Get there: With heavy luggages we find Daikakocho station exit 6, with lift is the best .7 mins Walk from hotel, walk on the road that has 2 supermarkets, one of them is Life supermarket . Pls avoid main pavements , roads with smooth surface is better . Pro: we enjoy privacy as there is only one room on each level. Movie screen provides great family entertainment. The best hotel we have stayed, we will be back again . 2 min from a take-out meal store , 3 mins from family mart. Free breakfast at S presso central , 5min walk .Very good food. Provides luggage storage at Sakimoto till 5pm., take exit 5,escalator up , 1min walk to Sakimoto. 4 beds, make packing luggaegs very easy. Con : distance from Namba metro station is 17 min, from Daikakochu is 7 mins

Supermarket, convince store, restaurants nearby. A bit far from train station but with all the shops around I like it better this way. Staff replies very fast. Only one room per floor. PIN number to go into the room so no need to worry to keep the key.

We had the room cleaned twice during our stay. First clean was great. The second time, I think the cleaner only made the bed and threw away the rubbish. We had a wheel chair and where we keep the wheel chair ( we took it when we go out), the sand wasn’t cleaned. It’s not vacuumed and the bathroom was still wet so obviously the cleaner didn’t open the bathroom door or just had a look and decided it doesn’t need a touch. We reduced the third time coz we don’t want a stranger just to walk in and do nothing.

I stayed at this hotel both last year and this year. It was very clean and spacious, with plenty of kitchen utensils, allowing us to stay as if we were living there. It was quiet with no noise, and the staff were kind and helpful. When my husband, who doesn't understand Japanese, forgot the room's passcode and couldn't get in, they responded politely and assisted him. The location is also excellent—just a 5-minute walk from Daikokucho Station and 10 minutes from Namba. There are also large supermarkets and plenty of restaurants nearby. All is perfect!

Lots of space, large bedroom and full kitchenette and eating area. Nice and quiet neighbourhood and not too far from the train station. Close to a grocery store and the accommodation had very responsive staff through the message platform/email. Easy access with door codes and suite codes.

Odd shower situation (unlike anything I’ve experienced before), the beds were alright (very firm) and the pillows were quite uncomfortable and stiff. Some noise from the above unit which made it a little noisy to sleep, but with ear plugs it would be ok. If you’re looking to store your luggage before or after, you would need to drop it off at a different location as their are no staff at hotel west.

Pictures were accurate. The property was in a good location, not much noise from traffic even during the day. Apartment was much bigger than expected especially for being in the city. Was a very comfortable stay and nice bathroom too. Everything was spotlessly clean and we liked that downstairs we could drop off used towels and robes and replace them with fresh ones whenever we needed to. We didn’t have any interaction with staff at the property as we checked using a QR code in the lobby while speaking to someone through a speaker. This was quick and easy. Convenient having a code to get into the building and a separate code for the room was much more convenient than a key card.

Nothing negative to say

I really enjoyed my stay at S-Presso. The apartment is spacious and feels more like a small Airbnb than a typical hotel room, which was a nice change. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay, and the layout makes it feel cozy and homey. A unique bonus is the privacy — with one lift serving only one floor and one room, it feels very secure and private. It's a very short walk to the station and Namba so that's also a big plus.

The only downside is that security is fully managed through a keypad system. Which isn't bad but it may be a problem for others.

I really liked the hotel faclities and the access to get in and out, it was close to supermarkets which was great as the apartment had cooking facilities. It was also not too far from the Namba subway station. There was also a laundry mat right acorss the road, so you could use the washing machine in the apartment but use the dryer across the road, and the laundry mat was pretty cheap too. The size of the rooms were massive and so comfy. The hotel check in and check out was all done online so no one was there to greet you, but that was okay, it was pretty quick and east to do with qcodes.

It was a little bit further from Namba station than I thought but still okay.

I went on a family trip and booked this apartment for a family vibe. We appreciated a seamless check-in process for our apartment. The instructions, including the access code and directions for self-access, were clear and easy to follow. We arrived before the 3 p.m. check-in time and requested the staff to store our luggage in a their storage room located in a different building just in front of Namba station. This was very convenient as it allowed us to explore the area and did some shopping without the burden of our belongings. We picked up our luggage before the 5 p.m. closing time was hassle-free, and we then proceeded to our reserved apartments within walking distance. The accommodations pleasantly surprised us with spacious rooms, a big difference from the typical compact size found in Japan. Additionally, the fully equipped kitchen provided a homey touch. A standout feature was the single-room layout per floor, ensuring a quiet and undisturbed night's sleep without the disruption of neighboring guests. The apartment's location offering easy access to the train station and a nearby large supermarket. Overall, our experience was marked by a combination of thoughtful amenities, convenient services, and a strategic location, making it a highly recommended choice for travelers.

While we did notice some dust around the air conditioner cover, the remainder of the room was well-cleaned, which made the overall experience satisfactory for us.

The room was spacious with kitchen and washing machine. Suitable for travelling with family. We had the whole floor to our self. The staff was helpful.

The hotel lack luggage storage facility, but they provide a storage facility at another location (800m away). With so many luggages we had to take a taxi which cost us JPY1,250 to get there. It would be better if they could store our luggages on site. Also, it would be better if the washing machine had dryer too.

Hotel S-presso is a cool little hotel where guests can check themselves in and out easily and the breakfast is free. I was impressed with the location which is a short walk to Dontonburi (trust me, eat the street food). It's also close to the major train stops so you an get anywhere you need to go easily.

I don't have any real criticisms. There is a clothes washer, but no dryer and no clothes iron in the room. This seems to be a cultural thing, but Americans should beware, you'll have to line dry your clothes like everyone else!
