It was very heart-warming for us to have received a warm welcome from the hotel staff. I would like to specially give compliment to the young lady staff, that attended to our check-in on 02 Nov 2024 around 6pm. She was very polite and smiling. Apology that I had failed to get her name but she was very patience and explained clearly to us when we enquire about the transfer of our luggages from Toyoko Inn Kyoto Gojo omiya to Toyoko Inn Osaka Namba. We did not get to see her on the 04 Nov morning when we brought our luggages down. Her colleague had attended to us but we found that she had already helped us to fill in the transfer slip to ease her colleague in assist us on weight them. We felt so glad and appreciated her effort. Thank you

This was an awesome stay, I really enjoyed it. My mom and I were travelling and we got separate rooms, she's always cold and I'm always hot. The fact that there was a heat pump/air con in the room that we could control was great. Bathroom was small, as are all bathrooms when you come to Japan from North America, but the tub was exceptionally deep and long compared to many other hotel tubs. I'm a bigger fella, so a tub I can fit in was really nice. Breakfast was awesome, buffet-style, take only what you'll eat. They even had the menu on the tv in the room, asking if you'll join them the next day. Staff were friendly, helped us check in after a day of travel and were smiling the whole time. Showed us the table of amenities such as toothbrushes and razors in case we forgot something like that. The beds were quite firm, which isn't for me, but I know lots of people like that. 10/10 stay, will check here first next time I'm back in Kyoto.

The only thing I can think of was the location, it was a bit of a walk from the JR lines, which is what we primarily used (we had the JR pass). But there was plenty of local transit nearby, bus stops everywhere, that we could have elected to take if we wanted to save the walking. Don't let the walk (on level ground, btw) deter you from booking here.

Toyoko Inn Kyoto Gojo Omiya is in the Omiya area with convenient bus access. It had the best amenities of the hotels for our stay in Japan. The rooms were spacious and clean. The staff was super helpful with all our queries. All the tourist destinations were easily accessible from the hotel via public transport. Get a day pass for Kyoto to save money on bus and train. I would suggest 4 days in Kyoto. We had breakfast included in our stay and the breakfast spread was great, I would recommend to have it added to your stay There are small alleys in the vicinity of the hotel which you can take a stroll and experience old and modern Japan. There is a Lawson about 250m away if you exit to the left of the main entrance towards the intersection. Over and all a very nice stay and would highly recommend. The picture is of the smaller room we took the bigger one came with a sofa, a tea table and few more amenities.

Clean, great value for money, brilliantly located, and the free breakfast buffet gives plenty of different kinds of food to balance out your nutritional needs. The staff are courteous and helpful. The rooms have everything you need and more than enough for what you'd expect given the price point.

The beds are a little stiff for my liking, though this seems to be a Toyoko Inn thing rather than specific to this location. This also being a smaller location, you might find yourself queueing for the laundry facilities.

It was in a good location close to bus stops and a train station. It was quiet and had a konbini and food close by. The hotel was a little dated but had everything you needed and kept clean.

I booked for my daughter and I, she was free but towels were not free for her and I had to pay to use towels. Only one pillow provided and the bed was very very hard like concrete.

The rooms were nice and clean. I got 2 rooms, room for my hubby and me, and the other for my 3 girls. The family room I got for my 3 kids can sleep 4 persons. It's really big and has it's own sofa and a big space to walk around. Food was good too. There's a bus stop near the hotel. The convenience store is kinda far but it's fine.

The place was clean, comfortable and quite accessible to most attractions in Kyoto. The staff were super helpful and very informative. The breakfast was great with both Japanese and Western platters which were both tasty and filling.. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The bus stop is just about less than 100 metres from sides of the road. Very recommend. Regards Dhriti

The microwave helps a lot when you get back late in the evening. The staff is very friendly. Breakfast was good.

Nothing was bad. Everything went from good to optimal.

We enjoyed the breakfast spread very much, it was surprising as I was not expecting that it would be provided. The room was originally booked for one, but they were able to accommodate an additional traveler at a slight fee, which was great as the extra cost incurred from booking another hotel would’ve been way more costly. The room was also sufficiently cozy for two pax, and definitely very spacious for one. We were able to check in early and leave our luggage at the front desk too, which was helpful. Location was good, about 5 mins from 2-3 nearby bus stops. I also liked that there were USB ports available in the room.

The room is big. Bed is big suitable for 3 of us. Got a small table and chair. Very comfortable.

The breakfast is buffet style but it can be said that it's same everyday. But it was still OK for me as it's very budget already. Location is far if you want to go to those attractions places.
