The staff was so nice! Everybody was keen to help us in every way, especially the woman at the reception. We rarely had someone this nice and this helpful!! The room was really big, the beds confortable

Breakfast was included but they haven't specified beforehand that it was a Japanese breakfast only, with no bread and... no coffee 😳 Everything was really great but we have to talk about the bathroom which was an issue. First, it was really really small but then we can cope with that. The real issue was that it was soooo dirty! There was dirt under the faucet with black stuff falling into the bath, and dust into the nooks and crannies, which was humid and really repulsive But all together, it was a great stay, once again, especially due to the staff

We booked in here for the start of our Japan trip. On arrival the staff were welcoming and very helpful. The room was on the fifth floor and was a decent size, we were a family of two adults and two children 6 & 11 and there was ample room including a large cupboard for the clothes. There was a double bed and two queen sized beds and a small table with two seats. The window looked out onto the neighbouring building but we wasn’t there for the views out the window and enough light could still get in. Breakfast was served from the adjoining Korean restaurant and Korean and Japanese breakfast was on offer no buffet or western style food was on offer which was seen on their website. The main town was within a short walk and also short walks to the many subways to travel further a field. I would stay here again.

Nothing was disliked about this place

We stayed at this hotel in Osaka for three nights with our children and had a truly wonderful experience. The hotel itself, the room, and the location were all excellent-clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. We especially enjoyed the delicious and hearty breakfasts, which gave us a great start to each day. It was also very convenient to have a good restaurant located right inside the building. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely love to stay here again on our next visit to Osaka.

The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. My husband and I are from the Untied States and have limited Japanese speaking skills. However, this was not a problem with their staff. They were still incredibly courteous and helpful. The breakfast that was served was so delicious, too! I'd like to start by taking about the location: this hotel is very conveniently located about 15 minutes walking distance from Dotonburi. My husband and I also decided to walk to Osaka Castle, which is about a 40 minute walk but WELL worth the walk as the local area is incredibly pleasing to look at. There are also several convenience stores and the train station all within walking distance. As for the room itself, it was very quaint and exactly what we needed for our two night stay. The room was very quiet, generally, with the exception of a few people in the halls, which was at no fault to the facility. The beds and pillows were firm, but surprisingly comfortable. The rooms come with complimentary toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and wash rags which we used as a trial at first but then ended up enjoying a lot. We would absolutely recommend Hotel Kojan and will be glad to stay again if we are in Osaka.

The location of this hotel is great! We would walk to Shinsaibashi and Dohtonbori all the time from the hotel. Subway stations are also near it. The rooms were big compared to other nearby hotels I saw online. The breakfast was a mix of Japanese and Korean food with continental options and it was good. The staff was very friendly and helpful, they answered my questions before my trip and when we accidentally left my dad's jacket in the hotel room they helped us to get it back. I highly recommend it!

There's no reception from 11 pm to 7 am so you buzz yourself into the hotel. It's okay for us but some people might find it a hassle.

The location was excellent. Near to train stations, lots of eating and drinking places on every street around and leading all the way down to Dotonbori which is a 10 min walk. Shinsaibashi suji shopping street is a 5 minute walk away for all your designer shops and every day shopping.

The room had a bit of a musty smell. Possibly it's been a smoking room in the past, not really sure. The hotel description said laundry, BUT, this is NOT washing machines on site. This is a laundry collection service ( approx 1300yen) for a small basket 🧺. So if you want a washing machine be aware.

The staff was extremely helpful and also very good at English. They also have a restaurant connected to the hotel if you get hungry. But the best feature was the ice cold water in the foyer for which there were metal cups. Very good for the environment. Beds were comfortable and AC a life saver during hot Osaka summers.

I think we misunderstood how room cleaning worked so we never got our garbage can emptied. But that's our fault for not knowing how it works perhaps. Hmm, maybe a little sheet with information about cleaning procedures would've helped.

Great location. Friendly staff. If you are lucky enough to have the free breakfast as part of your booking we got something different every day.

Great courteous staffs. Room is neat and tidy with ample towels and a hi-tech toilet. Automatic bidet and seat warmer. Good exhaust fan in toilet for air circulation. Nice comfy single beds with thick comforters. Nice brand of shampoo and soap, even comes with hair conditioner. Wifi works fine with good speed. Toiletries and coffee provided with an electric kettle. Comes with a bath tub too. Owner is very good to let us check in earlier as we arrived early. Very near Nagahoribashi metro station within walking distance. Crysta Mall nearby has many eateries and there are convenience stores nearby (7e and Lawson) which has almost everything we need. Dominos Pizza and coin laundromat are nearby too. Value for money.

Toilet a bit small to move around.

The hotel was very central and we had easy access to all the shops, restaurants and attractions Osaka has to offer. The hotel itself was simple, clean and comfortable, but thing that stood out the most was how amazing the staff were. We asked if we could book a taxi from the front desk as we were having difficulty booking through the apps and they were happy to accommodate. Unfortunately, the taxi company cancelled on us, and in a 5am panic, we called the reception to see if there was something they can do to help - the lady at the desk grabbed her keys and drove us to the airport herself! To say they went over and above to help us out would be an understatement.
