We stayed at the new trailer hotel that just opened in 2023 and the view that we woke up to each morning brought pure joy and happiness. The staff were extremely helpful as well, although quite a few were new and still feeling their way around when we were there. The drivers were very willing to take us out to the ski resorts or bus stations on the days the shuttles weren’t running yet.

The fact that the shower is not en-suite was slightly inconvenient but when we were there there weren’t that many guests we were sharing with so it didn’t feel too bad. It was also cold getting to the toilet at night even though the toilet was just right outside the room.

Within 10 mins drive you can reach most ski grounds in Hakuba. Convenience stores and supermarkets are minutes drive away. You have all you need in the property, very comfortable tatami / Futons, the house was kept very warm with efficient heating, even though it was -5c outside with heavy snow. The staff from Reposer kept close communication while did not disturb our privacy. It was deep winter with heavy snow - they cleared our drive way while we were out. Very considerate.

It was such a lovely place. Comfortable, spacious and clean. Loved the interior. Host were very helpful with enquiries. We had a wonderful stay here with a group of friends :)

Just the location slightly further to the nearest town and bus station for shuttle buses(depending on the Villa you stayed). I recommend booking a vehicle, it will make your journey more convenient around the places. Other than that, it was all perfect.

We stayed in cottage “F” It was really nice and spacious! Easy access and very clean. Had a nice ofuro and very close to the ski resorts. Fully made of wood and had a wonderful stay. Lot of snow around the cottage and children loved to go out and play in the snow. It had a sauna too..hoping to go there again soon.👍

Not really much to say. There were some insects on the second floor. Not much though. I think it’s common these days.

Everything! The trailer/cabin we stayed in was beautiful, always warm, amazing view. The service was absolutely lovely, we felt bad we couldn't speak more Japanese as it would have been nice to be able to hold conversations. The owner, and the staff were all so hospitable. Would 10/10 recommend and we will definitely be staying here again on our return!

Cozy efficiently planned cottage perfect for our young family. Kids loved sleeping on futons in the attic. All the basic cooking tools and kitchenware available. 5-7 minute drive to Hakuba 47 & Goryu ski slopes, and restaurant area and supermarket. You will need a rental car for the stay to be practical.

Stairs are very steep and steps are relatively high. Do consider safety if you have young kids. The heater did turn off once in middle of the night on its own, but it worked fine once it was manually restarted.

We stayed for 3 nights and we were absolutely charmed by the beauty of the hotel, the room, the scenery, the service, so much so that we decided to stay one extra night! The purpose of our trip was to go skiing at Hakuba 47 and wanted a convenient hotel to stay in that were nearby. Reposer Hakuba met all our expectations and even more! The place is spotless clean, the wooden structure is gorgeous, the room was awesome and spacious, the Wifi works and is reliable (I took my Macbook pro since I needed to take work video meetings in the evening and the Wifi was absolutely reliable), the beds, comforters and pillows are super comfy, and all meals were superb and delicious. We highly recommend Reposer Hakuba to anyone wanting an amazing hotel to stay in the area.

We liked everything, it was perfect. We have no complaints at all. Only positive things to say about Reposer Hakuba. Comfort, delicious meals ,friendly staff, gorgeous place and scenery = perfection.

The property was so cute, I loved the little cabin. Had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. They had a pick up and drop off service which was so handy, as the property is slightly out of the way. Closer to Hakuba 47.

It was a little out of the way, which wasn’t an issue. I quite liked the location. We still walked to most places like echoland. And we got picked up every morning to drop us at the slopes and picked up also.

My experience staying here was the highlight of my entire 3 week Japan trip, thanks to the incredible staff! I was driven around mostly by Hiro, who was a huge help in assisting me with all my needs. (snowboard rental, supermarket, finding ATMs, etc) He even offered to take me out to a restaurant for the last night of my stay, on his own time! We had a few drinks together and he had me try some unique food. I cannot thank them enough for making my stay so memorable ❤️❤️

the bathroom was a bit small, but totally manageable! besides, i spent most of my time on the slopes or in town so it didn’t bother me whatsoever

The room felt bigger than I was expecting. Especially for 2 people with big suitcases filled with ski/snowboard gear. We didn’t feel crowded at all & this was after having 1-bedroom apartments in Niseko, Hokkaido 2 days before going to Nagano. The little sofa wasn’t expected so it was a comfortable surprise and when it wasn’t snowing, we had a beautiful view from the room/sofa. The room was very clean & the bathroom too. We had a lot of stuff to hang up every day after being on the mountain & there was a lot of space to hang things up by the room entrance. The drying room off of the hotel lobby was convenient too. We left boots, gloves & skis/board in there every night. The hotel staff picked us up and dropped us off at JR Hakuba Station and that was very convenient. They also dropped us off at Rhythm Ski Rental shop to get our other gear and Rhythm has a shuttle service too so they brought us back. We also got a couple rides into town and to the Happo One Gondola once or twice which was great but I think that’s not something they do in a normal non-corona year when every room is full. It was really quiet the first 3 nights there so I think we were just lucky that they were being so nice. We also walked into town every afternoon & evening & it was closer than I thought it would be. I think Echoland street/area with cafes/bars & restaurants was only about 12 to 15 minutes away and the walk is scenic. It was also not too far to walk the other way towards the gondola to get to other restaurants and bars and a couple of onsens as well. Probably 15 minutes too. I really liked the log cabin atmosphere and it felt like being in a cabin in the Colorado Rockies or Canadian Rockies which felt like a great escape within Japan after being stuck here due to corona international travel restrictions for the second winter in a row.

I usually have small things that I don’t like in most hotels but I can’t think of anything to dislike because it was better than I had expected.
