It was very clean and more spacious than the usual hotel room in Japan. Staff was also friendly and location is quite decent as it has bus stops near the hotel which brings you to Kyoto station and Arashiyama bamboo forest. Price was also affordable compared to the other accommodations nearby

The nearest metro station is 15mins walk away which is not very convenient for those who are carrying large luggages. Note that the public buses are quite cramp and it will be difficult to bring your large luggages onto the buses. So be prepared to walk quite a bit from the metro to the hotel.

The room was quite spacious. Lighting by zones. Safe, small refrigerator. Full-length mirror. Blackout curtains. Comfortable mattresses, thick pillows, high-quality bed linen. Cotton towels that absorb moisture well. The towels smelled of snow. Comfortable bath, although smaller in size than European ones. Fast water drainage, good water pressure in the shower. Toilet with heated seat, bidet. Shampoo, liquid soap - with a subtle pleasant aroma. Absolutely silent air conditioning - the first time I've seen this in a hotel. Breakfast nearly 6€: miso soup with mushrooms, fried mackerel fillet, salad, omelette, rice + several different seasonings for it. European: sausages / bacon, yogurt, toast with jam, milk, coffee. In the dining room from 12.00 to 6.00 there was access to a coffee machine (free of charge). Quick check-in. I left my luggage for several hours after check out. The hotel is located 5 minutes walk from the Temple and 20 minutes from the Castle, 20 minutes from the railway station. The hotel provides bicycles for free.

The room was really clean and quiet. It was small but enough for 1 person. Really easy to get there from Kyoto station, the bus stop is almost at the hotel's door. The staff is very niceand welcoming. It's possible to leave the luggage after check out. The hotel also offers a free bicycle rental.

If you have a heavy luggage, getting the bus back to Kyoto station may be tricky. The bus stop is across the intersection and you need to use pedestrian bridge to get there (no elevator or escalator). Alternatively, you may walk to another bus, a few minutes further.

The room is big like western hotels, clean, and bikes are for free and is the most important for me because bike 🚲 around in Kyoto is perfect, I visited 4 times, the hotel location is a bit far from Geon, but is quiet, next to a temple, 1 minutes to bus stop, 2 minutes to subway ( I didn’t use because I got bikes), not many restaurants next door but within 3 - w10 minutes walk are 8 restaurants, convenient stores are normal in Japan so, is 4 minutes walk, I recommend the next door fish restaurant by a young couple, foods are delicious, we eat and drink slowly don’t feel 1000 tourists are waiting to come in, for me after 3 times, this time I want quiet places… I went locals more than tourists areas, hotel doesn’t provide facial skincare, but all I need in bathroom, shampoo, condition, soap, hand soap, comb, toothpaste and brush, hair dryer… the price is good so I will return next March.

Bicycle 🚲 for free, big spaces room, quiet surroundings, next to bus stop, 1 minutes, got a local fish restaurant to sit, eat, drink after a 8 hours bike 🚲 day, ❤️

The breakfast was magical and tasty! I had one of the best breakfasts in my life there! Strongly recommended. But the location is kinda off. It has nearby bus stations but with the traffic, the better option is taking the subway. But the subway is kinda far from the hotel.

ı don't have any specific thing that i don't like about the place. Just the location. But they serve a bicycle rent!

Perfect hotel. Everything was perfect. Perfect service, instant check-in - check-out, the hotel has luggage storage, and the staff speaks English. Also, the room was seemingly larger than other rooms in other areas of Japan we stayed in, so we had plenty of room for our stuff. The location was quite central (I can say that the hotel was say 10-15 minutes from the main street with the shops and eateries in the centre), but quite far from attractions or points of interest.

The hotel itself was amazing. The staff's were kind, and they could also communicate well with foreign guest, the room itself was nice had lots of charging ports, the bed was also big for a twin size bed overall this hotel has been amazing

The two issues i have is the size of the toilet being kinda small but still manageable and the last issue being that the hotel offers only 1 washing machine and sometimes, it's a fight to see who gets it first

I'm a veggie and staff warned me not much vegetarian choice at bf; my friend did eat at hotel and found it satisfactory. Thanks to staff for letting me know in advance. Very central (walking distance from station even dragging suitcases and great location for walking around Kyoto -- close to some very interesting shrines and very attractive neighbourhood (small streets, shops, nice houses/gardens).

On a main road so a bit noisy BUT also therefore very easy to find and to travel to and from.

The rooms are a solid size andthe beds are comfortable. The bathroom looks reasonably new and there is breakfast available in the mornings. There is a bus stop outside the Comfort Inn which is across the street. Check in was prompt.

It is a bit of a walk from either train station and there is a chance you'll have to carry a suitcase up and down an overpass to reach the hotel. The step down from the bathroom might be a bit of a challenge for older guests.

It's lovely it's newly built and modern. You may find the room is a bit narrower than it is in the picture but it doesn't matter. All the staff speak standard English and they are really really helpful. Their English level is far beyond other hotel staffs in Osaka or Nara haha

The location is quite far from the railway station so it may be tiring at first, especially when you have a lot of luggage like our family
