We loved the breakfast - such beautiful food, well presented and great choices. Lovely hospitality from wonderfu staff. The location was incredible - we had a lot of fun exploring and trying new foods. The market was a real highlight.

The hotel is welcoming, and the lobby smells nice when you enter. The front desk staff are very friendly and helpful, especially Ms. Akiguchi. As first-time travelers to Osaka, we had many questions, and she patiently assisted us with luggage transfers to Tokyo, directions to Nara, and other things we needed to know. Her excellent English made everything easier. There are a few downsides: the hotel only provides one key card per room, and there’s no lounge or communal space, so we had to eat in our room. It would also be nice if they offered lunch or dinner instead of just breakfast. Overall, it’s a good place to stay because of the friendly and accommodating staff.

Great location with 2 metro lines within a 10min walk, also a 15-20min walk from Dotonbori and right next to Shinsaibashi shopping street. A lively and central location. The rooms were spacious and clean with housekeeping well maintained. Plenty of amenities in the front lobby and in good supply. Breakfast is freshly cooked and rotated. Staff are all friendly, respectful and helpful - guided us on luggage shipping.

Same breakfast selection on all days, no rotation/variety. Beds are a little hard but still comfortable to sleep in after a long day.

Friendly-enough staff, but English was a bit of an issue. I speak Japanese decently, so it wasn't too much of a problem, but other foreign travellers might have some speed-bumps.

The room smelled like body-odor. I told front desk about it and they tried to change both my friend's and my room, but could only facilitate one room. I gave it to my friend because his room smelled worse than mine. After returning to my room, I figured out that the body-odor smell might have been coming from the wood used for the new renovations. After that, I felt better. Room was clean and well-appointed for the price. Bathroom was also very clean, no smell of mold, as in my previous, different hotel.

The hotel is in an excellent location in Shinsaibashi, with easy access to the subway, restaurants and only a short walk from storefronts. The staff were exceptional especially the woman managing the breakfast area during my stay.

The dining area for breakfast is possibly a little small creating congestion on peak days but this was only really an issue when other guests weren’t considerate of others.

The staff were super nice, the room was good for one person, the amenities buffet was complete, and the location was super central and walkable everywhere. The facilities had a laundry section and also a vending machine, so helpful when travelling for more than a week. The shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel were really good.

I wish there was better soundproofing of the windows in the room. The only thing missing in the breakfast was the option to have soy milk, but I had super good black coffee. But these are not major things for me.

The location was pretty good, and there were clear and detailed instructions on the hotel’s site on how to get to them, just next to the train station. Walkable to both Shinsaibashi and Dotonburi. Breakfast was tasty even though the choices stayed the same throughout the few days we were there. Room was quite big and it was the only hotel we could open our luggage’s fully in

We were able to check in after midnight when our flight into Japan was delayed and the hotel had no issue. The hotel was in a great location for getting around Osaka and was clean with pleasant staff.

The beds were not comfortable for side or front sleepers, and if you are taller than about 6’ 4” you will not fit in either the beds or the shower.

The location is excellent. Walking distance to all the great places in Dotonbori. There's some amazing foods around the hotel too and a fun little takoyaki truck that's sets up in front. Rooms and restrooms are standard for japanese hotels. They're small with a functional tub restroom. Suitable for 2 people. Hotel staff is super nice and friendly. They're very accommodating and can help with a lot of things like help with Japan post forms.
