Very close to bus stops which made it very easy to get to the closest train station and to get the buses to wherever I needed to go! The property was very clean and staff were very helpful! The buffet breakfast was fantastic too. It had a range of Japanese and Western breakfast options.

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like. I just found the walk from Gojo station a bit far with luggages and you had to go up and down a bridge to cross one of the main intersections. I would recommend those travelling with big luggages to catch a bus from Gojo station instead of walking. On a nice day, it’s a pretty easy stroll though! Also, there was no sauna at this APA property.

The check in Time is a little bit late but it’s common in Japan.

First of all, I would like to highlight the work of the front desk staff. During my trip, I was worried that my Japanese was not good enough yet and I had just started studying the Sonkeigo topic. But the staff member who greeted me and checked me in not only used Japanese that was so understandable to me, but also complimented my still poor knowledge of Japanese, which incredibly lifted my spirits. Also, all the other hotel staff were very welcoming and always ready to help. Incredibly delicious and varied breakfast. Friendly kitchen staff. The room was large, clean, cozy, very quiet. Thank you for fulfilling my special request. I really liked the origami figures that greeted me in the room. It's very sweet and welcoming. And it helped to immerse myself even more in the culture and atmosphere of Japan. The location of the hotel is very convenient. 20 minutes from the train station, 10 minutes from the subway station, several bus stops near the hotel. The design of the hotel is very beautiful and cozy. The Japanese hotel rules of staying are different from those in Europe, so I'm afraid I've added work for the hotel team. I'm very sorry. I'll be better prepared next time. Since childhood, I dreamed of visiting Japan, especially Kyoto, so this trip was special for me. The time spent in Kyoto will forever stay in my heart, also thanks to the work of the hotel team. There are still a lot of places that I haven't had time to visit, so I plan to visit Kyoto again and will definitely stay at this hotel. Thank you very much for your hospitality!

Everything was perfect.

The hotel is close to Kyoto Station and many bus stops. You can find supermarkets and restaurants nearby. The staff are very helpful and the foreign staff can communicate in English very well. The room is reasonable with two big beds, probably 4 feet each. We managed to put two big suitcases. The room had windows on both sides and we could see cars running in the road. It is still very quiet at night. The breakfast in the morning is a buffet style with good choices. The food is tasty and the staff are helpful and smiling.

The hotel has a perfect location (you have access to 3 different bus stops which help you plan your trips easily and get to the hotel easily). The room was very clean and spacious compared to other hotels in Japan. The staff was welcoming and kind.

It would have helped if they knew other languages outside of Japanese or Chinese. English would be ideal, but there's also Spanish, Italian, etc. They can also improve the breakfast area, although it is big the distribution can improve so that people can make a line to serve their food and then sit.

The staff was very professional and helpful. They tried everyting to solve the language barrier issue. The room was spacious and clean. I booked a room with breakfast included. The breakfast itself was buffet style, both western and japanese style food was available.

It was a bit further away from the attractions, but the bus system is really great. The hotel right next to a busy road, so if you are a light sleeper it might trouble you.

This was the biggest hotel room we had in Japan. It was very well equipped with super comfortable large bed and cool dressing gowns:) The location is good, however it's half hour walk to the center and 20 min walk from the main train station. It was nice and quiet though. The staff was very nice, stored our luggage, as we arrived early. The highlight was breakfast with huge variety of delicious dishes and drinks, definitely the best breakfast we had in Japan. I recommend this hotel for comfort and convenience. Would definitely stay again.

I lost my wallet one night. The staff was super friendly and went above and beyond to help me find it, specially one lady of the staff, offered to help me call the taxi company, she help me get to the koban station so I can talk to the police, she was great. awesome place, great location. super quiet. it even has a smoking area inside the hotel. Bus stations super close, shinkansen station super close, will be back.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. Good facilities, with an excellent buffet breakfast. The room was a good size as was the bathroom, comfortable bed, and pillows. It was about 2km from. Kyoto station and a short walk (800m) to Omiya station. Buses to other areas ran nearby, so getting around was pretty easy.

The location is fairly close to Kyoto station (about a 30 min walk - a scenic experience) and also across the street is a convenience store. Very close to the hotel are restaurants for dinner or lunch options! The cafe in the hotel for breakfast is delicious, definitely recommend buying the addition! They have laundry machines available for use and provided toiletries as well as yukatas. The staff were super friendly and the hotel itself was very nice and clean.
