We are travelling for 7 months and reviewing everywhere we have stayed. First of all the location is great if going to USJ, the hostel itself is nice and very secure and as standard in Japan, the bathrooms are very clean

Not a problem for me but maybe for others, no staff around. Biggest problems though were the very thin mattresses which are rock hard and uncomfortable. The other is the stone cold floor in the room making the room very cold. Could be fixed easily enough by putting a mat down to make it warmer and be removed for the hot summer months

Very nice, quiet and modern Hostel. Everything was very clean. The entrance area with the small terrace is very cozy and invites you to chill some minutes and drink a coffee before you go out exploring Osaka. For Coffee Connaisseurs, the Marzocco machine is incredible ;) The JR Station is a 2min walk from the hostel. My girlfriend appreciated that there are separate shower rooms for Womens that you can lock with a Code. The Two Washing Machines you can freely use are an absolute plus.

Amazing location for what we were after during our stay in Osaka, also very close to USJ. Could visit most popular destinations/wards by train in ~20-40mins. Located outside the train station, right across the street, cannot even put into words how good it felt to only need to walk another 1-2min after a long day of walking. 2 7-Elevens right next to the station for easy meals/snacks and a moderate selection of places to eat just next door. The room, toilets and showers were nice and clean during our stay. Sufficient space in the common area to chill and eat food.

These did not bother me much during my stay but for others to know, the walls are extremely thin and the mattress is quite firm. Providing disposable slippers would have been nice and convenient.

Although no permanent staff all arrangement in line were fine as were the codes. Clear with large communal area although didn’t feel a hostel where folk socialised. Bedroom was clear and had sink fridge and microwave. Showers and toilets always clean. Right next to J loop station so easy to connect around Osaka and doorstep for Universal. Would definitely return

Great location with a super close station opposite to the hostel. Many restaurants and shops. Moreover the room was spacious and in the shower room they had whasing machine and a dryer, for free!! This was a must. A special mention to one of the staff members - Inho- he was so nice to us and help us when we were in trouble . So millions of thanks .

We really enjoyed the handy location nearby to the train station, with a 7/11 almost opposite. The staff were very friendly and happy to chat with us when we saw them. The facilities are clean, the shared kitchen has enough space to prepare some basic meals with good fridge space too. Our room was clean with a very useful fridge freezer and desk included. We liked the bar which was open in the lounge area on Friday and Saturday nights, the drink selection is mostly spirits/wine. We really liked the free laundry facilities with detergent provided, this was very handy.

We stayed in a twin bunk room and the beds were a little hard. We had hoped that the cafe (which was also the bar on the weekend nights) would've been open fot coffee etc but it was not, maybe this is due to the impact of Covid? The water temperature in both the women's and men's showers could be temperamental needing to be run for a little bit to get hot some of the time.

I stay at this accommodation every time when I come to Japan through my business trip but I never got disappointed so far. Quality is high for the price.

The other Korean tourists were loud and they kept breaking the entrance lock. I had been almost locked out because of those men. The manager made them apologize to me after contacting him to deal with it so it was okay eventually.

incredible online service with helpful staff reply message immediately and really early self check-in started from 00:00 on the booking day!!! though we never meet the staff during this stay, the instructions are very clear for every entrance to each area, and don’t forget to fill up the form of your stay. 2 mins. straight walk from JR NISHIKUJO station exit with elevator. we got a bunk beds room for two persons, with sink, refrigerator, microwave and desk inside. sockets and night light at every bed. well cleaning, well air conditioning, well equipped, even got free washing machine and dryer in the shower room! it supposed to be full booking but we rarely met others in the hostel, everyone keeps quiet there! it pops up oneday after a long search for the stay in OSAKA, that’s why i think it must be a hidden list on websites and we got luck this time!

only stairs to rooms on 2nd floor but the stairs are big enough for carrying suitcases. also though there is no baggage storage service, it is totally not a problem for such a good place and other great service.

This is in the perfect location in Osaka! You're one train stop away from Universal and like 2 stops away from Dotonburi. There are many convenience stores and restaurants nearby, and you're just 2 minutes walking to the train station! But it's so quiet! The cafe downstairs no longer serves drinks, but it's still a nice space to relax or have dinner. The room was huge! We had plenty of space with our own sink, a fridge, microwave, desk, storage...it was perfect! We really loved our stay here. And the bathrooms and everything else were sparkling clean.

Everything was great!

- quiet; we barely saw or heard any other guests - clean facilities; communal bathrooms and showers were kept very clean - close to the subway station and convenience stores - 12 minutes from Universal Studios, meaning we could get there early! - option for outdoor seating in communal areas was nice

- mattresses were a little hard - all of the flooring is concrete, perhaps slippers would be good for when using the communal facilities or moving around the room
