Room's styling was a nice departure from a typical drab business hotel. Saw fewer outlets than in other hotels, but the headboard had USB ports, which meant bricks weren't necessary to charge devices. Also had a panel of light switches for fine control of the room's lighting. Staff was friendly and helpful when needed. Location offers good transport access- 10 minutes to Osaka Station, adjacent bus stop and a number of places to shop and eat nearby.

Small room and bathroom, don't really have space to open a carry-on except for the bed. Sometimes noisy outside, but nothing that ended up disturbing my sleep. The hotel breakfast was merely okay, despite the fancy appearance of the dining facility. Not much to do in the immediate area, at least in my case.

The hotel common areas and rooms are really stylish. In the lobby there is a wide range of amenities available. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed. In the headboard there are USB ports and a power outlet as well the room light controls. The bed was firm, the pillows soft .There are laundry rooms available and you can have breakfast in the Gatsby Cafe on the first floor. Access to guest floors is controlled by your room key. The rooms are cleaned every three days but you can have fresh towels daily on request. The hotel is very close to Osaka and Umeda train stations, but access is via an underground walkway, the nearest stair access is M10, escalator access M6. There is not elevator in this area of the underground walkway.

Booked a single room as was travelling alone for a long weekend. The room was great but if you have a suitcase, the only place to fully open it would be on the bed.

Staff were respectful, polite, friendly and approachable. We were early for check in. By the time we returned to check in, they have sent our luggages to our rooms. This allowed us to go straight to our rooms without dragging our luggages. Walking distance to subways, buses, convenience stores, pharmacy and food. Convenient taxi ride. They provided kids amenities and towels to our children. They had high quality shampoo and face wash in the room. They provided hair-dryer, hair straightener and curlers in the room. Easy check in and easy check out. Drop your key cards for check out is all it took. Nice and quick. Highly recommended this hotel. One of the best hotels we've stayed in Japan by far.

Absolutely nothing.

The room was great! - We booked two rooms (for me and my parents) and we had rooms directly next to each other, which was amazing! - The beds and the blanket were super comfortable, I was actually sad to leave. - Despite the busy streets nearby (with bars etc), it was quiet. Inside the hotel as well, I could barely tell other guests were there. I think they have good soundproof walls. - The bathtub was also nice. - I only saw when I was about to check out, but they had a really amazing smelling air/fabric freshner by the door, I even ended up ordering it online the next day. - A supermarket (LIFE) and many convenience stores nearby! - Also, it was close to Umeda/Osaka station (about 10-15 min walk).

- We saw there are many love hotels and bars in the street nearby, which made us worry about the location at first There were also some drunk people near the convenience store next to the hotel a couple of times, but nothing too bad (still wanted to mention it). - The fridge in my room was rumbling quite loud at times, and I even turned it off for the last two nights. My parents didn't have that issue in their room, so maybe just bad luck for me. - Being one person, I had only one cushion in the room. I prefer to sleep with several, and I thought on that big bed, one cushion more wouldn't have hurt? But that's maybe only a me-thing.

The best part was the staff. They were the friendliest, most accommodating hosts. They went out of their way to be helpful.

They had a lot of rooms which means they take in a lot of guests, but they only had 2 washing machines. It was difficult to get laundry done because the machines were always occupied and you had no way of knowing unless you went down to check if others were done. The room was considerably small, and that's fine. There were only 2 pillows on the bed and it was not the most comfortable.

The young reception staff members were friendly and helpful all the time. Location was great, in the heart of Umeda and just ten minutes on foot from Osaka Station. At a cost of about 50 Euros per night including breakfast the hotel was very good value. The choice of breakfast was good, the two kinds of pizza and roast beef were my favourite; the display plates and trays got easily empty but one cannot blame the hotel if greedy guests get all the grilled salmon or all the chicken nuggets the moment the waitress brings them to the breakfast room.

Check in is too late at 3 p.m. and check out is too early at 10 a.m. I spent four nights in the hotel and my room was cleaned only once. Another Japanese hotel that will save the Earth by not providing daily cleaning service. The room was my smallest room in Japan.

Love the Umeda area, short walking distance to Osaka station and many shopping centres and food streets in the area. Hotel interior is also tastefully designed and pleasing.

We booked the room for 2 pax but our amenities (towels, toothbrush, bathrobe) were only prepared for 1. We requested for an extra set on the first day but subsequently, we were still only given 1 set and had to repeatedly request for an extra set from the reception. Room was also smaller than expected, we could not open 2 luggages at the same time.

My work was at Osaka station so it was very easy walk only 12minutes and could avoid heat by using the underground path. The room was small but very well equipped and comfortable. Very convenient with many reasonable eateries and convenient stores in neighborhood

Staff seemed not well informed about the vicinity. Some staff could not recommend any restaurants in walking distance. (another staff was very helpful) and they did not know about the lift to go down to underground path. (I found it out by myself but it is important information for people with luggage who wants to go to Osaka station)

It is located about 50 meters from lots of restaurants and bars down the alleyway right beside the hotel. There were not many tourists around which was a nice experience. Staff were wonderful and friendly. The room was warm and had a view over the city. Breakfast was lovley too!

The room is very small, no space for your suitcases, we had to take turns in having one suitcase open at a time behind the front door. It wasnt a huge deal. After being in japan for a while, we understand this is the norm in the cities. Besides that, everything else was wonderful :)

Overall really enjoyed my stay, awesome location and while the room was small, unlike many places these days still had a full section of good bathroom products... Also a really comfy bed!

Honestly not crazy about having reception on the second floor, it made the whole experience feel more like renting an apartment than staying in a hotel. Lastly if I visited again I wouldn't take the breakfast, very limited and I would say a real stretch to call it as having "western options"
