The location is Excellent. Close to everything and easy to get around the Dotonbori area and beyond. Lots of interesting things and a very fun neighborhood. Very clean. Very secure. Helpful tip: by law, they need passport pictures on file. Since this is an unstaffed location, they will ask you to upload it online for each and every traveler in the room. This made me uncomfortable but we did it and everything was absolutely fine. So this is your reassurance that it's legit and safe and normal procedure in Japan. Staffed locations will photocopy your passport on check in instead of online. The beds were very firm and the pillows were double sided, one side with hard lumpy (buckwheat maybe?) And the other side softer with cotton but still firm with the hard side underneath. It wasn't the most comfortable, but also not so uncomfortable that it bothered me. It was just fine. I guess it's nice for people to have choices. The bathroom was very modern. The microwave and fridge were very handy. There's like 5 different conbini within a few minutes' walk. The family suite had space for us all and our luggage. There are ceramic dishes in the cabinet under the sink. The digital lock code system is very secure and we felt very safe. Overall, I would stay here again. The price was also right. Thank you!! Helpful tip: the cleaning lady doesn't speak English, but with my broken Japanese I learned that the trash can go in the little dumpster right outside the entrance. In case anyone else wonders what to do with full trash cans. :) not a negative at all. Just a helpful hint for other travelers wondering the same thing.

Maybe softer pillows as an option would be nice. Not a big deal or problem. Still loved our stay overall.

Room is ok

Not enough lockers for guests when we checked out early and wanted to leave our luggage in the lockers. Most of the lockers when we opened are all Hotel linen for Hotel use. The lockers are suppose for Hotel Guests not for Hotel use.

The location was great as it was pretty much 5-10 mins away from Shinsaibashi itself. Plenty of food and night life. It had a microwave, plates and cutlery, mini fridge so it was great. Check in process was via the tablet at the front and we never needed to contact for any help. Locker facilities was good as it was only 100Yen otherwise at stations you would be looking at around 500 Yen upwards. The place offers the free use of the washing machine but it takes around 3 hours. There is a self laundry 3 mins away and better you just pay 400yen to have the washing done in 30 mins then 100yen per 10 minutes for the tumble dryer.

Well set up rooms that are great for families, and the cooking facilities were handy. Location is great, a couple of metro lines are nearby, it's a quick walk to Dotonbori and there's hundreds of bars and restaurants within blocks of the hotel. Lockers in the common area are very handy, as was the laundry facilities. Even though it's unmanned, it was no problem, the instructions are clear and when we needed help the staff were really responsive. We stayed twice in different rooms - one a Japanese style (one larger sleeping area) and the other a family room (with two separate bedrooms). For our needs (with two kids) the Japanese one was much better laid out - you can pack up the bedding and they had space to muck around on the tatami (which they were very into).

As mentioned in other reviews, there's no lift, so keep that in mind but it's not exactly a high-rise so it isn't too bad if you're able to do stairs. The check-in procedure is definitely one you want to complete in advance as it can take a long time (it's a standard procedure in Japanese hotels, but some places do it for you). Given the location in a nightlife area it can get noisy when the bars close, but it's otherwise nice a area! Rooms.dont seem to have blackout curtains so it got very light very early - pack a mask if it's a problem!

The hotel is ideally situated, just a 5-minute walk from a metro station, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. Despite being so close to the bustling areas of Shinsaibashi and Dotonbori, less than a 10-minute walk away, the hotel is located in a quiet street, and few corners away from some very nice restaurants. This combination of proximity to key attractions and a serene environment makes it an excellent choice. Highly recommended for travelers looking to balance convenience with tranquility.

The room was very practical and thoughtfully designed, providing a comfortable stay. However, there are a couple of areas for improvement: 1. Our room had a small hallway where we could just fit our four pairs of shoes. A shoe rack would be a useful addition to keep the area organized and make better use of the space. 2. The small pantry was convenient, but adding a small shelf or rack would be helpful for storing extra items and maximizing the use of this area. Implementing these changes would enhance the overall functionality and comfort of the room.

The location is great as it's just about 500m walking distance from the Shinsaibashi-Suji Shopping Street. The neighbourhood also has lots of eateries and convenience stores. There are coin lockers available at 100 yen for use after checking out if your flight is not so early. There are also washing machine and dryer available for use at no cost at the shared kitchen area.

There is no lift in this hotel. As we were staying at level 4, dragging the luggages up and down is a bit challenging. We booked two rooms, the toilet size for one of the rooms was really small but that was kind of common in Japan.

Check-in was incredibly fast and seamless, making for a smooth start to our stay. The online staff were helpful and informative, providing all the details we needed. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk from Shinsaibashisuji, Dotonbori, and other central areas, making it perfect for exploring Osaka. Plus, it's conveniently close to the metro, making city travel a breeze. With countless dining and shopping options nearby, it’s an ideal spot for those who love to go out and enjoy the nightlife. Highly recommend for a stress-free and well-located stay!

However, keep in mind that there are no elevators, so you’ll need to carry your luggage up the stairs. Because it’s in a lively area, it can be a bit noisy at night, especially if your room faces the street. If you're a light sleeper, earplugs might be a good idea.

Location location location! Great for its value! Right at the heart of Shinsaibashi - location says it all. We were only 5min away from subway station and shinsaibashi. The value of our stay was also amazing. It’s almost half the price of a of regular hotel. We had 5 people and stayed at a connecting room unit - each room had a bathroom which was great! The space is relatively tight but the unit really maximized the space with bulk beds.

We were further from Dotonbori where we booked a lot of restaurants. Walking is about 10min to Dotonbori but still manageable. Do not rely on the washer/dryer - it took us 4 hours to wash/dry a load and it’s not even dried!!! The washroom/bathroom was SO small so it can be difficult for any bigger persons. Also - no elevator. So if you are in higher floors, expect to walk up. No front desk - so lots of passcode to remember and register.

It was clean and spacious enough for 3 people. The place is not far from the subway, bus stop and the famous Dotonburi. Separate bathroom and toilet (nice). The price was great. There was 2 washing machines in the 1st floor that can be used together.

There was a problem when checking in, the pin number couldn't be used to unlock the door then we called the staff from the lobby but he couldn't speak English well. We finally opened the door after getting a new pin number from the tablet in the lobby. I had booked the 2nd floor, and sent a message to confirm it for my parents' reasons, but our room was on the 3rd floor.

Location. Walking distance to MRT station, shopping and dining areas. And a big Thank You to Ms.Yano (hope I got her name right) and Mr.Liu for helping me send my bag left behind, to the airport to me before my departure. Much appreciated.

The bathroom/toilet is on the small side. No bowls/plates to use in the room kitchenette. Lack of elevator to access the floors. Loud noise disturbance every night in the early mornings with drunk patrons from restaurants and pubs around there, making noise shouting, singing and laughing..
