This hotel was so nice and clean. The room was a good size for our needs. Had a desk and mini fridge. Nice AC unit. Bathroom was clean and had a big bathtub. Staff was very nice. laundry in facility as well as a public bath. 7-11 was literally next door.

If this hotel was closer to the station, I would give it a better review. The walk to the station isn’t so bad, but when it is pouring down rain it feels so far away. Another downside was that the bed is super firm. It had no bounce at all and was stiff. I didn’t mind it so much, but my husband had a difficult time.

The hotel had a great price with all the amenities. We especially enjoyed the bath house. It was VERY clean and easy to access.

The beds were very very firm. At no fault of their own the location is a solid 15min walk from the train station which was tough with luggage. There is a bus station about 5min walk away

The breakfast I thought it would be bad but it actually was amazing and loved it. They put water downstairs to drink and ice pops to cool after going to the sharing bath I forgot the name in Japanese. But I enjoyed it I felt like I was actually in the house. What I liked the most was the women downstairs who cleaned the place and put the food for breakfast she was so kind I loved her so much, she is truly a heartwarming person. I’ll definitely come back

There was a phone in the house to ask questions or to bring something you have to go in the hallways to call the receptionist. But they actually helped me with everything

The value for money for first night was excellent but for 2nd night they asked much more. Spaceous room. Car parking for additional cost. Adjacent 7Eleven + 5min walk big Super Market. 10 min walk to subway station. Spaceous Lobby and possibility to relax at evening.

Staff not speak english at all. Nothing to do in this area at evening, we came with rented car and were able to drive to the center (15-20 minutes), otherwise it is complex.

The room is quite big for Japanese standards. Everything was clean and the hotel personnel very friendly and efficient. I really enjoyed using the public bath, especially because it was open until 1am. There are laundry machines available at the hotel as well as vending machines, though I never used them.

The location is a bit meh. There‘s a seven-eleven right next door but apart from that there‘s nothing really right in the vicinity as most tourist attractions are north of Kyoto Station and the Hotel is located in the south.

A few minutes (stations) away from the Kyoto station. However, it's about 10 minutes of walking distance to the nearest train station. Very good breakfast and public bath (onsen). Two very good and cheap supermarkets 3-5 minutes away from the hotel and also some dining options.

A bit far away from Gion and other tourist attractions... But some of the attractions are very close, i.e. the amazing To-Ji temple.

The ambience overall was good, you can even try the kimonos they provide. The onsen was nice too. We ordered vreakfast, it was a traditional Japanese savory breakfast. The staffs were very helpful.

The location, its a steep climb once you get down from the bus. Highly suggest to take a shuttle service if available from the train station to the hotel. While the entrance area was very nice, the rooms were not up to the expectations, the beranda area was not clean, the bed sheets seemed old (but clean).

Good location and great stay! Hotel staff are friendly and speak English. The room is good for 3 people. There's luggage courier service provided too. It is near a subway and a bus that go to Kyoto Station. There are eateries, convenient supermarkets, and restaurants.

Location is a bit out of the way, but there are plenty of public transport options nearby. Would've loved to use the public bath, but unfortunately I have tattoos so wasn't allowed. This was half expected though due to the culture so, disappointing, but fair.

Check was easy, staff excellent, hotel was great had everything needed, rooms good. The bed were good, would be ever better if had a mattress topper/make it a bit softer so less firm.

I booked 2 month out and the price much higher then normal. Trait of Japan everything much higher closer to time. The higher price is not justified. If it was the normal lower price, this hotel would be excellent.
