Location was great for us! A little out of the bustle and bustle but still very accessible to train stations and attractions while still being in a great area for food and entertainment! The room was very spacious and a great view. This was the first hotel in Japan we stayed in that provided extra amenities Including coffee! Made a huge difference for us!
The bed was a little hard and was a little annoying that the bathroom sink was located on the other side of the room away from the bathroom/toilet but honestly wasn’t the end of the world, we still really enjoyed our stay!

The hotel is very cozy and generally quiet. The beds were super comfy. There was a construction site nearby, but the noise only occurred during the day. The rooms are a bit small, but ours could fit a large and small bag, plus backpacks. Every day, clean towels and water bottles were left at the door, unless it was cleaning day. We would totally stay here again. The staff is very friendly as well, although they speak little English, but in the end, we all understood each other (which is common in Osaka). I can't comment on the breakfast because we didn't have it.
The light coming into the room in the morning was very bright and there was no way to make the room darker.

• The hotel was exceptionally clean, with well-maintained facilities throughout. • The staff were extremely attentive and friendly, making the stay feel very welcoming. • The breakfast, though limited to four items, was delicious and freshly prepared every day. • The Wi-Fi in the lobby was fast and reliable, great for catching up on emails or browsing.
• The Wi-Fi speed in the rooms could use improvement, as it was a bit slow for more intensive tasks like streaming or working. • Expanding the breakfast menu with a few more options would add to the already great experience.

I loved this hotel. Its about a 15 minute walk to Osaka station, so I used this as home base when making day trips to Kyoto, Hiroshima, etc. The staff here are incredibly sweet and kind. They always greeted me, were always very helpful, and one of them would have conversations with me through Google translate. Everyone was wonderful. I will stay here again when I come back to Japan.
Maybe I just couldn't figure out how to solve this problem. The way you turn on the lights for your room is with your key card. When you go to bed, you pull the key card out to turn off the lights. However, this seemingly disables power to the end table outlets. I could never charge my phone at night.

Our stay at the Umedaholic Hotel was by far the best experience I have had in over 20 years of world travel. The quality of the furnishings, the bedding, the additional room supplies and free food and drink bar are just some of the highlights they have to offer. During our stay, my young daughter became very unwell with Norovirus and the reception staff assisted me in finding her an urgent clinic, ordered a tax, brought a wheelchair to our room, wrapped her in blankets and gave directions to our taxi driver to get us there. We ended up extending our stay as my daughter needed rest, and when it came to changing rooms, we didn't have to wait between check out and check in time, they had our room ready for us. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough, the care, attention to detail and quality of accommodation is world class.

This hotel was a boutique type of hotel which is very popular with foreign tourists as evidenced by the different faces at breakfast each morning. It has everything you need that a larger chain hotel would provide. The staff at the hotel are great and a special mention and thank you goes to a lady named Munemori who was on top of her service. I have travelled a lot and this young lady who was on the front desk had the rare ability to quickly understand my questions and give clear answers even allowing for the language barrier of Japanese to English. She would make a great manager. The hotel is within a easy walk of the main Umeda Osaka train station and a large arcade that has a huge variety of food options.
The use of slated blinds lets in too much light at night making it hard to get to sleep and a blockout curtain would be a better option. The room is small but that is what you get in large Japanese cities. Because the beds had room under you could store your large bag under them. There was a wall which had pegs to hang items on and a few more pegs would be a good idea. Because the rooms are so small better use of the wall areas could be utilized such as more hanging areas either side of the TV.

Seems like a fairly new hotel. I loved how clean and spacious the room felt—larger than most hotels, with space under the bed to store luggage making it feel even roomier! The staff were very friendly and helpful, and they let us store our luggage when we arrived early. Another plus is the bathroom layout. It’s similar to a typical Japanese home, with a separate shower and large bathtub with a seating area. I felt like I was in a sauna and the bathroom felt super spacious. The location is great, though it’s about a 1 km walk to surrounding metro and train stations. But the walk is pleasant and I enjoyed strolling to Umeda Station, passing by shopping malls and streets on the way back to the hotel.
They don’t clean the room every day, we stayed for 7 nights and they were scheduled to clean twice during our stay, which was perfectly fine for us :)

The room was really nice, fairly big and comfortable. It was nice to have a bathtub. It was very clean. The snacks, drinks and complimentary toiletries (like the face masks) for hotel guests in the lobby were nice. The bar offers nice cocktails for a reasonable price. It was quiet.
Having only 4 breakfast options, all savoury, was not ideal for us. We went for the sandwich and the chicken salad, which were both very nice, but we did grow a little tired of them after a week staying at the hotel. Location is good but not ideal, about 15 min walk from Osaka station, we struggled to find our way from Osaka station on the first day. No metro nearby.

This hotel is wonderful. We stayed here at the start and again at the end of our trip, as we loved everything about it. Staff is kind and very helpful. The rooms are big, beds are very comfortable. Sound proofing works very well, very quiet. The location is perfect! Super close to both Osaka and Umeda trainstation. You can get anywhere in the city or Japan from the stations.
I cannot fault anything about this hotel. For breakfast we could not eat soup and sandwich, but Umeda station has an amazing food hall downstairs, Hankyu, which has a brilliant bakery called Andersen and we picked up breakfast from there on our way to discover the city. Around the hotel there are plenty of food options too for lunch and dinner.

- Very helpful staff. - Breakfast was simple but tasty. You could pick from 4 options. - Free water bottles every day. - Free amenities, like toothbrush etc. - Not far from the Osaka Umeda station. - You could open a window in the room for fresh air. - Free drinks and snacks in the Lobby for guests. - Laundry available (required 100 Yen coins). - We did not hear any noise from other rooms / guests, so isolation seemed good. - Free WiFi.
- The room had very little extra space around the bed and in the bathroom. - A bit noisy outside, so you could not leave the window open at night. - The room seemed dusty, which was particularly visible on the duvel.
