Our space in Kyoto was fantastic and great value. Very clean and spacious in a quiet, non-touristy neighbourhood where we found little treasures close by including a bakery (Maruki), a yakitori-ya and a Thai masseuse. Having a washer in the room and a balcony to dry clothes was great. We found it easy to get around the city using public transport. We paid 1700 yen for the taxi from the train station to the inn.

Liked the location, quiet and convenient to transport and groceries. Easy walk up into the shopping district or centre of Kyoto . There was a good amount of space but it was poorly laid out and we ended up getting in each others way navigating the room. The neighbourhood was lovely and we felt very safe and relaxed.

The water temperature setting in the bathroom was a bit erratic. Not enough room to store luggage.. no pegs to secure clothing on outside line. City view was the wall and roof next door. Worst was the kitchen …basically no utensils. No extra plate or bowl for food preparation and the only saucepan was a bit of a health risk as it was so badly scratched. We had to buy tumblers for drinking out of and also for teeth cleaning. It was a bit difficult navigating a small spiral staircase with luggage…but,I should have researched better and would have known about the lack of elevator.

convenient location, short walking distance to bus stops and train stations, and grocery stores. The facility is clean and conveniently equipped with all you need. We appreciated the ability to cook some meals (especially vegetables and fruits) in the small but well-designed kitchen space after being away from home for many days. There is no in-person service, but everything is well labeled and explained in writing.

It would be more welcoming if the kitchen was supplied with some basic condiments, salt, sugar, tea bags, etc... we left what we bought and hopefully can benefit other tenants.

We really like the location since many establishments are a walking distance to the hotel. The area is also quiet and it is also near a grocery store and convenience store. It also has laundry area so we don't need to go to coin laundry shop. It also has microwave so we can just buy food from the grocery and heat it in the hotel. The room is also very spacious that we have space for our luggages. Thank you very much for the accomodation. We will be back when we go to Kyoto again.

Great unit with small kitchen and bonus washing machine. Very clean and comfortable. Small clothesline on balcony was handy. We saved money by buying our own breakfast from 7/11 and making it at the unit

There weren’t many restaurants around but the buses to the shopping and eating areas were only about 200m away. Once we worked that out we could go anywhere.

This is a clean, well appointed, large by Japanese standards, apartment, complete with kitchen and washing machine. I was concerned about the staff-less reception; but checking in was easy. There is a Fresco supermarket about an 8 minute walk away.

The room is no thing of beauty: bare cement wall, or particle board wall. The Inn is a 20 minute walk from the nearest subway station. The room had no smell, but the stairway leading to it had a strong cleaning agent odor.

The place is completed with all the facility we need for a long stay. Especially we have a toodler with us. They were kind enough to ask if we need small plastic bags for diaper. Location is prime... near many bus stop... walkable to Matsumoto grocery, very good ramen shop and Family mart... We requested for lower floor since we have big luggage and our kid cant go up that high, and it were granted. There were some issue with Booking during our reservation and the hotel staffs were very concern and helpful. Love the place over all.

Not that I did not like but if i could suggest. I wish they have a small folding chair near the door... that will help us more when we wear our shoes... Not a show stopper. But more people will enjoy this.

Very clean & comfortable studio flat. It had great amenities - a washing machine, which was very convenient after a few weeks on the road - a small balcony to hang laundry as well. The bed was super comfortable as well. We never met any staff members, but had everything we needed for our stay, and the host was very responsive if we had any questions. The location is pretty good too. You'd need to cycle, drive or take public transport to the main sights, but seemed okay for the price we paid. Would definitely stay again.

I was surprised by having an actual small kitchen, little bar stool area to eat, and two whole beds. It was quite nice! I also liked the bathroom. Included heater/air conditioner, and there were sockets right in the beds as well with a shelf on the bed. The facilities were very nice! You also didn't need to have a key, you were given a code. We also were able to call the staff from the front desk if anything was needed.

The stairway/corridor was concrete/metal, so I could see noisy guests coming up the stairs being heard from other rooms potentially, but it was perfectly fine for us!

Very comfortable appartment, everything that you may need, the host was kind enough to give a room on the ground as there is no elevator and it would be difficult to carry the heavy suitcases, we really appreciated the washing machine. The location was good with a bus stop nearby.

The check-in was too late (4 pm) and the checkout too early (10 am). However, i understand it the standard in Japan. No staff when needed.
