The breakfast was fantastic and the staff were so nice, helpful and friendly. The location is a relatively short walk from Nagoya station (~15 mins) with a suitcase. Other train lines and buses are also walking distance as well. The Nagoya castle is also walking distance though slightly further (~25 mins) with a casual walk. Their are book stores, excellent food, a massage parlour and 7 elevens close by. A Donxi is also a quick(~ 10mins) walk as well. The river on one side is beautiful and relaxing to watching while eating breakfast and their are canoe rides on offer close by as well. Their are complementary toothbrush and toothpaste, shaving sticks and creams and a vending machines for drinks. The ATMs unfortunately weren't working when I was there but not a big inconvenience as their was one 5 mins away as well. Overall the rooms are spectacularly clean and though I spoke very little to no Japanese, the staff everyone included, were exceptionally kind and helpful and friendly to me. Would definitely be staying here in my next visit to Nagoya and would also recommend others to try it as well. For the price it's a steal.

The staff was excellent, they spoke a very good level of English too. The room was the best one out of all the places I stayed in Japan, and since the price was among the lowest I paid, this was a very pleasant surprise. I loved that these rooms had split floors to take off your shoes and switch to slippers, no other hotel I stayed at did such a thing. It really made me feel more connected to the culture to have that, and kept the carpet in the room cleaner as a result. The size of the room surprised me, and inevitably led to the next room I had feeling small again. Significantly, the bathroom was nicely sized too; especially the tub which was large and wide enough to comfortably shower and bath in. The TV was nicely sized and positioned across from the bed in an ideal spot. The hotel's TV guide led me to Inuyama Castle, which I did not know about before and ended up being a highlight to see. The music that the TV played when entering the room was very peaceful and made the room feel upscale. The bed was very comfortable, the pillow was a little weird but I did not bother to go rent a free pillow from the lobby because I ended up sleeping just fine on the default pillow anyway. The light switches were on the bed's headboard, which was very convenient; and the desk was a nice size; with a ledge at the back, which was useful for setting apart small daily items like vitamins. The room itself was very pleasant to spend time in, and since my trip was halfway in by this point, I did spend a couple days mostly staying in the room to unwind and just relax with TV, I found this the perfect room to do so. Chukyo TV became my favourite TV channel (I later was bothered to find out it isn't available in Tokyo), and I enjoyed seeing stuff like Japanese dubbed Star Wars after getting in from a visit to the Sky Promenade.

There was some dust on the back of the TV, but this was nothing unique to this hotel, it seems to be common everywhere. The biggest complaint I had here was that the refrigerator did not work for safety temperatures for food. I liked to have milk every morning and would usually buy a couple of liters from a local Konbini, but upon realizing the first morning that my milk was tepid, I realized the fridge was not working at all. I found out some hotels just have fridges for "drinks" and they don't actually work at all, and certainly won't keep food like milk to a safe temperature. Luckily it wasn't far to buy smaller portions of milk at the Konbini each day, but it was a weird detail that marred an otherwise perfect room.

Had a two night stay with my young son so we could go to LegoLand. Coming from staying in Tokyo, this hotel was in a quieter area which was very welcome. Only a short walk to train station, shops, places to eat. Had dinner at a little Korean BBQ restaurant on way back from train station (fantastic food and lovely staff- great experience) Room was surprisingly quite spacious, very comfortable bed. Good range of amenities available on table beside lift in lobby. Ice machine and vending machine also in lobby. Had breakfast included in the rate, offered good range of Asian options, with western options of scrambled eggs, toast, sausages, fruit, yoghurt, sweet pastries. Bottled water on arrival. My son received a little pack with slippers and a toothbrush.. he was very impressed. The staff at this hotel were next level amazing. Super friendly and went out of their way to help. Check in was efficient and most staff spoke English well enough to have a chat with us. I really appreciated the extra effort they put in to make us feel welcome. We really enjoyed our stay.

No complaints, really enjoyed our stay.

Very nice hotel with friendly staff. The staff on the front desk spoke very good English. The room size is above average compared with other hotels I've stayed in Japan and also very quiet. I like that the desk in the room doesn't take much room while still being useful. I found a couple places to visit on the TV guide that weren't on my list, so that was nice. The hotel is in a pretty good neighborhood. The price was super good too. This hotel is nicer than other much more expensive ones I've stayed.

The refrigerator didn't seem to get very cold. That was not a problem, though

Small cozy modern room not far away from Nagoya station. Room felt very clean and modern. The hotel is next to a smaller river. However, my room wasn't on that side, so I can't comment on the view. Convince Stores and metro station are near, and the city is reachable in about 15-20ish min by feet. They also provide different pillows for guests to choose next to the reception. While I didn't use that service myself, I saw many other guests trying out some of them. All in all I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend this Hotel. ありがとうございます

The hotel was a reasonably short walk from the station and very easy to find, in a good area right next to the historical preservation district and within walking distance (or a quick train) to the Castle. The rooms (we had a single and a double) were a decent size and came with all the amenities we needed including a kettle, soap/shamoo/conditioner, minifridge and even a free bottled water each day. The staff were also very kind and helpful.

Only one elevator for the quite large building

Two idiot europeans here who booked a smoking room by accident. As soon as we got in the room we realized that we can’t stay in it due to our asthma. We went to tell the reception about the situation and straight away got moved to a no-smoking room. Very thankful considering it was our fault in the first place. The rooms were quite small but it was fine for one night and for what it cost (68 euros). Hotel is located close to Nagoya station.

Stayed in the single room on the first night and changed to a twin room on the second night as my children arrived. The twin room was spacious comparing to any other hotels where I stayed near Nagoya station. Its location is a bit of walk from the station, but if you don't mind it, this hotel is for you. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

If you arrive late at night and decide to walk from Nagoya station, it is not so safe for a woman to walk by herself. It is about 15 min walk in a quiet business area.

Would stay here again. Location is fantastic. Room was very good, clean, had hooks to hang a few clothing garments. Staff speak good english. Close to attractions, food places and transport. Hotel location is lovely to walk to and from. Can open the window for fresh air Lüften.

Nothing bad to review except there are only 2 old washing machines and dryers making it difficult to secure.

-Twin room is big, which is important for me -Eating area stays 'open' so you can go and relax there and watch TV. -Bathroom is a great size. -Great area, use Lawson 100 close by for snacks.

-Other guest footsteps are loud on top of head -No easy way to connect HDMI to screen which is regrettable because TV's are so nice. -Power outlets are few and on annoying spots.
