Location was great for us! A little out of the bustle and bustle but still very accessible to train stations and attractions while still being in a great area for food and entertainment! The room was very spacious and a great view. This was the first hotel in Japan we stayed in that provided extra amenities Including coffee! Made a huge difference for us!

The bed was a little hard and was a little annoying that the bathroom sink was located on the other side of the room away from the bathroom/toilet but honestly wasn’t the end of the world, we still really enjoyed our stay!

The breakfast was very nice. I generally stuck with the curry myself but also tried the sandwich. Even without ordering a cooked breakfast, there are some nice cold breakfast offerings such as yogurt (of which my husband was a big fan) and mini-croissants. The location was quite convenient, a short walk from the Whity underground mall which then connects to Umeda Station and Osaka Station. There are a lot of nice, varied restaurants nearby and a small convenience store just down the street with necessities and food. The staff were all very kind and helpful. We also appreciated the shower and bath - spacious and with a good water pressure and temperature.

Some of the staff spoke somewhat limited English, so if we had to ask about something more complex, there could be some communication difficulties. We could always work out what mattered with the help of translation apps, though.

WE LOVED UMEDAHOLIC. Our favorite hotel out of the 3 we stayed at in Japan. The staff were great and they provided everything you could need. The bathroom was so spacious and relaxing. The bed is nice and comfortable. Their TV gave you the option to log into your own Hulu or Netflix, so that was nice for us to watch our shows on lower energy days, as most other hotels just provided cable. The location was really convenient with Osaka Umeda Station so close by. We will 100% stay here again next visit to Osaka.

The room is a bit small when it comes to opening luggage, but we were able to make it work, and that is quite typical for hotels in Japan.

The staff was excellent. Very polite and helpful. It’s a good idea to get the breakfast included in your package. Coffee, tea, milk, juice, water, mini croissants, cereal and yogurt were self-serve, and you got a choice of one of 4 breakfast entrees. I chose the ‘curry’ that came with rice, egg, sausage and curry (all in a dish) as well as a cup of a broth based soup and a salad. The whole breakfast was very filling.

The location was in Umeda, however it was quite a walk to an actual train. You were a 5 minute walk to the entrance to the Witty (which is a giant underground mall/concourse connected to multiple lines), but you enter at the far end and you are at least another 10 minutes to the actual Osaka Metro. If you’re not looking to take the metro to other parts of Osaka, you are within a 15 minute walk to major department stores. There are also multiple convenience stores and restaurants around the block from the hotel.

This hotel is super convenient and accessible — perfect for families! The hospitality staff were some of the best we’ve experienced — kind, helpful, and professional. It’s just a 6-minute walk from Osaka Station, and only 2–3 minutes from nearby convenience stores. You’ll also find a variety of amazing food options just 10 minutes away — a true food heaven! They offer in-room massage services, laundry facilities, and pretty much everything you’d need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. I absolutely loved it here and would happily return!

Honestly, there’s nothing bad to say about this hotel — haha! Would 100% stay again.

The hotel is very cozy and generally quiet. The beds were super comfy. There was a construction site nearby, but the noise only occurred during the day. The rooms are a bit small, but ours could fit a large and small bag, plus backpacks. Every day, clean towels and water bottles were left at the door, unless it was cleaning day. We would totally stay here again. The staff is very friendly as well, although they speak little English, but in the end, we all understood each other (which is common in Osaka). I can't comment on the breakfast because we didn't have it.

The light coming into the room in the morning was very bright and there was no way to make the room darker.

This hotel was AMAZING! Hands down our favourite out of all 4 we stayed in during our Japan trip. Location is superb, the staff are so friendly and helpful. They made our entire stay an enjoyable one by greeting us daily on entry/exit of the foyer. This genuinely made me smile every time. The small touches like free teas/water/small snacks in the foyer, seating area, toiletries; everything has been thought of. They communicate well and clearly and room service included fresh towels and water. Beds were comfy with modern bedding. Upside was the large bathroom and separate toilet. Highly recommend staying here if you're ever in Osaka!

Nothing. Everything was perfect.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was spacious by Japan standards and the bed was large and comfortable. The air con was great! There was washing machines but they are often busy. We asked for ice regularly and it was never a problem and they had a cold water machine. There was also free snacks and iced tea. It was close to restaurants and konbinis.

Although it was a short walk to Umeda station just bare in mind that it is to the entrance to a station. There is still quite a walk to the actual trains.

I loved this hotel. Its about a 15 minute walk to Osaka station, so I used this as home base when making day trips to Kyoto, Hiroshima, etc. The staff here are incredibly sweet and kind. They always greeted me, were always very helpful, and one of them would have conversations with me through Google translate. Everyone was wonderful. I will stay here again when I come back to Japan.

Maybe I just couldn't figure out how to solve this problem. The way you turn on the lights for your room is with your key card. When you go to bed, you pull the key card out to turn off the lights. However, this seemingly disables power to the end table outlets. I could never charge my phone at night.

• The hotel was exceptionally clean, with well-maintained facilities throughout. • The staff were extremely attentive and friendly, making the stay feel very welcoming. • The breakfast, though limited to four items, was delicious and freshly prepared every day. • The Wi-Fi in the lobby was fast and reliable, great for catching up on emails or browsing.

• The Wi-Fi speed in the rooms could use improvement, as it was a bit slow for more intensive tasks like streaming or working. • Expanding the breakfast menu with a few more options would add to the already great experience.
