i notice we are the only family in the hotel, mostly it caters to working japanese on a domestic work related trip. the breakfast i like the most, the staff at the kitchen are lovely. the breakfast has takeaway container option - either you eat at the lobby or bring the food to your room. but breakfast is only till 9am..

there were only 2 pillows in the room. when i requested for additional 5 it was rejected by a girl staff (june10), so i did not sleep well the first night. the next day we went back to hotel i requested for just 2 extra pillows, it was granted! my tired legs from walking the entire day were rested because of the pillows! we need to elevate our tired and weary feet you know 😊 thank you to the driver who dropped us to Meitetsu Station, the track that will bring us to the airport 🙂‍↕️

The hotel is close to metro station, although it is not in the central downtown. The hotel provides shuttle bus with limited time to Nagoya station. I use it. The room is more spacious than I expected and is with traditional Japanese style clean.breakfast is simple but enough. Considering the money I paid, it’s a perfect hotel for a budget solo traveler. Then I also have a search, Tokyo inn is local Japanese chain brand hotel, I will stay with Tokyo inn when I travel in Japan. I will download app to book. The hotel provides very detailed hygiene products.

The staff was incredible, we had a little issue with post and they really helped us. Breakfast was a bit different every day which is nice for a longer stay. The bed was kinda small for two people but nothing is missing out from a stay. Towels changed daily. Combini is also close. Walking distance to most of stuff

Bed could have been bigger. And when asked for separate blanket because we sleep with two but we got ist a little blanket

Toyoko Inn Hotel is value for money. I love their Japanese breakfast so much and it's motivated me to wake up earlier each morning just to catch up with the meal. Their location is around 15 to 20 minutes from the closer train station. There's a franchise restaurant next to it which make it easier for us to grab a quick and relax dinner with just wearing pajamas. Staff were very helpful with all our questions and problems. Even their kitchen ladies were very friendly and greet us everytime and make sure we have a pleasant experience with their meal. They also provided more amenities we need during the stay in compared with other hotel (e.g. skincare packs) Many thanks for that. The only down side were the internet and their bathroom facilities may need a little upgrade.

Internet and ventilation

The hotel has quite small rooms but a lot of facilities that makes it great for travellers! There is a free shuttle to the station, a very nice breakfast with lunch boxes so you can take away your lunch. Free water and ice cubes, free shampoo, soap and even conditioner in a dispenser so more sustainable. There is a really cheap laundry service. Although Nagoya is quite a boring city ( great base to go to Legoland and to visit the Nagoya Castle but that's it) this hotel is a paradise for backpackers that try to find nice accommodation with a competitive price. The position is also good, close to the center and main station. There are many restaurants just in front of the hotel. Funny to see, when you are on holiday, business man having rise and soup for breakfast.

Rooms a bit small.

The breakfast is good, although on the limited side in terms of selection. The rooms are also comfortable and the room is quiet. The place is also near a subway station so the access is easy. Upon checkout they have a free shuttle to Nagoya station so this is also definitely a plus.

Good friendly staff! We got to hotel before check in time, we left our luggage with the staff. She was very friendly and she took care of everything for us. Nice and clean rooms. We took the hotel free shuttle to the train station next morning. Everything was great!

The walk from metro station Marunochi, from the red metro line is a long walk. If you take the metro back to the hotel, change to Tsurumai line (blue line) to Marunochi station. It's a much storter walk.

Great location, not far from a subway station, Nagoya castle and other good areas. The free breakfast was pretty good too and so was the shuttle to Nagoya station. The staff that I interacted with were very helpful and knew English.

The room I got was a bit dirty. Found dried up contact lenses on the table, and the inside of the air conditioner really needs to be cleaned, like it really needs to be cleaned asap.

A perfect location. The free Shuttle Bus to Nagoya Station put you right at all the right busses and trains to help you get around the city. The staff was very helpful with all my requests. The buffet Breakfast each morning was free and delightful.
