small so I think they should at least offer to empty our trash every day and not ask us to put the trash bag outside of our room every day.

We felt staff were very welcoming and kind from the moment we arrived. There were complimentary drinks during the day and a drinks machine and lots of bits and pieces you may need such as toothbrushes, razors and cloths. Rooms didn’t have a lot of space for baggage but we managed fine. Rooms were very clean, staff collected rubbish each day. Air con was brilliant, nice cool rooms. My little girl loved the big bath and nice shampoos and shower gels. Hrs rooms were modern and peaceful, no noise at all. There is a handy convenience store across the road. There was a bus stop literally outside the door which took you to most places you might want to go, town was about 15 minutes away. It was nice to go back somewhere quieter after a busy day. We loved our stay!

Location wise is convenience to go to famous attractions around Kyoto. Bus stop is right in front of the hotel and a short walk to train Nijo Station, 3 stops away from Kyoto Station. Even though hotel is right beside the main road, however it is not noisy. Room size is comfortable enough for two of us. Beds are really2 comfortable. Bathtub is big 😄 There’s microwave at level 1 where you can heat up your foods and eat at the common room near the reception desk. The welcome drink station is really great. Their cold green tea is super good and refreshing. The washing machine is also convenient for us, there’s english instruction so do not worry on how to operate the machine. The staff are friendly and approachable 😊 The public bath was a great experience for us.

Situated near the Shibori Museum of Kyoto, Nijo park & castle and approx 10 min walk to Nijo station, location was ideal for me. Far enough from the hustle and bustle of central Kyoto but easy to reach by both train and bus. There are several buses that run on that stretch of road that will take you directly to the centre in about 30mins. On the train you are 3 stops away from Kyoto station The room was for Japanese standards very roomy with plenty of amenities in the room and as always stock-up is available in reception area. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to try out the hotel restaurant. Staff were friendly and reception was always manned.

Spacious room (not usual for Japan), good conections by public transport, bed was very comfortable

We came 55 minutes before regular check in and asked if the room was ready, and it was at that moment but they asked for extra fee for “early check in” just 55 minutes earlier. I haven’t expected such experience in country known for hospitality. Two girls at the reception even haven’t told us that we have welcome coffee in reception area. So female part of reception staff should be more educated. Later, the guy that have done the check-in was very well-informed and polite. Second thing is that they clean room every 3 days, and if you want everyday it is also extra fee, but at least you get new towels each day at your door.
